Na try ko yan for my son's first birthday, medyo effective naman hehe. Umulan pa rin kasi nung araw na yun e pero hindi sobrang lakas and sa umaga lang yata, afternoon yung party. Yun yung may Yolanda eh. Siguro kasi 6 eggs lang offer ko? Hahaha wala kasi one box sa 711 na 1 dozen e, half dozen lang hehe, sa labas naman ng church may mga nagbebenta ng eggs naka ribbon pa nga e.

We also offered our petitions with St. Clare a day before the wedding. It still rained during the wedding, but it was a quick one. Although we weren't able to maximize our venue for the photo shoot, we are nonetheless thankful as we were still able to have an outdoor shoot outside our church. We also believe that the rain shower was God blessing our union

You can offer anytime you want sis. We don't offer eggs though because I'm pretty sure they get a lot of those and I don't know what they do with their overflowing supply. Hehe.

sis, walking distance lang siya kung mag LRT ka. baba LRT Katipunan Station. if from Marikina ka, nasa left side siya, pero if from QC/ cubao ka galing, right side siya makikita.


^sis reese17, nako, hahaha! define 'hands-on mode' muna?  as for me kase, ang ginagawa ko, binibigyan ko siya ng madaming options, siya na bahala kung sino pipiliin then we deliberate. para
may part padin siya. pero mostly, ako paden masusunod. 

or better yet, give him some to do list. baka sakali.

Reese, why don't you "assign" him some tasks? Maybe that will help They honestly think that we don't need their help because when we ask them, i.e., when we ask their opinion on certain things, we still follow what we like so they just let us be. Hehe. 

My husband only went into "hands-on" mode a week before the wedding! He disagreed with me on certain things, but I said I didn't want to bother stressing myself out so close to the wedding. So he took it upon himself to do those tasks. I was happy because a lot of weight was taken off of my shoulders and the husband was satisfied because he accomplished so many tasks that week without me nagging him what to do/how to do it

ece, caleeice -- I would say this is typical male behavior but my friend called me out on it and said I was being sexist. Hahaha! Yes, I used to give him assignments. I travel a lot for work so before each business trip, I email him a list of "to-dos". In fairness to him, he finishes his homework dutifully. I guess I'm expecting him to ask about the wedding from time to time but from the way things are, October is still far away for him.

Planning to remind him (nicely) about his suit, filing leave for we can apply for our marriage license, look for ties for his groomsmen, get contact details of his guest list for our save the dates, get his visa requirements ready... and the list will go on. Baka ma-overwhelm lang. Lol.

me I assigned a couple of suppliers to h2b. those that are not too girly and he can appreciate like the musicians, bridal car, hotel rooms, etc. ang funny nga kasi he was so relieved when he finally closed the deal with one of the suppliers, he was also quite stressed with them, and i was like "now you know".

very good naman pala si groom mo sis eh! as for these, itanong mo nalang when siya available, yung kunyare siya padin masusunod, para mag iisip padin siya. hahaha! by end of September feeling ko pa iyan magtatanong sis! hahaha!

"now you know' dami ko tawa dito sis!  lalo na sa guest list. ngayon palang nasstress na ko to think na January pa wedding. sabi ko din kay h2b, mag start na magsulat ng names para mahaba pa ang time mag isip. sabi nya, matagal pa daw. tapos after few hours, nag sabi, ang hirap pala! kamag anak palang kulang na! hahahaha!

Opposite tayo ng problem sis. My h2b is suuper hands on and mabusisi that it's starting to make me stressed! Things that I have planned before hand, suppliers that I have shortlisted etc lahat isa isa nyang tinitignan tsaka pinupuna that most of the time he'd reject all of them and ask me to find more possible suppliers that would meet his standards! Grabe kaloka! This is partly the reason I want to get a full time coord aside from my health issues. Super OC ni h2b- as in OC to the maximum level! Shocks!

btw, baka magtaka kayo na ako ang naghahanap ng suppliers instead of the two of us. We agreed na since my work requires me to be online most of the time, it's my job to look for suppliers, sort through them, inquire, review them, then the top 3 choices I give to him to be reviewed and subjected for his approval. Feeling ko PA ako ng isang editor haha

im not suggesting this ha pero natatawa lang din ako kay h2b sa kanyang "motivation" today... we usually spend weekends together starting thursday palang... but for several weeks now hindi namin nagagawa because busy na with work and wedding preps...

si h2b since this morning nag te-text and tumatawag naglalambing asking that we spend the weekend together... so sabi ko hindi pwede because may mga suppliers ako na kelangan ko i-meet to iron out the details of the contract... tinanong nya kung sino yung mga suppliers na ito... at lo and behold.. pinag tatatawagan isa isa at yung mga items na dapat idiscuss, sha na mismo nag discuss.. After everything that he has done, naka ngisi pa na parang bata saying na tapos na daw nya gawin and now im free to go and spend the weekend with him  Men!
