Ako din mga sis pwede mag rant? Naloloka ako sa mom ko kasi di nya bet yung motif namin na royal blue and coral. Mas maigi pa din daw yung puro pink, or yellow or green motif because it signifies something like for green, it stands for prosperity etc. I was like, wala sa colors yung magiging fate ng marriage life nyo kasi. Whatever color we chose, it's because we both love it and happy kami sa colors na yun.

And my future in-laws are bugging us bakit malayo yung ceremony and venue, sa Tagaytay kasi. Ayaw daw ba namin mag invite. Then kwento nila yung isang relative nila na recently kinasal invited daw lahat ng kamag anak. Nagdala na lang daw ng extra food on top of the catering service para di maubusan ng food. Me and h2b were like, Tagaytay holds something special in our hearts kaya dun namin gusto. And yes, pili lang ang invited, sakin yung mga close relatives and friends lang invited. And no, hindi pwede magdala ng outside food sa venue kaya we need to strictly follow the # of guests. Hay..I was suggesting na magkaroon na lang ng separate reception for relatives and friends na hindi nainvite para walang samaan ng loob though additional expense yun. Sana lang ok sila sa ganun. Sorry for my long post 😑

My mom also doesnt like the color. Navy blue kami. Gusto niya pure white (which is super boring for me) haha! anyway, kasal natin ito sis. haha! Let's show them nalang on our wedding day how beautiful our chosen colors are

Hi future brides!

Just want to share:

First problem namin is the church. I am a methodist (though baptized in a Catholic Church) and h2b is a catholic (though he joins me in church also since he knows naman that there is not much difference between the two). He is okay to have a wedding at a Methodist Church but at first his parents don't want to. Hence, we are planning a double ceremony, one catholic and methodist, to respect both our families. Kaya lang additional yun sa budget.  Luckily, he was able to talk to them and explain to them na same lang naman yun.

Second problem, I have this videographer na gustong gusto ko pero medyo out of budget. huhuhu

Hi sis, sometimes talaga we can't get what we want. Budget wedding ba kayo sis?
Pwede naman na hanap kayo ng ibang videographer na swak rin sa taste nyo at the same time, swak sa budget nyo. In that case, you will not go beyond your budget. Or if that videographer is already non-negotiable to you & to your h2b, you can get him naman as long as sa ibang bagay ika-cut down nyo yung allotted budget nyo. Always remember sis, habang papalapit nang papalapit ang wedding day, mas lumalaki ang gastos.

^ thanks pogi02! Actually pasok siya sa budget ko but less yung laman ng package. Unlike another videographer na okay din naman for me pero (hindi ko first love) lower than 14k sa budget tapos more freebies in the packages. So i'm really torn if I will follow my heart or I will be practical this time.

Ang hirap i-define ng budget wedding sis! subjective kasi.. but i agree with you na habang papalapit na ang wedding mas lumalaki ang gastos, so i don't know whether mas okay bang maging practical na lang dahil sa wedding day naman feeling ko ay di ko na maiisip sino gumawa ng sde ko dahil maganda na lahat sa paningin ko! hehe

^sis itskat! I guess pwede mo din naman iconsider yung videographer na gusto mo. Like kami, budget wedding lang din kami. Though may mga suppliers kami na mejo pricey din. Ang ginagawa na lang naman is nag-aadjust kami sa ibang supplier. Para kahit papaano pasok pa din kami sa budget though high-end yung ibang suppliers namin.

Same with sis fidelity88, you can lower down your budget sa ibang items para ma-compensate yung in-allot mo for your videographer.

Samin kasi ni h2b, we are into "best value". Lagi namin kino-consider yung output + cost. Meron din naman akong mga first love suppliers, pero di namin nakuha due to budget constraints. Nagkukuripot din kasi ako. hehe! Na-feel ko na yung mga heartbreaks sa suppliers, kahit gustong gusto ko pero pag alam naming hindi keri, goodbye na. Pero when I look at the brighter side, kahit hindi high-end yung suppliers na meron kami, I know na yung mga napili naming suppliers will deliver what we want. Be contented of what you have lang and trust your "Dream Team". Yun lang naman sakin sis itsKat!

thanks fidelit88 and pogi02! yun nga ginawa namin kagabi, we checked saan kami pwedeng magbawas and saan maoover talaga ang budget! i was able to book my desired videographer na!
