^ sa Suvarnabhumi usually lumalapag sis. pero magkalapit lang naman sila. But I prefer yung BKK kasi may airport link sa baba

What to buy here in BKK? Sa Big C ako mag last minute pasalubong shopping.

Hindi ako nakapagstreet foods and foodtrip ganyan. Yung son ko, nag stomach ache (lbm) nung 2nd day pa lang namin. (Monday) Pero same naman kami medyo ng kinain sa MBK food court. Chicken at yung parang halo halo nila with coconut milk. Tapos sya lang nag chicken from Mcdo. Hindi nya tuloy maenjoy dito. Lagi umuuwi. Takot na tuloy ako magtry kumain. Yun pa naman pinaplano ko gawin, magstreet foods.

Hindi din sya tumuloy sa Sea Life namin. Umuwi na pagdating pa lang namin ng Siam Paragon.

Anyway, kanina nag Grand Palace kami. I know nga na bawal ang shorts, dapat pants. Hindi ko alam bawal ripped jeans! Haha kami pa pareho ng son ko. So bumili pa kami sa loob. Tapos sobrang init kasi tanghali na kami dumating. Bilis lang tuloy namin. Laki din ng fee 500 baht.

Hi mga sis, just a question. Finally nakakuha ako ng seatsale to BKK, but the problem is yung sked na pinagpilian ko is either two days lang or five days. Cannot miss work kasi for five days, so I reserved the two days na lang. Do you think sulit naman kahit two days only, or masyadong bitin? I'm thinking of not pushing through na lang if ever and schedule it some other time when I'm able to book at least three days. Flight leaves manila ng 5:30 AM on a thursday, and then we leave BKK ng 9:35 AM on saturday.

Oh wait, nakakita pala ako ng 2 days lang din ang itinerary in the first few pages.  But if you have any tips or suggestions for my very short stay, that would be great. First timer kasi sa BKK.

Kaya naman ang 2 days. But bitin! I did two days before and wala rin ako masyado nagawa except shopping. hehe

Hehe, thanks for the input. Oo nga eh. Sa first day lang yata ako makakapagshopping and food tripping.  Puro mga temples siguro pupuntahan namin on the second day, sabi ng kasama ko hinding hindi daw kami aalis ng BKK nang hindi napuputahan yung mga yun, LOL.

Going to be back in Bangkok for the first time in over 15 years hahahaha 13 years old ako last time I went there (I had super high fever sa init) Medyo bad experience so was reluctant to book this trip. Pero nabook ko na lol 7200 for 3 pax via Cebpac, not a bad deal na.

Dami kong sinabi hahaha tanong ko lang, where is the best place to stay? Siam, Sukhumvit area, Silom? Or any other suggestions? Medyo nashushunga pa ako sa research.

Also, we're staying there for 6 days, okay ba to do a side trip to Cambodia? Or medyo gipit sa oras?

Sobrang bitin nya, we were there for 5 nights and bitin p din hehe. But since nabook mo na, make the most out of it na lang, wag ka na lang muna lumabas ng city siguro sa mga nearby attractions k n lang and food trip.

Ako naman after 6 yrs. Lol. Puspusang pagreresearch ng iti ginawa ko dahil 2 cousins ko kasama ko and first time nila mag out of the country kaya dapat talagang sulot ang pagpunta.

Sa may Ratchathewi kami nakapag book through airbnb (walkimg distance sa BTS and MBK), 6 days 7 nights name nung hostel. Around 600php per night pero with discount ni airbnb. Ok din sa Silom madaming cheap na hostel, sa Take a Nap hostel kami before. Since di kami comfortable sa shared toilet, talagang naghanap kami ng cheap at may private toilet and bath.

Binalak din namin mag sidetrip ng Cambodia pero di kakayanin ng 5 days namin kasi bkk parin fly out namin. Kaya next time nalang. 😉

For foodtrip psiguro sa Chinatown? Pero tourist area sya eh. Malapit kasi kami sa Phetchaburi soi 5 kaya dun kami mag foodtrip ng streetfoods.

Great deal na yung nakuha mong flight. Same month magtravel din kami ng mama ko. Nakuha ko for 2500 ata roundtrip south korea. Pero [textspeak!] BKK ko sa May na. Share ko dito yung mga happenings.lol

Oo nga, try mo Dusit Thani (gusto ko talaga yung scent ng lemon grass nila.lol) or sofitel. Madami pa ko nakitang nice and affordable sa pinterest. 😊

Oo nga eh, kami rin ayutthaya nalang. Haha!

Has anyone here experienced songkran festival? Looks like our travel date will fall into these dates and we do not want to get wet. Kahit saan ba nagbabasaan or may specific places lang? We?re staying in pratunam area but will go around the city kaya medyo worried kami sa splashing of water. I?m with my mom pa naman who?s 65 yrs old na and a kid.

Husband and I are still choosing between Japan and Thailand for our annual vacation this July, each has its own distinct charm, amazing people, picturesque spots/views and most of all delectable cuisines to sink our teeth into (literally) haha! Haven't been there, transit lang and wow ganda ng Airport, pero my BFF visited Thailand several times (lagpas 5 x na ata) dun usually jump off nya sa mga major travels nya like Europe etc and she fell in love with its provinces like Chiang Mai.  I know Japan is "Japan" but I cant seem to disregard Thailand's inviting local vibe as well. Lalo na VUA tayo don, whereas sa Japan mag apply pa kami ng visa dito sa Qatar.

^di pa ako nakavisit ng Japan, isa rin sa bucket list ko ito. Pero sa Thailand 2x na ako nakarating and I still want to visit. Good thing about Thailand its cheap, from food, accommodation and shopping.

It is a must to visit the two countries, Bangkok and Japan. It's just a matter of which country to visit first Been to these two countries and fell inlove more to Japan (of course it's a first world country). You cannot compare the two but if you have a tight budget, better to visit Thailand first.

Natapos ko na basahin itong thread, gumagawa kasi ko ng itinerary. May list na ko ng places pero hindi ko naman alam paano puntahan.  May app din ba sa Thailand like sa SG or Japan na pwede ko gamitin para alam ko kung paano makarating from Sukhumvit?

Safe din ba magtravel with kid, first time namin ng anak ko sa BKK. Since bata kasama ko, puro pambata pupuntahan namin. Pafeedback naman sa place...

Day 1 Chocolate Ville - Lunch time kasi arrival namin so baka hindi na kami umabot sa Grand Palace na 3PM.
Day 2 Sea Life Ocean World
Day 3 Kidzania Bangkok
Day 4 Safari World
Day 5 Dinosaur Planet
Day 6 Grand Palace - kung 1PM flight namin, pwede kaya kami sumaglit sa Grand Palace? Ayaw kasi ng temples ng anak ko pero syempre gusto ko makita kahit papano. hehe!

May nabasa ko sa thread na dinner cruise, san kayo nagbook?
Madali lang ba icommute ang IKEA Bangna?
