^^ oh, i suggest wag i-declare ni ate na government employee siya. Big big mistake ng papa ko na dineclare niyang provincial engineer siya sa province namin, ayun ang daming hininging documents like travel order, leave certificate and daming diskusyon with the immigration officer pero in the end pinalusot di naman siya. to think na ang dami naming aalis nun, buong family. since kakagraduate mo lang, sabihin mo na lang na gift sa inyo ng parentals ang travel niyo to BKK.

Hi sis! They won't know naman that you're a first time traveler unless you declare it and if they ask.  I was asked that before coz I just renewed my passport and wala pang stamp. Sabi ko lang, "No." Walang ibang detail hehe.

Be confident lang kapag kinausap ka ng immigration officer. Marami din tanong sa sister ko kasi first travel niya abroad (no stamps).  They asked her the ff:
1. Where do you work? What is your position?
2. Where will you stay in Bangkok?
3. When is your return date?
4. What is your purpose of travel?

Hi! Share ko lang. Hindi ako first time traveller pero freelancer ako. Nung nag-punta ako Bangkok mag-isa,  DIY lang rin. Medyo strict yung IO na natapatan ko. Ano daw work ko as freelancer. Nung sinabi kong online, she wanted to check my profile pa, ayun pina logged-in ako.
 
(OT) Nung first solo travel ko sa Malaysia, sobrang bilis lang. Tinanong lang sakin kung ilang days ako mag-stay. Inaabot ko pa nga yung old passport ko pero hindi na daw.

RE SIM Card:
DTAC tourist sim binili ko, sa airport rin, 299 Baht, 7 days unli internet saka 100 Baht na call credit (Pero hindi ko naman nagamit, hehe).

sis if I may suggest lang, mas better kung USD ang dala mo. then USD to THB mas malaki ang exchange rate. madaming magandang palitan sa may pratunam kaso i forgot yung name (sorry not so helpful  )

madalas kami mag papalit sa The Best Exchange sa Pratunam area din tapat ng 7-11 yun color yellow yung place nila..pero if you can find SuperRich okay din dun.

sis if I may suggest lang, mas better kung USD ang dala mo. then USD to THB mas malaki ang exchange rate. madaming magandang palitan sa may pratunam kaso i forgot yung name (sorry not so helpful  )

Agree ako dito. Nagpapalit muna ako sa USD dito tapos pagdating sa Thaialnd USD to Baht. Medyo malaki kasi difference kapag nagpaconvert ka from Peso to Baht.

Girls, anyone here na nakapag DIY ng Damnoen Saduak floating market? Plan ko kasi bumalik ng Bangkok with parents na mga seniors.  Plan ko mag hire ng private car. Nabasa ko ang mahal nung long tail boat. Pwede ko bang i-request sa driver na dun mismo sa market kung saan sasakay ng paddle boat nya kami ibaba? or kelangan talaga mag long-tail boat? TIA
