Recommend a good band, singer, etc for reception (Part 3)

Hi mga Sis,

Nag-inquire ako sa Gseven band, and they quoted me 15k for a Quartet Band. 2 Sets of 45mins each daw ang perform nila. Ok lang ba un? hindi ba masyado limited na 45minutes and 2 sets lang? Although sa reception ko lang naman kelangan ng wedding singer. Ang pricey ni sound salad, out of budget. Any other bands you can suggest that I can ask a quote from? Thanks a lot!

^Hi try mo sis madz & dzhei band. parang angel yung voice ni ms. madz.. sila yung kinuha ko for my wedding. matunog sila dito sa GT. affordable din yung rates nila at 15k. ceremony & reception na iyon. try mo na lang ask if pwede na for reception lang. hope this helps.

you can try Libante strings or Manila String Machine ,  u can also check waw for other choices, yang Gseven ngayon lang sinasabi dito sa gt yan, backread ka ng mga legit reviews sa waw, dito kasi nahahaluan ng mga fake reviews na lately.

^we booked GSeven band's quartet din. I've read some reviews din about sa kanila sa w@w. kaya naeexcite na ko sa performance nila sa wedding ko. ceremony, dinner and after party din sila sa amin.

hell mga sis! gusto ko talaga sina mhadz and dzhei, but cgro kami ni infinite soul ang meant to be. I got their 5pc band. Naging available sila sa date ng wedding ko, kasi na-move daw [textspeak!] booked event nila, so I grabbed them na. Magaling din naman sila hehe

^i feel you sis. first choice ko madz & dzhei pero di ko pwede ipilit dahil booked na sila. inooffer sa akin yung 2nd band daw. pero di ko na tinanggap. at first nakapagdp na ako kila madz. but when they informed me na booked na pala sila, nabalik naman DP ko. hehe. so di talaga meant.

Hi! do you guys have feedbacks regarding totally mesmerized band? I inquired with sound salad but too pricey for me. Infinite soul is fully booked already ;( madz and dhei never replied....maybe they are also fully booked. thanks!

Hi mga sis, question lang, usually how many songs ba when getting a band for the ceremony and reception? I inquired one band, they quoted me 27 songs daw. 7 sa ceremony, 20 sa reception. Is this okay na ba?

super ok na ito sis. Ours was 5 song sa sa church, (* cd songs during pictorial coz the band need to leave early and head to the reception to entertain those early birds, then she asked me to pick 10 cocktail songs incase the guests are not requesting. then few half half song naman for the father-daughter dance, mother-son dance, wine and cake traditions, first dance, money dance.. then another 10 songs during the dinner time. CD songs ang ginamit during games, then nung after party was live ulit. more than 30 songsa yung prinepare namin.

They are OK din sis! Ok ang rates pero ang performance nila is awesome din. Mas mahal ang IS at M&D. My friend's wedding was 2013 pa but i can remember their rendition of "time after time" iba ang dating.

Mga sis, i noticed most of you book the musicians for both ceremony and church. Share ko lang, actually our church package is inclusive na of a soloist and organist. Gusto sana namin sila na lang during the church ceremony para sulit naman the church package. Although I haven't seen and heard them yet, more on tiwala na lang ako. Haha. Kaya we were thinking of booking a band for reception only because meron ng available sa church at maka tipid din.

What do you think mga sis? Or anyone of you who booked the band for reception only? TIA!

^Sis, baka may videos sila of previous performance para ma-check mo rin. If okay naman, go and book ka na lang for reception!

A group plays 5-7 songs lang ata for ceremony so okay na yun! Check quality though. More than the reception music, I think ito yung maalala mo talaga kasi.

^Sis pinkonearth sige i'll inquire nga sa church if they have a sample performance ng in-house soloist & organist nila. and siguro one more thing pala, our church does not actually allow love songs during the entou and bridal march - so most likely piano version or instrumental ang i-play. then what's left na lang are those church songs. Thank you so much sis!

^Sis, I actually prefer instrumental lang. Yun balak ko for the walk.  It's more solemn and mas emote that way, hehe!

Sana they have videos nga. That's the only way you could rest comfortably, hehe!

Need help mga sis. I booked kasi full band ng Madz & Dzhei. Tapos now nung pinakinggan namen yung mga samples nila, di naman pala namen bet ang full band. Sana pala Quartet lang.

Pano ko kaya sasabihin kay Madz? Nahihiya kasi ako eh.

Actually di talaga namen alam difference ng Quartet sa full band nila. Pero kasi naiingayan talaga kame don sa Full band eh.

^Sis, just try to ask if you can downgrade your package because you had a change of heart and prefer a quartet.

Hi sis hermione28, I agree with sis pinkonearth you can ask them to downgrade your package. Mas okay kung masabi mo agad habang maaga pa. And for the Quartet band, I suggest it will compose of a violinist + a pianist + 2 singers - that would be fine. para hindi din masyadong maingay yung kalalabasan ng music nila.

We might be booking Sound Salad na Quintet lang for our reception. Baka maingay masyado kapag full band, especially my lola's going to take one of the VIP seats in front (alam niyo naman matatanda ayaw ng maingay hehe)
