when your student becomes an Anakin...its your responsibility. and undoing problems is much harder than the energy released in creating problems.

iba talaga klase pag lumaki ego ng tinuturuan mo. wisdom doesnt come right away
...and many students, nakakain lang ng konti, naka meditate lang ng 1-2 years, nakabasa ng iilang libro, pag lumaki ulo, kala mo kung sino.

Ahthung, how does one control the ego? How do we ensure that we don't fall into the trap of being "all-knowing"? Chaka part of me also wants to understand how do you control envy/inggit? Pakiramdam ko much of the issues and unhappiness of people come from ego and envy, including myself.  :-[

mahirap talaga yan. sabi nga nila, the spiritual path is like walking on a razor's edge. napaka thin na nga ng edge, sugatan ka pa while trying to maintain balance.

some of the things people do:

1. character building.
2. the practice of meditation to expand the mind's capability of handling abstract concepts
3. life of moderation
4. service
5. introspection (daily)
6. feedback from fellow practitioners
7. reading spiritual books (ie. books about illusion, glamour, maya, samskaras etc)
8. discussion with friends

* mahalaga yung meditation because spiritual truths are abstract, kelangan natin ng mind na kaya maka process ng abstract principles para makarating tayo sa best solution or behavior (or behavior modification).

one good way is to serve a master. LOL

master mismo babanat sa iyo. one common occurrence is kaka join pa lang ng aspirant sa school, nagkakaproblema na sya makirelate dahil may kakaibang pananaw at ugali siya.

but serving a master is not for everyone i guess....

Akthung what do you mean by character building? Pano sya ginagawa? And when you serve a master how does thhat happen? Do you choose a master or does the master choose you? Sorry po if madaming tanong or makulit, im just very interested. All in all I really want to be a better version of myself for me and my child and be closer God.

Eh feelinh ko etong mga nababasa ko na sinasabi nyo bi sir CH and also the other GTalkers will help me achieve that betterment. :)

to answer your question:

Background

with a little backread, i mentioned not too many pages ago about Salvation / full enlightenment, and cosmic evolution.

what many religions and beliefs promise is that if you do well, you'll be saved / reach full enlightenment.

what they mean by "saved" is that you are "saved" from the cycle of death and rebirth. in eastern thought you reach this when you achieve the Arhat level. Esoteric wise this is the 4th Initiation. also known as the Crucifixion. J.Christ reached this level kasi when he was crucified.

esoteric literature says that when a certain part of the human energetic anatomy becomes fully filled with light, he does not need to reincarnate. kaya tingin ko, eto ang sinasabi nilang full en-light-enment. napuno na kasi ng ilaw yung parte na yun. complete na.  this also happens when personality merges fully with the Soul. it takes many many lives. it also has to do with the causal body and egoic center.

Saints are highly evolved human beings that is one level below the 4th level. most of us wala pa sa level 1.

so ano ba ang Master?

sa pag kakaintindi ko, ang Master ay yung taong naka achieve na ng 4th level -- kahit ano mang belief system. iisa lang naman yun at tao lang nagpapagulo.

but these days, the title is used to denote someone's mastery over certain disciplines. ie martial arts or a particular healing system.

Real Masters are highly clairvoyant. they can see the disciples past lives. thus they he can specifically train a student according to his/her karmic condition.

example.
in one school i frequented noon, madami silang books. nang makita ko isang member na nag hiram ng libro. sinubukan ko humiram. hindi ako pinayagan. hindi daw pwede

then later, may nakita ako nag balik ng mga libro. so i tried to borrow again. hindi daw pwede.

so i asked the teacher why. then i learned that i needed to give more.  kaya mas lalo akong ginanahan bumili ng libro.  eventually i was allowed to read the books in the center. so ginawa ko nag dedicate ako ng oras. medyo humbling din in away, kasi nakikita ko iba nakakahiram at ako hindi. hehe but hindi ako nag balat sibuyas or nagtampo. sige lang ng sige.

example #2

lets say impatient ka. when you deal with the teacher, he will make you wait.  magtataka ka bakit sa iba bilis bilis, pero sa iyo hindi. dati i asked if the Master can bless my crystal. i waited for HOURS. lol. but when he finally received me, he said, "i blessed and programmed your crystal to the best of my abilities and the best of my knowledge." he programmed it to last for more than a decade which was a shock to the other disciples sabi daw hindi niya normally ginagawa yun.

example #3

if mainitin ang ulo mo. ilalagay ka sa situations na itetest ang ulo mo. tee hee!.

trust me, marami lumalagpak.

*****

if you get to find a genuine teacher. talagang go for it. be strong. huwag yung kaka start mo lang sa group padadala ka na sa maliliit na issues and short comings. tapos mag quit. sabay chismiss about what you didn't like.  in reality, if its about what you didnt like, then its about maintaining who you are. gusto mo lang nasa comfort zone mo. then hindi ka talaga mag grow. same banana ka pa din.

*****

sometimes okay lang din na hindi pa master ang ma meet mo, pero meron siyang right teachings. usually it means -- start meditating so your light will grow. and when it does, your master will be able to see you. yun lang yun. or yung information on your next step comes in. so don't skimp out on meditation/prayer practices. buti nga ngayon, sa entry level binibigay na lang in the sense na you just have to make a small donation or they come at a small purchase price. noon, you have to show the teacher you are deserving of being taught. its similar to washing sushi rice for 7 years bago ka kunin ng japanese master chef. minsan iisipin mo, what's 1,000 pesos compara sa evolution mo?

ask yourselves, what's the price of ignorance?

*****

virtues are usually the codes given in every belief system like the 10 commandments, or being able perceive and expressing things correctly and accurately, non-lying and honesty, non-stealing and generosity etc etc.

you know, yung mga inaccurate perception, stealing, etc etc...may mga elementals din mga yun. they stick to the chakras. so in higher meditations you deal with getting rid of those.

*Note:

when you see the name, example lang, Master Juan Dela Cruz.

It means that you are recognizing the Soul behind the personality of Juan Dela Cruz. It is a way of not identifying yourself with the body, but the one behind the body. yun naman ang totoo. in the same way, the real student ay yung soul natin and not the body.

to contrast naman, in say, a martial arts setting, the title master would denote that the individual has mastered the basics.

its the same with healing, cooking and the likes.

****

sino man yung tatlong kinuha ni Sir CH. maswerte kayo. never give up! don't throw away the pearls that will be given to you.

as for the rest, i think marami sa inyo ready na mag level up. show it. no fear!

maswerte nga kayo cuz real FS ang nakita niyo agad. sa forums pa. tee hee!

yung iba dami na binabayad sa kung ano ano at kung sino sino, hindi pa mahanap hanap yung totoo.

tamang tama yung tanong mo sis. eto may free lecture about the importance of a teacher:

This Special Full Moon meditation Commemorates what Indians reverently call Guru Poornima. This is a special time to honor and offer gratitude to our Spiritual Teacher.

Master Co discusses the role of the Spiritual Teacher in a spiritual practitioner's life. He shares GrandMaster Choa's Universal Teachings including  the Indian (Guru), Chinese (Sifu), Japanese (Sensei) and Jewish (Rabi) traditions.

Master Co shares the importance of the Spiritual Teacher's role to help us find ourInner Light to Illuminate Our Path towards Oneness with God and Oneness with All.

You will be guided in a very short but solemn meditation to reflect on the Blessings and Benefits we have received from our Spiritual Teacher. Then we will practice the Meditation On Twin Hearts to manifest the Loving Aspect of God within us to invoke Blessings for every person and every being with Divine Light, Love and Power.

We will also channel these Blessings to our individual families, relationships and our finances.

"These three things are hard to obtain, and are attained only by the Grace of God - birth as a Human Being, the desire for liberation, and finding refuge with a Great Teacher."

- Adi Sankaracharya in Viveka Chudamani

glad you liked it. sometimes we also tend to try to simplify things for ourselves. para easy to remember and at the same time it tests your mastery of the subject, as opposed to post ng quotes and quotes....minsan nahahasa din dahil maraming nagtatanong at isa yun sa laging tinatanong.

just to add to my previous post,

since the spiritual master is one who has accomplished ---someone who has transcended the cycle or birth and rebirth, then to some the title of Master also means "one who has Mastered life"

achieving the 4th level is not the end game. in fact some see it as the beginning of cosmic evolution -- the journey back to supreme source of all life.

many of them, JC, Buddha, etc still had a couple of incarnations after their respective famous lives.
they either incarnated here in this earth or in another planet similar to earth until they reach the 7th. hindi ba may na discover recently parang hawig ng earth? so ayun.

Sr CH and Akthung - question po.

I did the twin hearts meditation just now and afterwards po I felt so tired and exhuasted. Normal po ba yun. Tapos after I did it, there was a time na parang may na-feel/nakita (i dunno how since my eyes were closed) na parang dark shadows trying to envelope me, so nagpanic po ako kaya bigla akong nagdasal then after than naman naging bright sya as in super clear and aliwalas parang yung feeling na nasa ilalim ka ng operating table na sobrang daming lights na naka-tutok sayo.

Normal po ba to lahat or imaginition ko lang ba yun?

that's your inner fear. the fear of doing something you have not yet done before and that is out of your religious upbringing.

i've been there. normal religions have ingrained so much superstition in us that we're scared of things we can't understand. the goal of real spiritual practice is dispel all of those. it is after all the prayer of st francis of assisi.

twin hearts is one of the most advanced meditations in the world. the down pouring of light is tremendous. i had done twin hearts before in front of a powerful clairvoyant healer....sa sobrang lakas ng ibaba ng ilaw, hindi na ako makita.

sometimes people feel weak but its because the energy was so strong.  however in your case i think your inner fear was so strong it shrank your chakras and thats why you felt weak.

Hi, mga sis.

Sorry for the late reply as was unwell the past week and prior to that was pushing myself past my limits trying to help a friend and her daughter (not to mention other weird cases.)

Ghost Month is just a few days away.  From noon of August 13 to noon of September 13 ang coverage.  Hope you all started doing good deeds dahil walang last minute remedy.

Hi, hyder0926.

Reflective surfaces inside our place lalong lalo na sa bedroom is really bad.  Such can retain or even magnify the luck present.  Pwede rin kasi to act as a portal to the twilight zone.

Sa 4 Sundays of this November erratic yun energies mostly lalo na on the day before it - yun mga Saturdays.  I strongly suggest you advise him to simply relax sa Saturdays.  Maybe a light review and that's it.

One trick you can advise him to use is to use scents.  Pick a certain scent only for that lesson and not to use it only sa exam.  Maka-help to recall yun review.  I repeat - dapat may review para may ma-recall na ni-review ha.  Hindi uubra yun matutulog lang with the book under one's head.  Ha ha.  I did that before pero walang nangyari save a stiff neck :P

May friends ako who studied near Intramuros kasi for their bar exams.  Marami silang weird stories kaya kung ganun ang setting for the final review ay just remind him to do prayers.  Malakas maka-distract yun ganun kasi.

Encourage mo rin siya na start of the day and end of the day ay do some exercises.  Kahit warm ups and cool downs lang.  With how erratic energies would be come those weekends sa November ay dapat lang we become more able to release bad energy to get things done.

Hi, itt.

The only time you are to use a cactus inside your room is if its uber grabe na.  I would rather people opt for prayers and regular cleansing kasi mas maka-help iyon.

One way to balance things is to unburden ourselves first.  This is why I often suggest yun Sacrament of Confession.  And do the penance prescribed rin!  In some cases it can be charity work - just as how I often encourage you folks to do in return for whatever you gain from the shared wisdom here.

Hi, purple tips.

Yup.  Very true iyang strong prayers in special places.  Actually our late guru friend was the one who showed me that.  Na special places ibang level talaga kapag doon ka gumawa ng prayers mo.  Even souls seeking release go to Padre Pio :)

Hi, sweet cherry.

For next year it would be more of what akthung is pointing out: what's the price of ignorance.

Hi, blue4hire.

You have one odd handle.

Consulting with tarot readers isn't really bad.  Its just one form of deciphering the strange clues about the past and future.  The real questions are ay tunay ba yun reader and what are you going to do with the information.  Some tend to opt to do weird rituals kasi na hindi nila naiintindihan.  Then there are those easily misled rin.

Take note ang tarot reader tao rin.  May times na okay siya and may times rin na hindi.

FYI.  Hindi naman tulad sa casino na madadaan mo sa card counting ang tarot.  Nor is it practical to cheat the cards just so good results appear.

If its a sin or not ay that's a different thing.  What I do know the Church frowns on it - but its a totally different topic na sobrang OT na here.

Hi, kaiz.

Red is warning of temper but dark red which I believe maroon is ay unexpected good news.  Dogs sa dream as long mabait sa iyo means this good news will be brought by a friend, mentor or such.

Hi, apple99.

The red paper and rice pouch is used for situations that require correcting a malas na place.  Usually I prescribe this sa situations na may unexplainable situations na.  The first cut I shared here was the 2x7 inch na red japanese paper.  You draw either a zigzag design or a large black dot sa middle depending sa situation.  The red pouch na may rice is simply made from a clean piece of red cloth na may bigas sa loob.  Its tied to the door or window.

The other cut I shared na here is 1.5x8 inch.  This is only to be opted for by those whom I've prescribed the 2x7 and it hasn't made any felt changes lately.

Ref facing the door.  Why is  it that some of you folks make your life harder.  I told you naman na a doormat would suffice in most cases.  If you feel the need to add more than just that then a wooden table placed between the door and ref would do.  You can also mitigate the effects by addressing the chi entering that said door by plants, cleansing regularly the area, etc.

If you move the ref pa maaring it  may be far from the socket pa and hindi rin tama ang air circulation.  Remember, feng shui means adapt not stick to just what is written.

FYI.  Bago makarating ang energy sa ref mo  ay syempre it has to flow from somewhere.  If naman no choice na dahil walang budget then we have the prayers.  You attack the problem from various angles and not just one :)

Oven next to ref.  Most likely cramped na ang space.  We can't do much about that but you do know that microwave cooks food by radiation.  Mas worry ko yun you rely more on microwaved food than the placement itself.

Having the toaster close to the microwave is no issue as most likely you place it elsewhere or use it only when needed.  And kung yun effects sa ref is already bad ay you would be asking me about a whole different set of questions.  Hence the arrangement you have has not yet saturated your place ng malas if that is what you fear.

FYI.  Mas better you cook using the toaster though just make sure don't eat the burned parts.

Sa plants its quite tricky.  Unang una dapat like ninyo talaga and find time to care for it.  Sa aunt ko kasi she feared this certain plant dahil rumor has it that dwarves dwell in it.  Gusto niya papatay.  It was a good thing we came in time and told her personally not to do so.  Dahil katatapos lang ni uncle getting over sa isang big mistake and ito na naman si auntie na naman.

Plants are pets too.  Dapat like mo at mahalin mo.  Kung you feel not up to the task for the long haul better huwag na lang.

Ideal na combo depende kasi talaga sa situation.  Some cases ko okay lang anything they want - as long as practical at hindi naman illegal.  Sa iba naman dahil may supernatural threat then you have iyang may mga tinik.  Sampaguita would also be nice to have pero some are allergic to it kasi :(

In a way go for your gut feel muna.  Start with a few lang muna.  No need to overwhelm yourself agad.  That way you can slowly design your garden too.  Kasi reflection rin iyan ng inner you.  Its really an art too kasi.  It may be a simple layout with simple plants but if it gives you peace and expresses the warmth and joy you feel ay go for it.

Notice mo rin kapag mas maraming plants mas relaxing and mas feeling abundant.  If a place is so barren hindi ba we feel it to be malas.  Apply this sa urban design at present and hindi ka na magtataka why things are so.

Sa indoor plants as long as it can survive indoors and has no flowers ay pwede.  Once may flowers na you have to move it out.  If its your bedroom ay that is something you have  to think about really well first.

Bedroom kasi is where our health and relationship energies are balanced.  Kung sa office ito that means the life of the company - the people.  This is why you rarely read na may i-prescribe ako na plant inside a bedroom.  Usually its sa window area.

Hi, obri.

Usually I try to avoid commenting on what others "share."  What I'll do na lang is to express my opinion ha dahil this is about a period na now being made familiar to many.  Back then you rarely hear or read this.

Ghost Month is a period wherein the damned are let loose to do havoc in our world.  Pero hindi naman exactly GM lang sila lalabas.  They can be roaming even earlier than that and continue to wander kahit tapos na ang GM.

Water is a powerful element.  It can be for good o bad.  It simply warns us to be more alert more so tuwing GM weird things happen.  This is why more would err sa side ng caution.  Its a wise move rin naman hindi ba.

When it comes to activities mas ideal talaga one does not take risks muna.  This is like yun kasabihan na kapag nagkasugat o nagkasakit ka during Holy Week mas matagal gumaling.  What I do know for certain ay kapag holy week lalo na kapag Good Friday and Black Saturday ay mas grabe accidents if it does happen.

Talking of the dead.  May it be GM or not they are around us.  The question you really need to ask is are they feeding on you due to what you emit.

I really try to tell everyone not to set special events during GM kasi per experience talagang minamalas.  However, that is more of me erring sa side of caution.

Ghost Month means the damned are out but that also means its the time we can save them.  Part one yun having you folks do good deeds.  Another yun giving respect to your elders and ancestors.  The charity work na pinagagawa ko sa inyo as TY here is the 3rd.

However, there are some situations that that may not be avoided.  This is the reason why critical the event is blessed and done in a solemn manner.  Sana rin simple rin lang.

The thing to remember kapag Ghost Month ay time for reflection, moderation and renewal rin.  Na gusto mo ba balang araw isa ka rin sa damned souls wandering the earth or not.

Hi, cldy 1981.

True yun mga sinabi ni akthung :)  Its going to be my responsibility when my students go astray.  In a way ay parang mga kids ko sila whom I have to watch over even if they are no longer with me.  This is the reason rin why I never took on students before.  Dati I almost had but circumstances forced it to be canceled.  Okay lang with me though syempre sad rin.

Later on sa events ko I actually was teaching folks basic stuff.  Pero syempre iba yun formal student and sa talagang class ang atmosphere.

The 3 I picked all gifted iyon pero like me noon looking for direction and guidance.  Admittedly masyadong old school ang dating ko.  You have to be worthy before I would even bother to consider you as a student.

Kaya critical rin yun to take time ay dahil you have to experience that feeling of balancing mga wants sa needs.  Not sure if I put that in the proper words.  Kasi mayroon yun feeling mo kaya mo naman but can you handle the responsibility.   Dahil knowledge is power and power can corrupt.

Yun nasabi ni akthung about your reaction sa twin hearts is very true.  Pero once you get the basics right ay iba na ang feeling mo :)

FYI.  Back then hindi ko talaga na-tripan such method of healing as was more in tune sa different but when I opened and viewed yun isang video - the talk one actually - iba yun chi level ng master.  I rarely if ever tell folks to watch such and when I do ay dahil may reason iyon.  Gusto ko lang kasi ma-discover ninyo on your own rather than depend on my words lang for it.  Iba kasi  yun feeling na kayo mismo na-experience ninyo yun :)  For some reason kasi mas na-feel ko o like ko to watch that talk video more.
