It'll be our first time in Bangkok! My husband and I will be there from July 2-5 for the Thailand leg of our SEA trip.

We'll be staying at KC Place in Pratunam. So excited! Sticky rice with mango is my absolute fave so I plan on stuffing my face with that everyday. Hehe.

Hopefully matuloy business trip ni hubby sa bkk sa Aug/Sept, para sama kami ni baby. First time for my baby to go to Bangkok, one of my favorite SEA cities!

anyway, ano kaya magandang isabay sa itinerary namin for chocoville, except for temples tours. Will be arriving at 9am sa Bangkok. Any ideas din po san masarap kumain. Hehe. Thank you! 😊

Hi! Planning to go to BKK in August. We're a party of 4. Is it possible to get one hotel room big enough for the 4 of us? Might be cheaper than getting 2 rooms with single beds. Any recommendations?

^Okay naman hotels2thailand sis. Doon ako nagpabooked ng dinner buffet namin for Baiyoke Sky Hotel. Para sakin hindi rin naman sya ganon ka mura, maliit lang din difference compare sa mismong hotel ka magpabooked. May mga hotels din ako nakita before na nag ooffer ng free city tour if more than 2 nights ka magstay sa kanila.

Pede kayo mag mall hopping before going to chocoville.

Kasama to sa iti namin kaso di na namin napuntahan kasi nagipit na kami sa oras. Going to chocoville, pede rin mag MRT to Lat Phrao tapos doon na lang kayo sakay ng taxi mas malapit na lang. It will be helpful din na magdala ng map going to chocoville, may mga driver kasi na di alam papunta ng chocoville.

San masarap kumain? Nong stay namin sa mga street food lang kami kumakain at sa Terminal 21, masarap naman mura pa. Sabi nila kung saan daw maraming local na kumakain, doon masarap ang mga pagkain.

Kung sakaling pupunta kayo ng Terminal 21 for photo op pede nyo sya isabay. Katabi lang ng Terminal 21 ang BTS Asok na connected na sa MRT Sukhumvit Station from there pede na kayo sumakay papuntang Lat Phrao.

Pero kung marami naman kayo sis, pede na rin ang taxi going to chocoville.

Actually sis krisel dalawa lang kami. Saan kaya kami mas makakamura when it comes to transpo going to chocoville. Taxi kaya or yung magMRT na lang to lat phrao then doon na sasakay ng cab

And ano pala maganda or masarap na ipasalubong? Hehe. Thankyou! 😊

^mapapamahal ata kayo sis kung 2 lang kayo. According to sis bagaholic_chewy (noong ako pa ang nagtatanong sa kanya ng way papuntang chocoville ) nasa 250-300 baht ang singil ng taxi from city. Kung mag MRT naman kayo tapos cab sa Lat Phrao nabasa ko sa isang blog nasa 150baht daw singil sa kanila to chocoville. Pagpabalik nyo city sis, mag abang kayo ng makakasabay pabalik tapos share na lang kayo sa taxi fare, sigurado kontratahin kayo ng driver pabalik, 400-600 baht.

http://www.transitbangkok.com/mrt.html pede mo macheck fares nyo dito sis. Kung sakaling manggaling kayo ng Asok station-Lat Phrao, 31baht each ang fare.

Sa pasalubong, di kita mabigyan ng advice sis, di kasi ako mahilig mamili ng pasalubong haha! ref magnet lang ata nabili ko pasalubong noon

Home from BKK yesterday and i miss Bangkok already 😔

A must-go-place ang Chocolate Ville and you should never miss going on a dinner cruise when you guys visit BKK! 😊

^super enjoy sis. Kaso bitin ang 3 days lang. Hehe. Bale we availed a tour kasi for BKK. Dahil may kasama kaming 3 persons sa tour, yung tourist guide namin nagoffer na bayaran nalang namin yung van for 1200baht. Balikan na yun 😊 malayo nga lang pero super worth it puntahan. Dun na rin kami nagdinner, okay naman ang food. Masarap. 👍

We just got back from Bangkok last Sunday. It was the last leg of our trip kaya pagod na rin and we didn't get to enjoy/explore Bangkok that much. Sayang talaga. I'm already plan on going back but next time without the hubby. Hehe. Itataon ko ulit on a weekend para maexplore ulit ang JJ.

We were only in Bangkok for 2 whole days and the first day was spent touring the temples. Actually halos half day lang yun kasi after lunch na kami nagstart dahil sa init at dahil pagod pa kami from our Siem Reap trip. The second day was spent in JJ market, trying out the food at Terminal 21, dropping by at Platinum mall and Pratunam market then checking out Talad Rod Fai in Ratchada. We could've gone to the one in Srinakarin but we were just too tired from the heat and all the walking.

Kapagod! But I super enjoyed JJ market kahit super init. Sayang at hindi ko masyado nakarir ang street food, fruit stalls at sticky rice with mango. Lagi kasi kami on the go o kaya pagod sa kakalakad.

One thing na nainis lang ako sa Bangkok ay yung malakas mangontrata na mga taxi driver. From Pratunam, nagtaxi nalang kami going to Ratchada at 150 baht agad ang singil. Late night na yun at halos walang traffic. Feeling ko less than 100 lang talaga kung naka-metro. Pero dahil we were too tired to argue and bargain, pinatulan na namin. Pabalik sa hotel namin sa Pratunam, ganun ulit. Parang hindi naman ganun kalakas mangontrata taxi drivers sa atin lalo na kung late night naman at wala ng traffic. Ok lang ba to ride a tuktuk in BKK? Sa mga nag-aalok sa amin, the going rate was 50 baht. Ok na ba yun?

^^bale 240 baht each kayo sis? Pede na, balikan pa! What time kayo pumunta ng Chocoville sis? Talaga bang 4pm ang open ng park or yong restaurant 'yon?

^JJ market ito ba yong sa Chatuchak sis? Hindi ba same lang ang stalls dito saka sa Talad Rot Fai?

Talad Rod Fai! Isa pa ito sa di namin naexperience, actually napuntahan namin kaso walang night market and food stalls kasi wednesday night kami pumunta, sabi sa website nila tuesday-sunday night open sila di naman pala, bumyahe pa kami from lumphini para lang dito, haha! Gustong gusto ko pa naman makita yong mga vintage shops nila.

Init at pagod din ang kalaban namin non, kaya di rin kami masyado nakalibot tapos puro lakad at mrt/bts pa kami. Maganda siguro mag gala sa BKK pag ber months na di na siguro ganun katindi ang init sa kanila.

Chocoville at Talad Rot Fai ang babalikan ko sa BKK!

mga sis can you recommend a clean budget hotel near BTS..will be there next week July 22-26..pls..
