Rainy season and doing laundry: Tips, recommendations?

Hi mga kapatid,

Eto na nga, panahon ng tag-ulan. Mahirap nang maglaba dahil matagal matuyo yung mga damit....do you have any tips or lessons you can share to make the process easier? Any recommendations para di mag-amoy kulob (tama ba yung word?)

Top-loader yung washing machine namin, at may spinner siya.
I pre-soak the whites the night before I do laundry (whites lang) with Pride (1 scoop) in a balde of water.
The morning of laundry, ayun. Piga ko muna yung whites from the soak-water, then 1 round in the WM with 3 scoops Pride (with fab-con), followed by 2 rinses.
Spin dry, then out to hang.


Pansin ko lang kasi with the weather, minsan 2 days nang naka-sabit para matuyo, pero may halumigmig (I think this is faint dampness?) pa rin. Malamig yung tela  ng damit dahil di nga matuyo ng todo.

Samin kasi yung sampayan nasa covered patio. Open air siya but I guess at night malamig, eh kung uulan di may moisture din.

How do you guys deal with doing laundry in this weather?
What do you guys do para di mangamoy yung nalabhang damit?

wanna know some tips too.
when I used to live in Baguio, dryer lang talaga ang best friend namin kasi that's the only way para matuyo yung clothes at hindi magka mold. mahal sa electricity yung dryer..wala rin kami nito sa house now.

top loader din samin and we have a spin dryer. mejo magastos sa kuryente din to lalo if  i-spin ng matagal, not to mention nakaka sira din ng clothes.

I guess fabcon is the only solution para di mangamoy. maybe it would help na kapag gabi, ipasok sa loob ng house yung clothes and hang it somewhere, para hindi madagdagan yung dampness?
minsan we also place damp clothes in our room din at night para mahanginan ng fan. nakakatulong naman siya to get dry.

hindi ko pa natatry lahat ng fabcons out there but so far ang pinaka ok samin is downy antibac..compared to Del and downy blossom (tama ba yun?). have yet to try downy timeless which I got for free sa everyday me, altho I don't think I'll really spend money to purchase that kasi mas mahal siya compared sa downy antibac

basta pag rainy season na, time narin namin gumamit ng fabcon. kasi usually contented na kami sa detergent kapag maaraw naman
