Has anyone invested in crowdfunding? I know each program is different, some just donate, others get their money back if the project doesn't push through, while others have certain benefits. A friend is offering me to invest in certain crowdfunding company which works like a time deposit with a minimum invest of 500k. I haven't read the terms and conditions yet but unlike a regular time depo this has higher risks. Kind of like investing in stocks - high risk high returns but the returns are not fixed. I would like to try it but I would like to hear from those who have tried and what are their experiences (good and bad ). I think others also call this angel networking.

Is this the MFT group?
The terms offered varies depending on who you talk to.
The minimum I heard range from 1M to as little as 100k.
The returns differ too.

Considered the inconsistency as a red flag.

Didn't invest.

Really? Ganun pala. Kung inconsistent nga, parang nakakatakot.

Yung friend ko told me about this. He invested 300k daw. MFT issued him 12 post dated checks (with interest), and so far so good-- 3 months na and nababayaran naman daw sya.

Parang the interest rate is 2.5% a month, which is really BIG in my opinion.

Sana may iba pang maka-share ng experience nila.

Angel investing is a mature niche sa US and UK, pero parang sa Pilipinas kasi hindi pa. So medyo nagdadalawang isip din ako.

did they explain why there are inconsistencies? i've heard about the MFT company as well and even went to their website. i'm quite interested but then again i'm trying to be cautious about these things.

I also hear about the Almazan Construction, and a friend posted na in a previous talk, they have Chinkee Tan and Karen Davila as investors din though not sure. Have you heard of this guys?

^Ahh parang sosyo-style pero open to public investors. Where do you normally find the pooled investments advertised - from newspapers? And do you have any checklist when investing - eg. SEC documentation, Terms and Conditions, Max amount to be raised for capital, Intended Use of Capital raised, etc.

Iniisip ko invest sana sa hospital stocks - pero so hard to know when there's a stock for sale, normally sa circles lang din ng mga doctors.

Foreclosed property pooled investment by Mr. Noli Alleje is has a "stable of properties" to be funded. Last time naghahanap sya ng investors para sa Cavite properties hindi ko lang alam kung fully funded na ngayon. Search nyo lang sya sa fb, he usually announces it there.

I'm part of an investing group in fb kaya nababalitaan ko kapag may mga pooled investment programs/ crowdfunding.

Not a FarmOn investor, but I personally know someone who earned from it. Last year's cycle ata sya and nag re-invest sya sa current cycle.

May site ba yung Ecopig and UAV?
