Hi sisses, can you share your blender brand na heavy duty.  I like sana yung parang gamit sa Jamba juice store na nakakagawa ng smoothie.  As in pino yung yung veggies and fruits pag nagblend.

Me too! Looking for a blender that can crush ice cubes. Pricey din kasi ang ice crusher if bibili pa separately. Last year i bought kyowa blender, as per the saleslady, kaya mag-crush ng ice cubes, super fail!

I'm not sure if merong pang National brand. We have this blender/juicer na more than 10 years na pero still working pa din. Ang galing nya pagdating sa shakes etc, kasi talagang nadudurog yung ice. Yung recent purchase ko na blender from SM, don't remember the brand juskoday kahit yung mangga may buo buo pa din e tagal nang naka-blend.

I think the more expensive brands are better (like yung gamit ng Zagu, Fruit Magic) kasi you get what you pay for talaga

okay lang sa akin kung medyo pricey basta worth it and mabibigay talaga yung result na gusto ko.
Iba kasi talaga yung motor pag heavy duty and can crush ice/fruits/veggies into smoothie.
ayoko na din kasi bumili ng separate ice crusher (eh hindi naman ako actually ma ice sa drinks) and juicer.  Yung juicer na type ko nasa 14K na, eh nasasayangan ako sa pulp ng mga iju-juice ko.  Mas better kung blender na lang para walang tapon...

as per my experience Osterizer works great. ang tagal na rin sa amin nito, parang 10 years+ though may napalitan nang ibang parts. when you use whatever blender, dapat talaga small ice lang. sa jamba juice pansinin ninyo, yung ice nila small cubes lang, not ice tubes. meron naman nabibili na ice tray to make smaller ones for your blender.

hindi ko na maalala kung anong juice/coffee shop napagtanungan namin before, heavy duty yung gamit nila, Hamilton Beach daw yung brand ng blender.

Looking for one too.. Most drink ingredients need blender.

Moulinex lasted for about 15 years. Di naman nasira but it wasn't used much so it deteriorated. Super sulit! Plus, the brand has been around for a while now.
We'll look for this when we go browsing for blenders.

I saw a heavy duty blender worth 8k+ and now 6k+ only, brand is Phillips. As per the SA, kaya mag-crush ng cube ice pero kasi i want a proof and as much as possible yung tested and proven na ng iba.

May moulinex din sa mga nanay ko. Mag 30yrs na gumagana pa din. Maganda rin ang review sa oster na brand.

I checked Osterizer in their FB page, ang ganda, expensive lang nasa 18K yata yung nakita ko

from my experience, Oster brand. yung sa mommy ko buhay pa. tinapon ko lang dahil nag yellow na pero buhay pa siya. nasa 20 years na ata yon

Wala pa we'll have to look around one of these days. The old blenders wala na ganon models hehe.

A former classmate said na okay daw yung Vitamix blender niya.  I don't know what model she has or how much it is, and I haven't seen or tried the smoothies she makes using it so I have no idea kung gaano kapino yung outcome.  There are several establishments using Vitamix blenders din with okay results (including popular coffee shops), so this brand is probably worth considering.

I've tried using an Oster blender before and I wasn't satisfied with the outcome.  Hindi pino yung pagkakablend ng ice even after I ran the blender for a longer period of time.  And medyo kabado ako nung ginagamit ko siya na baka bumigay yung motor kasi iba na yung pitch, parang nahihirapan na siya.  Mas mabilis siya maghingalo compared to a Braun blender that we have.  Siguro mas powerful yung motor ng Braun blender na ito compared to the Oster one, I don't know.  Mas smooth ang pagkakablend ng ice sa Braun.  Matibay siya, it was made in Germany, maganda yung quality.  But this is a Braun blender from the time before P&G/Delonghi got a hold of the brand.  The models that I saw after P&G took over weren't as good, nag-deteriorate na yung quality.

Oh wow! I'm so surprised no one suggested Philips Blender. We have the one that comes in a glass tapos may button for ice. Whenever i make shakes, tapos nakikita ng visitors na ice cubes yung nilalagay ko, natatakot sila na baka daw masira blender namin. Pero talagang kaya ng Philips. :-)
