Hi,

We just applied our marriage license in Pasig City yesterday where I live (should be filed where groom or bride resides). Here are the requirements needed:

1. 2 pcs 1x1 pic (groom & bride)
2. Pre cana certificate (for church wedding) or DSWD Family Planning seminar (for civil wedding) However, I asked them if we can opt to attend the family planning seminar since our pre-cana is scheduled on Aug 12. Since medyo late na sya and we needed the marriage license sana to be submitted to the church, pumayag naman sila. Di na din kami nagpaschedule (which they require sana prior attending it), pumayag silang mag-walk in na lang kami. Basta before 8AM, andun na sa city hall for registration, 6F. Then we paid 50 pesos ata for the fee and 30 pesos yung hand-outs. mga 9AM-12PM tinagal ng seminar.
3. 600 processing fee (marriage license fee ata, for both na yung 600)
4. cenomar (bride & groom, original copy lahat dapat, ibibigay daw nila yung orig copy once mabigay na yung marriage license)
5. NSO birth certificate (bride and groom)
6. Barangay clearance (from the barangay in Pasig where you live)

Yun lang so far:) from 8AM-1PM kami tumagal sa city hall. Parang 30 minutes lang ata yung processing time basta mabilis mo lang mafill-out lahat ng forms then complete yung reqs mo:) After 10 days, we can already get our license. tee hee!:)

^ Hi sis yannuh, I have a question. My h2b and I plan to get married in Iloilo (his hometown). Where are we going to apply marriage license? Here in Manila? or In Iloilo? TIA!

^ taga manila kasi ako sis. C h2b taga ilo ilo talaga siya. Pero dito na yung work niya. Gusto ny sa hometown niya ang kasal since andun family niya.

I think ok lang sis na sa city where you currently live magfile ng marriage license tapos dalhin nyo na lang ni h2b sa Iloilo once kunin na yung church requirements nyo. But double check mo din ke coord mo just to make sure:)

hi sis yannuh, question lang mesyo confused ako.. ilang copies ng birth certificate, cenomar, baptismal and confirmation certificates ba dapat ang kunin ko? at saan ginagamit ang bawat isa?or isa lang each then xerox copy na lang sa iba?thanks!

Sis, marriage license requirements vary from diff city halls ha? Double check mo din sa inyo:) Sa Pasig City Hall, puru original copies ang kinuha. Ibabalik daw nila once marelease yung marriage license. 1 copy each lang naman pero [textspeak!] mga docs na inacquire nyo individually like birth certificate, cenomar, etc, need talaga 1 copy from the bride and another from the groom naman hehe

Has anyone here applied for a marriage license at Quezon City hall recently? I browsed through the website and it says that "*(There is no age limit for Family Planning, however couples 24 years and below need to attend Family Planning Sessions, and Marriage counseling." -- we're past 24; does this mean optional na for us yung seminars?

^^ thanks kiracharlie! Yikes, I only filed for halfday leave eh I read somewhere that the seminar starts 1 PM onwards pa ata. Oh well. No need for me to show proof of marriage counseling naman? We underwent one that was sponsored by our church.

So nakuha ko na ang marriage license namin today. Weird pero I got teary eyed. Super emotional haha! 2 months to go for us! This is it pancit!😆

I don't know if I could be of help to anyone here. But we applied in Trece Martires City Cavite.
Requirements are as follows. 

1. Baptismal or Birth Certificate . 1 original + 3 Xerox copies
2. CENOMAR. 1 original + 3 Xerox copies
3. Brgy Clearance for marriage application. 1 original + 3 Xerox copies
4. Brgy Certificate for Tree planting
5. Residence Certificate. 1 original + 3 photocopy
6. Brgy ID. (need to present original, they need 2 photocopy)
7. Pre Marriage Counseling Certificate. 1 Original + 3 Photocopy
8. Family Planning CertificaTE (acquired from Health Center of Trece)

They took all the original Copies ng CENOMAR, Clearances, Cedula, PMCC. Birth Cert lang yung binalik.. 

the couple needs to be present during Marriage License application. There are 4 forms na fi-fill upan and kailangan ng signature. The release will be in 10 days. Pwde na rito na isa lang sa mga couple ang mag pick up
