Bangkok is a lot safer for females and solo travelers compared to Manila. Nakakapagback pack ako dun without worrying if someone would cut open my bag or pick pocket my stuff. I have tried going out night and nothing, as in no fear. No suspicious tambays and passersby. Their streets are well lit too.
Kiss the cold wind and pass the smile back to me.

Just came back from BKK trip. Maulan sa BKK . Kung hindi sa umaga eh gabi umuulan.  The best time to go BKK is November because of the lantern festival or December.

^ as per google sis
Chiang Mai is the place to be for Loi Krathong (loy kra-tong). Although the Lantern Festival is celebrated everywhere in Thailand, Chiang Mai will have the best (and most famous) views of thousands of lanterns being released into the sky all at once.
It is a light festival (or known as Lantern Festival) in Thailand on the full moon day in November. ... Yi Peng, another light festival, is celebrated on the same day alongside Loy Krathong in Northern Thailand, especially in Chiang Mai. It is different in that lights are placed into sky lanterns.

Was in BKK last Nov 25-29, stayed at Baiyoke Sky Hotel in the Pratunam area. Kung shopping ang hanap mo, this is the best location I think. Sobrang crowded lang talaga, even the hotel is always crowded kasi may viewing deck sila sa top floor na pinupuntahan talaga ng mga nag totour sa city.

^hindi lahat ng spots may wifi. You can also buy a local sim card na may data, they have that sa airport, for me convenient sya lalo na sa pagbook ng grab (though be careful sa grab kasi illegal yung service dun so hindi sila basta basta nagpipick up anywhere lalo na along major roads or establishment).

^Illegal? I doubt it. November nasa Thailand kami and halos Grab/Uber kami don. They even pick us sa hotel, mall and along BTS station.
