Sis tinybubbles7 punta ka lang sa civil registry ng pasig municipal hall, get a form, fill it up tapos yes ang alam ko you still need to attend family planning seminar kasi mga kasabay namin sa seminar mga may anak na pero they still had to attend. pagkakuha mo ng certificate of attendance sa seminar submit mo lang together with the other requirements sa civil registry tapos after 10 days makuha mo na marriage license mo.

We just applied two weeks ago, just bring the 4 docs plus ID pictures, pre cana certificate and barangay clearance. No more family planning seminar for us. Happy preps! Dec nadin ako.

Pag nag pre cana kasi di na yata kelangan ng family planning seminar sa dswd.. Sis twinxz ano balita sa seminar?ilang oras saka saan kayo? Pasig kami eh. Thanks sa mga update niyo!

^3 hrs ang seminar lahat lahat na:) Pasig din ako nagfile ng marriage license:) pag may precana, no need na umattend ng family planning seminar. Medyo late na kasi ang pre cana namin kaya mas ginusto ko na umattend sa seminar para mafile na agad yung license.

Ah that's why! We had our pre-cana na kasi 6 months before the wedding. Our church was ok with it. Super na-bore din ako to be honest i kept falling asleep. I'm just not good with lectures hehe esp pag alam ko brainwashing yung ibang parts-- just being realistic. But we got certificates anyway. :p

Hmm. Bakit ganon? During the seminar, Family Planning and Marriage Preparation was mandated daw by the government. All couples, regardless of age and belief should attend daw. Well anyway, the seminar went on for 3 hours lang talaga. it was the waiting game (of course with government offices) that took us more than 2 hours. Learned a lot naman especially sa the rights of women specifically RA.9262 na i won't forget kasi this makes us (women) powerful enough if ever we experience abuse from our partners. (lagi ko binabantaan si fiancé hahaha!) Sa FP (family planning) naman, enjoy din. I learned a lot though I quite felt humiliated kasi the lecture is in Filipino. Unusual kasi na marinig mo yung mga body parts in Filipino. Overall, OK sya.

^Hmm not sure.. but we got our marriage license without the seminar. Claimed it earlier last week. Anyways, you're done, so congrats! In some cities nga daw humiliating hehe.

Yey! Got our marriage license yesterday. Iba pala ang feeling pag malapit na talaga ang big day 😊 i didn't know na good for 120 days lang pala ang marriage license pero sakto lang sa kasal namin 😊

^^kame din hindi na nag-seminar sa munisipyo.
pero we got our seminar certification kase through our pastor. so mandatory talaga na umattend ng family planning and marriage seminar but not necessary to get it sa government.
if your church conducts this kind of seminar, you can ask your city hall if you can just get the certificate from the church and use that for filing your license.

naku sis sayang di ko alam na pwede pala yun na di na aattend ng family planning seminar coz we had ours, sa church din. but its all worthwhile naman din kahit matagal. dami ako natutunan na normally, not taught sa school haha!

Getting married in Manila. I live in QC, boyfriend in Cavite. Where to apply for marriage license? And tama ba, not all cities require cenomar? TIA!

^you can apply in QC, Cavite or in Manila sis. Kung san nakatira yun couple and kung san sila ikakasal. I dont know sis pero parang requirement ang cenomar.

^^ you can apply anywhere among the three. just check the requirements and application process then choose which one is more convenient for you both.

Excited na ako mag apply ng Marriage License kaso may 120 days validity. Nakakatuwa kasi mabasa sa mga sisses natin na ang sarap ng feeling pag nakuha mo na marriage license hehe

^oo sis. Parang "milestone unlocked" ang feeling pag nakuha na ang license. Kami Nov 9 pa may marriage license. Kaso up to now di pa kami makapagsubmit sa church kasi inaayos pa wrong spelling na name ng father ni h2b sa baptismal at confirmation certificates nya. Kaya parang nasayang lang din yung maaga namin pagfile. Kasi may ibang nakapag delay ng submission sa church

^ Hi sis! Diba sa Manila City Hall ka kumuha? Kami dun din kukuha eh. Pero February pa kami kukuha since may 120 days validity.

So sorry to hear na may problems sa name ng father ni h2b. Kung kelan f na f mo na mag submit sa church ng documents, malalaman mo na may prob pala no. Matagal ba ma process pag may wrong sa spelling?
