weekday birthday celebration

Hi mga sis, need advice. My baby's 1st bday falls on a weekday and since 1st bday celebration to I want to celebrate it on the day itself. Kaso ang worry ko is baka madaming di makapunta, i'm not planning a huge party pa naman, mga 70 pax guest ang plan namin invite. Do you celebrate your baby's 1st bday on a weekend always? And kung ganon, what do you do on the day itself ng bday nya? In addition, my baby's bday is near christmas, baka lalong walang makapunta pero gusto ko talaga sa day itself magcelebrate.

Hi sis! My daughter's 1st birthday falls on weekday also. What we do, nung mismong araw ng birthday ni baby, nagcelebrate kami sa orphanage. Then weekend yung birthday party nya.

good idea yan sis, kaso i'm on a budget kaya as much as possible, 1 celebration/party ang kaya. will try to consider that.

weekday din yung 1st bday ni baby ko dati. i opted to have the party on the weekend closest to her birthday kasi nga baka konti or walang pumunta. pwede namang after office hours but hindi naman kasi lahat ng guests ko follow the usual 8-5/9-6 shift. another concern pa, my baby sleeps early so if early evening, antok na siya and irritable, stress lang ang aabutin ko pag ganun.

 on the day itself naman, we just had a simple salo salo sa bahay. i just bought cake, spaghetti, chicken and pizza para sa handa niya tapos candle blowing.

i've decided to do weekend celebration na din (kahit gusto ko talaga sa day itself, makulit lang hehe). I'm thinking out of town kame sa bday nya and diretsong christmas vacay na rin since malapit sa pasko bday ng baby ko

Sa akin nga yung baby ko Sunday eh!  Pero dahil walang solo baptismal ang Sunday ginawa naming Sabado. No plans yet kung anong gagawin sa day mismo ng 1st bday niya, basta kung kaya pa baka mag attend kami ng FEAST na Sunday mass.
