Mga sis, need your help here. Since we're gonna book the Sound Salad quintet, they told us na for the reception, only cocktails and dinner lang ang coverage. No after party. Not a major issue naman.

After the reception program, so I would expect na guests mag tatayuan na and have chitchat with me and the groom ganun. Okay na lang ba kung magplay na lang kami ng music na as the normal ones na lang e.g. may mp3 playlist na lang na ipapa-play? This is just so walang dead air afterwards. Hehe thanks and appreciate your answers!

^Sis, I think it's fine. There are some L&S suppliers who have their own DJ and does the mixes for after-party music. Maybe you can check with yours rin.

To me, it should not be a problem naman if playlist na yung music for after-party.

marbleslice - hi, yan din dilemma ko noong una, but I shrug it off na. since sabi naman ng MOH/ sister ko na it's better nga daw so that we can play the songs we wanted pa or even some latest upbeat songs. If it's a normal practice then mas napanatag ako

Initially, gusto ko yung guitar, violin, double bass pero now I'm considering yung piano, violin, double bass. Also naisip ko din mag quartet, ido double yung violin. Ok ba yun? Hope you can share your thoughts.

^Sis, it would depend on your choice of music. For example, if your list has more upbeat songs, it would be wise to add percussion.

Try to watch videos given your combinations so you can have an idea how the group would sound.

we booked Infinite Soul Acoustic for my bestfriend's wedding this Nov 2016. Ask ko lang if ok lang ba na ledwall is other supplier , kasi Artuz101 kami sa lights and sounds then ledwall is Jsmina with basic lights and sounds, parang nagdoble kasi book ng brother ko then nabook ko Infinite Soul Acoustic kasama si Artuz, ok lang kayang ganun? sayang di kasi basic lang pala nakuha ko kay Jsmina so kulang din daw for the band ang basic. Btw, si Infinite soul Acoustic din naman kinuha ko ng wedding ko and kampante naman daw sila magwork with either of the two lights and sounds na nabanggit ko.

For those who didnt hire a band or dj for the afterparty and just played taped music from the lights and sounds provider, did your guests stay and drink pa rin ba? I'll just have a spinner provided by Sensitivity. I dont want to hire a dj anymore but guests might feel the party is over na kasi despite telling them na theres an afterparty.

hi mga sisses! we got a quartet from Enrico Braza. they are very good, bagay na bagay sa vintage themed wedding ko. we booked them at a bridal fair sa sm megamall nun 2015 pa.

I initially wanted 3rd avenue pero when i got their rates, uhm, no, thank you. haha. unless na lang siguro may magregalo. right now, i am targeting sound salad pero the team i want is no longer available. iniisip ko if magagaling din ba ang iba. i really want the band to play din kasi sa afterparty, di ako fan ng djs playing afterparty music kasi.

You can check Infinite Soul Acoustic, sila wedding band na kinuha ko and highly recommended din sila sa mga wedding forums like here in GT and waw. Tumutugtog din sila for the afterparty .

We got a quintet from Libante Strings for our wedding, with Abbie Lubang as the singer, for both the church and wedding. They were really good! Abbie was flawless as a singer and had proper pronunciation (sorry, this is a personal pet peeve.) Really worth every centavo we spent
