On the topic of accessories…. anybody planing to use money bags? Or is that a waste of money?    Nakita ko sa FB and it looks like a stylish way to hold checks/cash sa wedding.

Check with your gown designer first. Normally designers include a pouch/clutch with matching lace of your wedding gown. This purse will do, in keeping the cash gifts people will hand over to you. And best of all, it is custom made to match your gown.

wow! buti nalang i saw this thread. i don't have any idea what arrhae was pero it's 13 coins pala?

for the cord, alam ko it's like a rope pero nowadays i see beaded cords. ok lang ba yun? Baka I can make my own cord using beads (or may pamahiin ba na bawal?) i'm totally clueless! thank you for this thread.

^Yup! =) 13 pcs of coins for arrhae. Any coin will do. Hehe Before we wanted to collect 13 different coins of different currencies but I got lazy to collect them haha. Or you can use vintage collectible coins, or even regular coins. Some have them dipped in gold. Or you can buy unity coins.

For the cord, normally the gown designer provides this. But you can buy in Wedding Library, Carolinas, or online custom suppliers like Love is in the Details.

Hairpiece, I think Ill just buy in Carolinas also =) Just in case I don't like the one my designer is going to include hehe

yes sis, must-have item talaga ang money bag. ewan ko ba sa pagmamadali ko nalimot ko to. ang ending, sa 1 paper bag ko lahat nilagay ang cash gifts/checks at meron pa silang nadalang red bag, andun din. mukang t**** talaga haha. sayang nga meron ata kaming ilang envelopes na naiwan sa venue, di na naibalik huhu

Question dears, the hairpiece? This is the blinged-out clip na I often see sa page ng Jacatel right?  Will this be attached sa veil?  Pasensya na ha. I still have no idea what to do with my hair.  Good thing I still have more or less 4 months to think about it ( 😓😓😓 yikes) .  At first I want flowers in my hair pero I haven't seen a lot of brides na may flowers sa hair and then veil.  Ang gusto ng mum ko eh may hair bling ako. So at the moment na co-confuse ako. What did you guys have / what will you have?

samin 13 coins of different currencies nilagay sa arrhae. tapos sa cord ang ganda pala nung free cord ko from my designer! eh nagpagawa ako ng beaded cord sa friend ko nung ginagawa nya nga yun nag ask sya about sa pamahiin baka daw kasi may ganon kami sabi ko wala. yun free cord ko binigay ko nalang sa friend ko na kinasal. yun headdress nga di ko alam may ganon pa pala nakita ko nalang may kasama sya from may designer. wala kasi akong arte sa katawan basta maikasal lang haha!

Also, I'm planning to use the arrhae of my parents. Do you know where I can have these cleaned/polished?

^sis kakakuha ko lang kanina ng sakin sa bridehouse. Di ko na naisip magtanong kung may pagpipilian ba or wala. Basta nilagay na lang nila dun. Kasi naman sis may meeting ako 3pm sa sm north. 3pm nasa bridehouse pako kaya aligaga nako kanina!

sorry for being such a newbie. i googled naman kaso walang lumabas...

bride house is a shop for bridal gowns? or bridal accessories? or coordinator ba sila?
