How to detect a online job scam?

hey there! hingi lang ng advice sa mga GT na VA at may online job.

How do you detect that a job is a scam? Aside from asking for money, any other telltale signs na hindi ka babayaran ng employer mo?

I recently accepted a writing post and this is my first time to agree on one. It's mostly writing  short essays and we don't have a required time to be online. The company seems to be legit but the person contacting me is not using a company email, is that a red flag na ba? This person is active naman when you search her online as a online marketer
