Hi newbie here. I've registered sa Philcrowd but not funding any business there right now. I just exploring their site for now. So far attractive ang mga business nila available for funding (they have 711, Andoks, Cacao farm, etc)

I registered with philcrowd and paid for funding one of the businesses. However, it will take them daw 5 days to verify my deposit. Nasa kanila na yung pera  pero they haven't sent me any info or business plan yet. Sabi nila pag nag member meaning pay 2500 and nag fund ka ng business chaka nila send details. Now i'm having doubts if they really have info. Super slow! I hope they prove me wrong and start stepping up.

Update on Philcrowd:
Sept 22 deposit made for the membership fee + funding
Sept 27 Philcrowd confirmed my deposit/paymemt "Your recent order on PhilCrowd has been completed"
Oct 4 (today) No info kit/ business plan/ no nothing. No feedback and reply to my followups. Very bad customer service. They keep posting updates on FB and can't even attend to the existing investors?

Hope others can share more info and experience.

Philcrowd is a coop - not crowdfunding business model. I think they give out annual dividends.

On their FB page it states "PhilCrowd is the first business and investment crowdfunding cooperative in the Philippines.

We aim to form a borderless investing community for all Filipinos in and out of the country. It is a legitimate investing channel to crowdfund sound businesses.

Providing equal investing opportunities to all, invest for as low as Php500.

We will break barriers.

We are PhilCrowd."

From the name palang PhilCROWD. They were I guess positioning themselves to appear as crowdfunding? Not sure re business models etc.
Am not familiar with terms.

Philcrowd is registered as a coop because crowdfunding is not yet legally allowed in the Philippines. I personally know 2 of the PhilCrowd owners

I pulled out nalang. It wasn't for me but it seems they are very active. I still receive email notifications on new businesses. Too slow and lack of info at that time. Not sure how they are now though. Baka may improvement naman?
