Laya naisip nya mag pa minimal atleast madaming eggs ang makuha tapos we can try again if failed or if ever mag successful eh di may isa pa kameng anak na naka frozen for next year...

"Unethical" iyon, technically. Pero for me, they're your embryos, so it's your choice :) Although not re-freezing them after mag-expire ang stay nila sa freezer would technically "destroy" them :(

Where you there June 30th?

Hi sis Dido!

Sisses au_chic & chiclet_24

Oo nga eh. I had 4 blastocysts and 1 embryo.

Kawawa naman if itatapon or ipapa thaw mo nalang sila basta basta.

Pero what if ginawa nila yun?

Hi everyone. I've been trying to post here pero the modertor won't approve my message kasi it's been a long time since my last post. Sana the moderator will let me na. I really want to join your discussion.

I guess I can post now. I think mga 6 years ako last nag post dito female network, noong planning kami ng wedding. I just want to share to you guys what I'm going through. Hubby and I were HS sweetheart and we got married at 21. Syempre enjoy and travel muna and at 25 we started TTC. More than a year wala parin. I went to a doctor na. I have regular period pero I have PCOS daw. The only symptoms that I can tell is I don't lose weight kahit I always exercise.

We did 6 IUIs, all failed. We did IVF-ICSI last March, all 13 eggs fertilized, 11 matured and transferred 1 day 5 3BB embryo, but BFN. I had an autoimmune testing, all normal. We did FET and transferred 1 6day 4BB and still BFN. Finally, I was tested for natural killer cells and it came back elevated. We are doing another FET and transfer my last two frozen embryos next month. I will do intralipids infusion before transfer. I asked the doctor rin if husband and I could be tested for alloimmune testing, yung HLA DQa. I think LAT ito sa Philippines.  Now we will wait a week for the results. Pray for me that I'll get my BFP soon.

This is really a difficult process. I am really hoping this coming cycle will work. After noon I'm not sure pa muna. Maybe we'lll take a break, hope for a miracle and if not, I'll save and go home to the Philippines na lang and do treatments there. Kasi LIT can be done there diba. Saka IVF treatments are so expensive where I live. Is Kato cheaper than Carmi? How about the success rates? Sino sa inyo have activated natural killer cells? What was/is your treatment for that? Thanks everyone and sorry dahil maraming out of topic.

Acupuncture, DHEA and CoQ10 helps egg quality. Kaso dapat started 3 months before IVF. Pero mag frozen embryo transfer ka ata. I'm new to the thread  :)

Welcome iHeartYah ^_^ I have a google sheet of our detailed expenses in carmi and kato. If you want to view it, just PM your gmail so you can compare them :)

Kato is the most inexpensive fertility clinic in the country, as far as I know. According to my gyne-onco, there are only 4 fertility clinics in the Philippines: Carmi, Kato, Victory (?) in Manila and the one in Cebu. A friend said her whole IVF process in Cebu cost 1 million pesos pero BFN pa rin :(

Yes, I have been already taking DHEA 75mg/day (GNC brand, 25mg/tab) the past few months :) My FSH went from 22 in February 2015 to 13 in June 2015. Normal range is below 10.

I just haven't found enough studies supporting CoQ10's benefits yet. With DHEA, marami nang promising researches :)

@iHeartYah - i have immuno problem-- category 1, 2 and 5. Category 5 is the NK cells, although as per my immunologist, my NK is just 18, not so high kasi sa kanya is 32, we had to do LIT pa din. Done with my LIT naman, 4 sessions lang. And then LAT is borderline lang pero we did everything before transfer, intralipid and innohep injectable but still BFN. Prepping for my 2nd transfer next week naman, this time 2x kami mag intralipid. Tapos na yung 1st intralipid last july 4, and the 2nd intralipid will be a day before transfer. Then innohep and prednisone and aspilet (for APAS)

Thanks mamacita and au_chic

I will pm you au_chic. Even with insurance helping I've already spent $13,000 US dollars including the coming FET. Thank God he provided because last year I went to the doctor just for a check up and no clue that I will go through this journey. I really want to get a BFP and give birth before 30. Sabi lang kasi diba nila mas okay.

I will share to you over the counter meds that are part of my clinic's IVF protocol. I think this is for low ovarian reserve or over 35. I have not tried these:
DHEA 25mg, one in am, two in pm
Maca Root, take 5 500 mg capsules a day
Royal Bee Jelly, take 2 1,000 capsules twice a day
CoQ10, 600 mg every other day

What I take:
750mg Metformin
Prenetal
Low dose/baby Aspirin
Folic Acid with B12
Fish Oil with DHEA
B6

Mamacita, I will update you paano yung intralipids treatment ko, alam ko once lang. I will take medrol(steroids) 16 mg, 5 days before transfer. I have hysteroscopy next week, where they do endo scratch, biopsy and mock transfer. Tapos next next week yung baseline appt ko. Ganoon talaga, according to studies, be prepared talaga to do at least 3 IVFs before success pero ang nakakainis dito, too late sila mag check ng lahat ng immune testing. I searched online naman, there are few clinics who really believes and fully supports all immune problems. Kasi kung BFN ulit and If I go out of state to one of those clinics, super malaking gastos. It will take me time to save for that. Kaya I'd like to check Kato or Carmi, but hopefully talaga di na umabot doon.

My NK K-562 target cell test is 13.9 when they tested. Normal ata is 10 pero they prefer 8.5 to those TTC. Category 2? I'll pray for you and your treatments. Sana we will both get our BFP soon.

Before my IUIs, di natuloy na IVF, then every IVF ginagawa. Actually very controversial pa ang immune issues(Category 1&5) dito sa US. Doctors like Beer, Braverman, Kwak Kim and Sher ang talagang believer nito. Dr. Beer died already, he is the author of the book "Is your body baby friendly?". I just ordered this book. I saw online that Dr. Ed Lim, immunologist in Manila trained with Dr. Beer daw.

Accdg to my doctor 3 reasons daw bakit nag fail ang IVF, if everything else is perfect
1. embryo transfer problem (bihira naman ito mangyari kasi they do embryo mock transfer/ catheter fitting)
2. immune issues

Regards to everyone. Been seeing the posts and it's been challenging to say the least. I just hope we'll all get our baby dust soon in His time.

Went back to KATO yesterday for BHCG after my DAY 5 blastocyst FET last 09 July. My level is only 0.6. Sabi ni Dr. Perillo, she still can't 100% rule out na BFN because they had one patient who was at the same level as me and she had a successful pregnancy. So now, I'm still on meds and awaiting another test on Sunday. Haaaay, I don't know how to feel but I want to stay positive. Kaya lang, I'm just thinking to take a home PT on Sunday and get it over with. Sayang din kasi yung cost ng B-HCG.

Anyway, if I do another round of FET, pwede ba i-transfer and day 2 cleavage and day 5 blasto ng sabay? I have two embryos that are still stored. Or dapat ba ipapamature muna so that both embryo will bey Day 5 blast? How soon should you do the next cycle of IVF, if ever? Is there an ideal time frame for it?

Sorry, daming questions but I just want to get your opinions din.

Hi angeleyes98. If your transfer of a DAY 5 blastocyst was July 9, parang ang aga naman to check HCG ng 5 days lang. Kasi syempre frozen yung embryo and I wonder if they did assisted hatching. Mas matagal mag implant pag frozen kesa fresh transfer. The ones I know usually do pregnancy test after 7 days para mas sure na nag re release na ng HCG. Some people get a positive rin naman after 5 days. Sa clinic ko pag frozen embryo transfer, they do HCG after 10 days and is <2 is negative. I actually do pregnancy test right before my BETA para ready na ako. Kung negative, ready na ako somehow to accept when they call although I still hope.

As for another round of FET. Let us say, you are not pregnant. Go over muna with the doctor why you did not get pregnant. Maybe you neeed other test? Another treatment? Kung hindi naman. You can do FET right away, it's up to you if you're ready. There's no problem in transferring 2. Take in consideration your age and history of twins in your family. And embryo can split lalo na pag assisted hatching, triplets and quadruplets? Kung ako papipiliin I'll choose to transfer both. No need to do extended culture kasi isa lang naman yung Day 2 mo. They say embryos do better inside our uterus kesa petri dish. Kaya kunwari yung ibang nag pa IVF(not natural or mini IVF) na ages 35+, 3 eggs lang nakuha or 3 lang nag fertilized. They do not wait ng day 5 na, they transfer everything na agad.

Hi sis! Same tayo blastocyst transfer. Mababa din beta ko after 5 days of transfer.. 1.9 na lang. Pero after 5 days naging 87 then another 5 days 910 na. Pero i ended up ectopic pregnancy. Meron ako kasabay last time. 0.9 first beta niya. After 5 days nag negative na. Pero its case to case basis. Pero dont stress yourself too much thinking sis. Pero syempre you have to prepare youself sa mga pwede mangyayari. Dasal dasal lang tayo.:)

And sis pag nag HPT ka, your hcg level should be 100 and above para madetect sa hpt. And faint line pa yun. Like 100 pataas.

Sis, pag HRT protocol sa Kato, 5 days after blastocyst transfer ang b-hcg. Yung normal transfer is after 7 days. Day 2 embryo is after 12 days yata.

May cycle day ytang sinususunod for FET. Mine was trasferred at CD18. 2 blastocysts, HRT protocol.

I just haven't found enough studies supporting CoQ10's benefits yet. With DHEA, marami nang promising researches :)

Whether you are TTC or not, CoQ10 is beneficial for anyone/everyone. It's not a supplement, meaning we have this in our body. But as we get older, nababawasan siya. Taking CoQ10 helps with cell regeneration. In my case, I believe it's one of the things that helped me a lot in conceiving. I was under natural IVF protocol because stimms wouldn't work on me, so I had to work on developing quality eggs.

As far as I understand, DHEA helps with quantity, while CoQ10 helps with quality. :)
