Better ask your HMUAs sisses. Not all HMUAs give brides a free headpiece. Mine didn't. However, my gown designer did. I didn't wear that though. I bought one from Carolina's and another from Divi. In the end, I chose the one from Divi. Haha!

yes sis, must-have item talaga ang money bag. ewan ko ba sa pagmamadali ko nalimot ko to. ang ending, sa 1 paper bag ko lahat nilagay ang cash gifts/checks at meron pa silang nadalang red bag, andun din. mukang t**** talaga haha. sayang nga meron ata kaming ilang envelopes na naiwan sa venue, di na naibalik huhu

Oh no! You lost some of your envelopes sa venue? Yikes!  I guess useful nga ang moneybag and  more secure.

Check with your gown designer first. Normally designers include a pouch/clutch with matching lace of your wedding gown. This purse will do, in keeping the cash gifts people will hand over to you. And best of all, it is custom made to match your gown.

hahaha, the moneybag sa link photo looks so bulky…. I'm assuming it is the kind of bag I can leave with a trusted relative so we don't end up using a paper bag to collect the envelopes/checks. I'm sure the bride "purse/pouch" ℅ designer will be a classier bag, and yes, something I can also use to keep the checks/envelopes in. Kung mapuno, can transfer to the money bag.

wow! buti nalang i saw this thread. i don't have any idea what arrhae was pero it's 13 coins pala?

for the cord, alam ko it's like a rope pero nowadays i see beaded cords. ok lang ba yun? Baka I can make my own cord using beads (or may pamahiin ba na bawal?) i'm totally clueless! thank you for this thread.

I've been researching arrhae also. Dami choices, dami colors!  I like the ones in a boxed set, especially if you will keep them as family heirloom, meron na storage case. Mas mahal ata kung may box, so I'm still looking at all my options. Possible din we will just use the arrhae of my future hubby's lola. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue….. etc etc

i was looking for blue shoes sana para solved na! then pwede new cord? then check ko if i can borrow arrhae and something old:D

Good point! So what does 'Something Old, something New, something Borrowed, something Blue" really mean and refer to?

Nowadays, I think brides can get creative on how they want to interpret the tradition of "Something Old, Something New…." It's fun to personalize and make use of the tradition in your own unique way.

^ no worries sis..  my mum used 13 silver coins for their wedding given by my lola from my papa's side. We naman are using coins from the UK, US (minted) and old coins from the Phil.

@chili1113 - at first I was supposed to but I was advised not to, as polishing them, and or silver/gold plating them decreases their value in time ( these are for the minted coins)

Hello! Napadaan ako sa Carolina's nung minsan and nakakita nga ako ng mga beads dun na naka-ikot sa lalagyan. Iniisip ko kung pwede nga silang gawing cord para sa kasal.
