^^ i think it's really best that they're not getting married because they have a lot of relationship issues they have to iron out.

i hope no one will ever have this kind of problem at their wedding but it's something worth reading - http://offbeatbride.com/2014/07/misbehaving-wedding-guests-abusive-relationships

reading through the comments, i realized that there are so many abusive families in the world and it's just saddening but the people who are abused are fighting back and that's a ray of hope!

I agree sis moizzzelle, better ng hindi nag push tru ang wedding since imo, they have relationship problems. If that happens, sooner or later mapapagod din si G2B. Mas lalo lang magiging magulo ang situation kapag kasal na sila ng they wanted to get out of wedding.

As of now, i am currently having a hard time dealing with friends who request for their "plus 1". fiance and i have talked about it na no +1 ang friends most especially kung di namin kilala ang mga +1boyfriends and girlfriends nila.

but i have this friend who is part of the entourage na gusto talaga kasama yung bf nya na never ko pa na-meet. honestly, natatakot ako na magtampo sya kasi baka di ako siputin sa wedding ko. i have consulted this with DTS before. and she said, not required iinvite kung bf/gf pa lang naman ng mga entourage. so di ko pa rin alam kung hahayaan ko na lang. pero minsan naiisip ko, sayang yung isang seat na pwede pa sana isang close friend ko pa ang nakaupo instead na isang boyfriend ng friend na ni di ko alam ang name :-(

^I think you should explain to your friends na the two of you still wants to accommodate other people such as family and relatives, yet many of your friends were also asking for plus 1 which is also counts and again you are considering other people to invite. I hope they must be considerate too dahil hindi birong usapan ang invites.

Ako nga nun by the time na bf ko pa si hubby nun I told him na okay lang na I won't be invited on his best friend's wedding kasi nga I heard budgeted din sila saka it is not necessary talaga to invite yung mga karelasyon pa lang or not yet married couples. Hindi ko ineexpect na I will be invited and feel ko talaga na I am truly honored with it.

Regarding naman sa relationship nila then your friend should think as well multiple times if they are for each other. Parang kasi sobrang strong ng case ng gf niya.

@moizelle - I am sorry to hear that, but like most of the sisters here, I also do think that it's for the best. I mean, weddings brings the worst in some people, some brides do sometimes turn into bridezillas. But couples still should be able to overcome this. It's called compromise. Married life is full of compromises. It's not about "I" and "me" all the time. Most times it's about making your other half happy, with you being happy as well. If they can't work on it before the marriage even started then what's the point of being married.

Parang sad yet good news naman yun. Sad coz the would have been bride's prolly brokenhearted. But then again if only she'd compromised. Good coz na-realize na ni would have been groom what he's really getting in to. Hoping for the best for both of them.

Hay nako sis, I was in a pickle few weeks ago with a friend because of that. I asked him kasi on how to tell our friend that wala siyang plus one coz ayaw ko sa bf niya. I was like can I tell her budgeted wedding (which is true naman). Our friend thought that I was just making it up & he was like basta ako gusto ko isama bf ko ah. In my mind I was like palit ka ng palit ng bf, malay ko kung sino yan. Tsaka kaya lang kita ni-consider i-invite para may kasama the other friend. But of course I didn't say that. I reiterated nalang that small wedding lang with limited guests.

PROBLEM:
1 month before the wedding we need to change venue. Because of typhoon Lando that hit Baler last month, bumigay yung daan from kabayanan to the resort sa beach front. There's no way we can pass kaya need maghanap ng venue closer to the church at napalaki gastos.
The orig venue only cost 3,500 for 8 hrs (even allow us to extend since wala naman other events)

sa new place is 15,000 for 5 hours. And they require us to include the catering na rin (separate cost) dahil yun ang rule nila.

Mabuti na lang non of them are asking for downpayments kaya madali mag pull-out ng reservation.

Nai-stress ako. With no coordinator and all, feeling ko pasan ko lahat.
Mabuti na lang I have friends na kinasal na before at kino comfort ako everytime I feel bad or stressed sa mga inaayos kong mga bagay sa kasal.

yes he is. since nasa Manila ako, sya nakikipag usap sa mga dapat kausapin dun sa Baler, ako naman taga in charge sa mga material stuff na need asikasuhin from here.

Kaya yan sis moana at least may nahanap ka ng new venue, get help from your friends if you need to sis.  :)

As for us, problems?
3 months before our wedding nagpalit kami ng church dahil sobrang labo kausap nung una namin church, mga taga office hay

Nung isang ara napanaginipan ko nagresign daw yung AE namin so tumawag ako sa office at totoo nga  :'( nag resign nga siya at hinahanap pa ng new AE namin yung contract namin. I'm hoping wala ng maging problema. sana sana lang  :)

roughly 2 months to go and im getting so stressed. i feel like i have so many things to do and so little time to do it. im panicking, i can't sleep, i feel so overwhelmed that sometimes i just cry to myself. at night, i'd stay up late thinking of the things i need to get done during the day. but during the day, im so exhausted from all the thinking i did the night before that i can't do anything properly anymore. its affecting my work and my social life. i throw tantrums at fiance for the littlest of things. its actually annoying that he keeps his calm through all this, im like "why aren't you as stressed as i am? its your wedding too!" i know its my fault because i tend to overthink, i try so hard to get everything done right away and i get very disappointed when things don't go my way. hello, bridezilla?

aside from the wedding, im also planning our honeymoon in europe. its both our first time and we're travelling 1 week after the wedding. so sabay lahat ng planning of itinerary, bookings, visa processing, etc. the approvals for our vacation leaves aren't even finalized yet so there's still a chance we might not go at all.  :'(

so sorry for ranting. i feel like this is the only place i can vent out. not everyone around me understands, sometimes they just say "kaya mo yan, its just a wedding" ugh so annoying. if they only knew.

^sis big hug. Tama sila, maybe have a break from the weddig preps. Do something relaxing like spa day.  Or have a mini getaway.. or just sleep all day. Nakakatawa yung mga guys no? hehe. It's a good thing laging calm so fiance mo. hehe. Best of luck sis. May the force be with you 😉😉

Ganyan din fiance ko. I'm like over here staying up late at night trying to research and read tips and email suppliers and my coordinator and he's sawing logs! Then he reminds me na to take things one at a time, he's helping din naman and paano pa daw kung may pamilya na kami and the kids are driving me up the wall. I'm blessed to have someone who keeps me in check.

Ang observation ko lang, usually mga guys doesn't give any fuss or making it a big deal about wedding preps. Aaminin ko when you are organizing for the event, hindi rin maiiwasan talaga yung stress. What you can do is always have notes, reminders, it can be planner, notebook or anything for you to organize the priorities. If you see your partner as calm and whatsoever you are free and have the power to decide then inform him what did you do para naman hindi siya mabigla. It is a good thing na one of you is doing something then if you are the organizer for the event then feel it like you have the power to decide sa lahat lahat ng bagay and nobody should complain if there was something wrong of if they find something that they don't like.

Madalas din ako mag tantrum attack pag masyado siyang relax tapos sinasabi niya lang I worry too much. Minsan hindi ko na alam kung I really over think or masyado lang siyang complacent. I guess guys are really like that pero pag nakikita naman nila that they have to step in na they do naman so relax lang tayo ladies  ;)
