Hi mga sis. Anybody here tried Amelia Blossoms for bridal bouquet and entourage? I'm still waiting for my quotation from Inah of Fullblooms.

Also, who has an idea about the usual price range of flowers on a per year basis? If your wedding is set on December, are flowers really expensive at that time or not? Are imported peonies also expensive? Thanks

^Yes prices of flowers are more expensive in December and also Feb because of Vday. Ako nga I wasnt expecting that even mother's day will affect the price of my flowers since my wedding is the same week!

Also, yes expensive ang peonies =) But most expensive of all is Lily of the Valley although, personally I am not fond of them.

^^ peonies are quite expensive. It also depends on when you'll be having your wedding.  Wala naman yatang locally sourced na peonies, they are imported. When I asked before, December malalaki ang blooms nila. It also depends per florist. When I went home last March, my mum and I went to Dangwa to canvass, and peonies range from 400-900 per stem.  My wedding is in June, and one florist told me na baka mahirapan daw silang mag outsource ng full peonies. I told them naman I don't want a full peony bouquet. But I want it mixed with other flowers na malalaki din ang blooms like cabbage roses and ranunculus (and interspersed with lots of greens) which are cheaper but nevertheless still gorgeous looking flowers and good alternatives to peonies

Thanks sis chili1113 and bonzaigirl. I'm trying canvass kung ano usual range ng bridal bouquet and package so at least before ako umuwi this year may idea na kami. Also one florist told me they have imported and local peonies. No idea if they're expensive or not. Anyway will note what you guys have said. Thanks

Also, any bride here pala who have experienced booking with Manuel Sony Francisco? I just saw one blog who raved about his work and maganda naman talaga sa pictures. Any additional input will be really helpful

^ Don't know about the locally sourced peonies, kasi from what I've read, it only grows in cold places. And nung nagcanvas kami kasi sa Dangwa na kami nagtanung nung time na yun. And nung tinanung ko sila kung san nila kinukuha yung mga Peonies, ang sabi iniimport daw nila and needs to be ordered in advance. Maybe somebody was successful in growing them in Baguio. Anyways good luck.

Love my bouquet and she can work on your budget Sadly I lost my bouquet while having photos sa garden ng Lourdes Church, naloka ako wala akong ihahagis sa pool na bulaklak (yun kasi finale ng program namin magbabasa kami lahat). Anyway, get her if you're having your big day in Tagaytay, kilala sya duon

Yung florist na book ko ay Blooming flowers by Louie and Anne. Mabait silang kausap. Maliit lang yung stall nila sa dangwa at di mo aakalain na nakarating na sila sa ibang lugar. what made me book them is they were recommended by a co-worker of mine whom they were the florist as well as my co-workers sister wedding. Hindi naman ako super specific sa flowers, as long as nasa shade ng pomelo go na tight budget lang kasi kami,. They quoted me 22,900 for the reception, church, bridal bouquet, 3 mini bouquet. Yung corsage/boutonniere will be DIY.

last minute... can anyone recommend a flower shop/florist in antipolo/marikina area?  may nakausap na ako last month.  then ngayon may tinanong ako uli, sabi nya akala nya di raw ako tuloy sa kanya.  may nakapencil book na sya na dalawa, waiting for confirmation.  e 2 events lang daw sya in a day.  OH EM.  gustong himatayin.  gusto kong agad-agad mag DP para malaglag yung naka pencil book nya, hehe.  ang sama lang.  ngayon ngarag ako uli.  i only have 1 month to go!  help mga sis please!

Try to talk din with Ate Inah (Fullblooms by Inah). If you're to contact her, best if you send her in adv wedding info and pegs so she can send you quotation/proposal more quickly
She's very good at styling and generous as well with freebies.

Sis zaji731, Im about to visit Fullblooms by Inah sa office nya sa makati this week, no idea of how much mga packages nila.. Is it affordable ba?

I think she's affordable.
When i initially inquired with her i did not have any idea as to what i want for my wedding so she quoted i guess a standard package 24k-28k depending on choice of flowers. That includes ento+ceremony and the set up was very pretty already. Although when I went to her office she said she can work also within my budget.
Since i set aside a bigger amount as budget, I did not bother to ask for discounts anymore and availed na yung 24k (i haggled na lang for freebies like additional  aisle decor and upgrade sa entrance and many more pa hahaha. Style ko kasi, I wont ask for discounts pero susulitin ko ang quote sa kin)

Try to backread sis, if Im not mistaken she can work within budget as low as below 20K pa.

Nkapaginquire nako sis! quote nya saken is 36k na nadiscountan nya to 32k. Kmusta naman kasi yung ento ko andami! Mahaba pa yung church ko. Peonies pa gusto ko na flowers for my bouquet. So, reasonable din naman.. At magaganda mga samples na bingay nya saken.. Like dun sa church, big ball flowers in tall glasses with crystals ang ilalagay nya with flower arch pa.. Super bait din nya. Tutulungan ka nya sa peg na gusto mo na pasok sa budget mo.
