Changing names of your dogs.

Hi just wanna ask dog owners here if you're using a different name to call your pets instead of the one that appears on their papers?

Hi! Yes po.. My pups names are borgy and gwen pero sa papers barron and princess.. Yun po kasi ang pinangalan sa kanila ng binilhan namin.. =)

My pet's name is Yuki and some of the nicknames I use for her are Yuks, Yukibabs, Baby, Tababoy and Yukilele. The response is always the same naman kahit anong gamitin kong name sa kanya. I think hindi siya naco-confuse cause she based it with the tone of my voice and for them it's just another new word to learn.

May nabasa rin ako na article na if a dog has been abused before, changing its name will help him with the transition. So he'll learn na he's already in a new environment na safe siya.

Our cat Hekitty (not our choice; we adopted her when her previous human passed away) has a lot of personality, but I call her anything from ?Hek? to ?Hekkyboo? to ?Kittenboo? to ?Floof Britches? and beyond! She as more nicknames than Carter has little liver pills, and will respond to MOST of them!

My Goldendoodle puppy's breeder's name was Trevor but I changed it to "Buchoy" dahil my pseudonym is Bechay, gusto kong Junior ko siya. I call him "BB" as Bechay's Buchoy  and or Baby pero BB lang ang pagka pronounce.

Our pet dog is Nami, pero we sometimes call her Negra. Color black kasi. Actually yung sibling ni Nami na nasa previous owner nya, Negra ang name. 😁😁😁

My dog is Bobo but for some reason, I never use his name. I use to call him baby, cutie pie, sweetie but not his name
