Starting a GRAB / UBER business

Paano po ba kumikita sa ganito? How much is it to register? I tried looking for the info sa website nila pero hindi ko mahanap-- may dyslexia na ata ako hehe.

^ sis I suggest join ka muna sa Uber Manila fb group para malaman mo yung current situation ng operators & drivers. At the same time may newbies like us na gusto mo malaman yung requirements don.
Pinagiisipan ko din Uber kaya lang mukhang mas marami nang operators/drivers kesa sa riders ngayon. Marami nang nahihirapan maghit ng target, unlike daw before nung pasikat palang si Uber na kahit washroom break hindi nila magawa.
Also, nagtry ako magestimate ng fare on both Uber and GrabCar, mas mura talaga Uber. Any idea sis marami din ba naggrab ngayon?

Thanks for the suggestion sis. Maganda nga na maka-join muna sa group at least first hand info. Never tried any of them kaya clueless pa talaga ako sa ganitong service... more so with the business.

I suggest, para dun sa gustong pumasok sa either Grab or Uber, try nyo din maging rider for a few times, iba-ibang routes/destination/day/time/etc. Para me idea kayo how it works, and kung anong level ng service ang dapat. Pwede nyo rin tsikahin mga drivers kung medyo matsika din sila, para first-hand info. Some kasi on FB e operators lang, iba nagda-drive ng unit nila, so wala sila first-hand experience talaga sa operations and sa customer service.

Musta kita ng mga nagsimula na ng Uber biz nila?  True ba na medyo hirap abutin ang incentive quotas lately dahil sa nakakalokang traffic?

True sis! sobrang hirap maabot ng incentive nila ngayon dahil sa traffic plus pababa ng pababa ang incentives nila at pahirap ng pahirap.

Supply and demand.. Nagkaron din kasi ng surge ng mga gusto gawin added source of income ito kaya ganyan.

many drivers want to suggest to put on-hold muna ang pagaccept sa new operators para macontrol yung dami ng drivers ngayon dito sa metro manila. But I'd say Uber must do something about outside metro manila areas now. dapat macover nila na rin nila yung ibang areas and start accepting uber drivers from there. kasi while it is true na maraming uber cars masyado dito sa metro, one of the problems din is like yung drivers and riders from nearby cities which are technically provincial areas na cannot use their service. Drivers are hesitant to accept riders to and from cainta, antipolo, etc. Also, dapat makipagpartner si Uber sa banks to promote prepaid cards so that the riders are not only limited to cc holders.

Sa mga sis na nagbabalak pumasok sa ganitong business i suggest mag grab / uber muna kayo for about a month and tanungin nyo muna mga drivers na masasakyan nyo kung okay pa ba yung ganitong business. Karamihan kasi ng nasasakyan ko ay nagrereklamo na sa liit ng kita. Also check out din mga fb groups kasi may mga discussion dun. Nag plan na din ako mag sideline nito pero ayun nga nung pumasok na sa eksena ang LTFRB na discourage na ko.

we just received a message that our Uber account is now activated... what we need to do next is download the apps then pwede na magstart yung nakuha namin driver... hopefully maganda ang kita... i have 3 more partners in this business... i have officemate who just started last feb, and now nakabili na ng second car nya na ipinasok rin sa Uber.. he is earning 20k (net of gas) every week for 1 car... ang hatian nila is 60-40... so meron syang 12k net every week...

^^Curious din ako kung doable pa yan lately kasi most ng naririnig kong pinasok ang Uber eh mahina na ang kita.  Ano-anong area ang pinapasadahan ng units ng ofcmate mo, sis?

i asked him just now, kung recently ba eh ganun pa rin, sabi nya depende sa incentives na binibigay ni Uber, pabago bago daw kasi, but the lowest per week na nakuha nya since nagstart sya eh around P16k and gas nya daw for that income is around 2k... leaving them 14k na paghahatian, meron pa rin syang 8,400 per week na income for one car...

ang area nila is usually Makati and Taguig daw.

Natawa ako sa mean drivers/operators sa FB group. Totoo nga. Parang 80% ng nagpopost dun mga nega na driver/operator na super defensive ang posts. Lol. But I love uber!

Anyway, may nabasa ako doon ng nagcompute ng earnings nila. Kumita driver nya ng around 12k isang linggo pero ang gas ay umabot ng 6k. Tapos 50-50 hatian. Ang laki ng gastos sa gas

^Sis baka Unleaded tapos malakas sa gas yung sasakyan.. if uber x lang sasalihan mo get the small type mga mirage/i10/ecco ba yun - yan matitipid sa gas yan.

Gusto rin namen ng brother ko to kaso yun nga andameng partners na.. May nasakyan kame from Alabang - ang garahe ng sasakyan is Cavite pa tapos bumyahe kame ng pa-manila pumayag naman, pero naisip ko dapat makakuha si kuya ng pabalik sa Alabang kundi parang lugi byahe sa gas. Partida traffic pa at rush hour.

Parang mas gusto ko pa din sa puti na taxi..kasi hindi tinted yung salamin,para sa akin makakatulong pa ko sa mahirap na taxi driver kasi karamihan sa taxi driver yun lang talaga income sa pag drive ang inaasahan di gaya sa uber o grab car, extra sasakyan na lang yan minsan ng mga may pera.. Ito naman ay sariling opinyon ko lang bilang maawain din sa kapwa mahirap..isa pa ‘to sa makkadagdag traffic lalo dadami sasakyan,kahit san ka pa naman tumingin nagkalat na mga taxi..

May balita last month diba yung pasahero ng Uber, hinabol yung babae at hahampasin ng tubo,nagalit yung driver kasi mali daw address na binigay at nangyari sa loob pa ‘to ng valle verde ha, mismong may ari ng uber taxi pa yung driver.. Kakatakot lang..

^it isn't true daw sis. Hindi ko din alam ha pero alam nating maraming bumabatikos sa Uber and hindi daw registered sa Uber yun kaso ang tanong pano napick-up yung pasahero..

Uber is all over the globe, US, UK, Europe. Last September natry namen ang Uber Paris and same thing very efficient marunong pa mag-english yung driver.

Dati rin akong nagcacab lang kasi akala ko mahal uber dahil sa surge, etc. pero nung natry ko yung uber sobrang convenient kasi pick up from home. Hindi ko na kelangan magpahatid palabas sa village namin para maghail ng cab. Ang hirap din makahanap ng cab na magsasakay dahil sobrang choosy nila at gusto lagi mangontrata. Nakakainis din yung mga nagpapadagdag at nagdadabog pag traffic. Wala pa akong naexperience na ganyan sa uber, sa totoo lang.
