^ is there a lot of difference if I use post office instead of a local courier?

^ sparklingjewel, I had some of my invites shipped via Xend. I found it impossible to meet all of them in person before the wedding, and it saved me the hassle.

Hi sis, i guess i will resort to this in a week or so if i dont make any progress haha. How much is their rate and how many days leadtime? Worry ko lang din is makukusot yung envelope

Strong suggestion ko if weeks to go na lang send it by courier kasi at least within the day or next day masesend na yung invitation mo. If you are busy no need to meet them personally, they will understand naman.

Regarding naman sa reservation for the confirmation is that also for the catering? kasi alam ko usually 3 days yung confirmation kapag ganun pwede mo ibahin yung date of confirming.

I don't know other courier ang 2go is 60 pesos each invitation and LBC naman is 80. No worries hindi nila magugusot yung envelope pag-iingatan nila yan.

Thanks mga sis, kakausapin ko si h2b na makialam kami dun sa mga invites ng mama nia tutal kami naman talaga yung gagastos. Hopefully magets din nina mama nya kasi knowing them mejo may pagkamakulit din talaga. Hindi narin na nga namin nireveal kung magkano yung budget namin kahit nagtatanong kasi baka to the highest level pa ang drama.

Hi sis, 60php each parcel within Metro Manila. 90php yata pag provincial. Cool pa kasi door to door. I just schedule for a pick up and they're at my doorstep the following day. kapag within MM natatanggap na within 1-2 days. If provincial around 3-4 days. May online tracking service din.

What you can do to be extra sure na hindi malulukot, buy those jiffylite envelopes. Yung envelopes na parang may built in bubble wrap sa loob. That's what we did.

And yes I believe your guests will understand naman if you can't meet them personally na kasi busy ka na with other things.

Sis rizzie marami rin talagang couples na ganyan yung problem. Kasi hindi rin naman natin masisisi yung parents natin na maraming iinvite. Kami ni h2b may solution na dyan though hindi ko alam kung applicable to sa lahat ng couples. Magkakaron kami 3 receptions. Pero yung 2 simple lang parang piyestahan lang sa province. Hehe. Oo medyo mahirap, magastos at hassle pero gusto kasi namin masunod yung gusto namin ni h2b at the same time parang to pay back na rin sa mga magulang namin by obeying what they want for our wedding. Sa akin lang naman to sis. Share lang.

Hay, extra gastos pa talaga tong mailing... i really had the intention of meeting everyone to hand it over so i didnt even think of this. Last resort nalang. Thing is, the ones i asked for their address so far so i could mail it, want to meet up talaga with me! Hahaha

^i bubble wrap my invitation when I sent it to my Ninong and Ninang. And I spent 80 pesos via LBC.

super stress na mga sis, Dec bride here...(it's a renewal of our vows since we're married in civil na)
it's really hard to please my husband! napaka perfectionist. my p/v team was already done with our STD pero may hinahanap pang effects si husband which for me naman maganda. nahihiya lang ako sa p/v team kasi they have to redo again the video.
And one more thing, i still haven't finalize my invites, I presented many samples but wala shang inapprove... 
He's in other country and will arrive on 23rd of Dec pa..
as of this moment, hindi pa kame naguusap ulit... so stress talaga!!

Why don't you try telling him na invites lang yan, nobody would keep it. They would just get thrown away afterwards so why be so OC about it. At least sa amin ni H2B ganyan thinking, kasi parang nanghihinayang kami sobra gastusan ang invites tapos yun lang naman nga yung kinabukasan nun..

thanks purplepower and monopoly19. no, wala pa ko nirereveal na details. actually naisip ko nga overnight, mas impt sa akin na masunod yung guestlist na gusto namin kahit na magtampo ibang relatives ko. at the end of it all, mas magiging memorable yung wedding kasi kasama namin mga tao na nakawitness talaga sa lives namin as couple. and thank you na rin yun sa kanila since sila naman tumulong sa amin sa while couple pa kami:) regarding naman sa question nila if invited sila, siguro pwede ko pa masagot na wala pa kami ginagawa about the wedding tapos sabay tawa. magtatago na lang siguro ako pag malapit na wedding ko haha=p

First of all bakit hindi na lang siya ang nagpagawa ng video kung nasaan siya? Or bakit hindi siya yung gumawa ng story board then sinabi niya in the first place kung anong effects ang gusto niya. Kung visual pinag-uusapan most of the time mahirap makipagcommunicate ng verbal lang. May mga demands pa pala siya so sana nung una pa lang na anticipate na niya na hindi ganun kadali pag-usapan kung ano ang gusto niyang mangyari. About invitation bakit hindi na lang siya ang gumawa mismo? He should give ideas kung may demands siya.

Matanong ko lang is he a graduate of Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts? or anything about arts? Well aaminin ko na OC rin ako when it comes to visuals pero nililinaw ko naman instruction ko kung ano gusto ko mangyari yet usually ako gumagawa ng designs. Example nung nagpaparty ako I hired photo and videos. Ang naging option ko is purely capture lang wala pang edit kasi gusto ko mai-check yung unedited videos at ako gagawa ng storyboard. Naimbyerna ako sa editing ng videographers hindi ko gusto quality so end point ako na lang ang nag edit ng video. Sa December aasikasuhin ko yung final video so ako mag edit kung may pagagawa ako sa videographer una sa iba ko na pagagawa pangalawa yung mababantayan ko at pangatlo refining na lang ang gagawin.

Regarding again your husband I strongly suggest na huwag puro comment or ang role niya is pang approval lang. Baka mamaya it will end na maging pwede na lang dahil malapit na or worst case hindi na magawa. Perfectionist pala siya so he must have big participation sa kung ano ang gusto niyang mangyari.

  Kaloka parang naisip ko tuloy baka maging client ko yang hubby mo or else I will be creative slave all over again.

Yup sis miky yan din yung plan ng parents ko may reception din sa bahay para dun sa mga relatives, kapitbahay,etc na ndi kasama sa main reception.Ang good thing dun sila na daw yung gagastos sa bahay yun na daw yung tulong nila samin para ndi na kami mamroblema sa gastos, yung sa side nalang ng h2b ko yung issue namin kasi wala naman ako nababalitaan kung anong plan na. kukulitin ko na din siguro si h2b na pangunahan nya na family nya kasi knowing them hindi rin sila kikilos unless mamadaliin mo.

Tama yan! panindigan niyo yung plano niyo. Yung tampo hindi talaga yan maiiwasan. Other people should learn and understand nowadays na kailangan pa rin natin maging practical. Kami nga nangyari na rin sa amin na yung gusto namin invite eh nasakripisyo pa, kaya nga na stress ako nun when my mom forced me to invite the relatives na ayaw ko tapos she is forcing me to give invitation pa. Mabuti na lang nakipagmatigasan ako. Well ang challenging part kasi run is malapit lang sa amin nakatira yung relatives na yun. So garapalan na

I agree not to give details about your wedding on social media, nung nag post ako when I got engaged puro na lang "when's the wedding" ang bungad sa akin when they PM me, I only tell them the month, not the exact date and when asked if invited ba sila at alam kong hindi.. sabi ko na lang hindi pa namin napa finalize ang guest list ni hubby to be. Now that the wedding is fast approaching, ngayon ko naeexperience yung mga kwento niyo, friends asking for plus one sa guest, sinasabi ko na lang we want to limit our guest to people we personally know. Magcut ng guests. Buti na lang ok na parents ko sa desisyon namin sa kasal. Anyway, hoping it will be the same for everyone!

Hi, Sisters -

I am also on the wedding invites "dilemma". My wedding is on the 18th of December but I'll be distributing my invites next week pa lang. You might consider Grab Express in sending. Messenger/delivery service of Grab Taxi sila. I use them with my suppliers and usually gastos is around P80 for short distances. Reliable naman kasi I used them to send phones/gadgets.

Btw - okay lang ba 1 month ang delivery ng invites? Though my Save The Dates and FB invites were sent out in September.

^Sobrang okay na yun sis na yung printed invites will be 1 month before the event. Ginawa ko na rin yan sa party ni baby. Then may STD rin muna para lahat informed agad.

Oh wedding problems. My friend (the one who actually introduced me to H2B) and my future SIL did something "funny" yesterday. Share ko lang.

I researched well for my MUA. I had 4 trial make-ups documented in my blog and social media pages. Yesterday - I had my prenup and sent the 3 looks which Eds Go made for me. It was pretty good (will bloga about this soon). Lo and behold - my future SIL asked me if Eds Go is also my wedding MUA because  she wants to get her to do my makeup for her wedding. Hello? Mababaw pero na off ako. First - I documented it well that Eds Go is my wedding MUA and second she really wants to get her for her? Eds is a very legit wedding MUA. Diba? Ang weird lang. Unnecessary stress for me.

^Eds only does brides nalang daw. I asked kasi if she can do my mom and ninangs and she said no. So you can tell your friend that. Haha.

^ Is that so?  What about kaya pag yung package nya? I got her Duchess package ba yun, yung bride and groom + 5 heads with 2nd look for reception ba yun.  Well, before kasi when I asked her, sabi nya she will be the one doing everybody.  I guess now na may mga assistant na sya she will delegate na lang.
