Ang laki 100k a month, okay na ata sakin 40k a month provided wala na akong bayarin at sarili ko lang iniintindi ko. But of course the bigger the better.

Cannot find any na matino.. Also, you need to factor in inflation rate.

nabasa ko lang sa "12 Steps to Build Wealth on Any Income"
A. Estimate how much monthly income you will need to cover your expense if you are to retire today.
B. Calculate the future equivalent of this monthly amount at the age of actual retirement using inflation.

I think we also need to consider saan natin plano mag retire. Sa manila ba? or sa province? mas mura cost of living sa province lalo na sa sobrang lalayo.

You also need to add buffer for medical expenses.

So need consider lahat ng bagay.

sis, kung 40k a month ang gastos mo ngayon and you anticipate the same lifestyle when you're old, and assuming you will retire kunwari in 20 years, then you need P106,131.91 a month (yan na ang equivalent ng 40k in 2035). this is assuming na 5% ang average inflation rate.

this is a good calculator:
http://www.calculator.net/inflation-calculator.html

^^ grabe, how can a regular employee save that amount? more than 1M a year expense and for how many years pa.

matagal-tagal na ipon pa. :(

how I wish meron kame province. at least may option pa. and pwede den magtanim ng mga gulay, bawas expense pa.

Di kaya ng basta ipon lang I think. You really need to prepare by making investments through different vehicles --- VUL, stocks, UITF, MF and the like.

^ yup, I have those; but thinking of the amount I need after 30-plus years, I don't think I can have that much money. We really need multiple streams of income.

dalawa po ang klase ng retirement plan. pwedeng capital preservation (you'll live by the interest of the fund) or diminishing (you'll live with the fund for X years).

usually ang computation na gusto natin e [textspeak!] capital preservation kaya the sooner you start on it the higher the chance you'll achieve it.

if you want to set an appointment para po macompute natin maayos ang needs ninyo please PM me.

May idea ba kayo how much makukuha retirement sa sss?
