parang nasa ganitong punto ako ngayon.  pero everyday bumabangon pa din for my daughter. Tuloy ang buhay

I don't think I even got to use a fourth of what I studied lol. As in wala talaga ata. 'Di ka nag-iisa.

In the past 10 yrs, I've loved & loathed every minute of my working life. Normal lang yan. It gets easier. Not because it actually gets easier- it's just that you get better at handling your frustrations.

i will hold on to this, sis! Haha. Huhu. On a tangential note, ang hirap mafrustrate lalo ngayon, what with everyone achieving a lot of stuff on social media. Parang everybody's out doing great things tapos ikaw ayan stuck, just trying to make ends meet. Lol ewan. #QLC

Hindi healthy na i-question mo ang status ng life or career mo based sa mga nakikita mo sa social media.

Malulungkot at ma depress talaga tayo if lagi tayong mag compare sa iba. Imagine mo na lang, ipopost nila lagi fabulous lifestyle at achievements nila. Then ikaw you tend to question ano na ba ang naachieve mo at narating mo dahil dun. Very unhealthy. On the other hand, kung gusto mo comparison, look ka sa ibang side naman. Pag nakita mo yung living condition ng mga naghihirap, magiging thankful ka na kahit papano meron kang job. Everything is a matter of perspective.

I suggest, tigilan mo na ang social media kung ganyan ang naidudulot sayo.

You hate your work? Welcome to the Real World, where all of us at one time or other hated our work.

Obviously, you gotta dump what you hate. But there may be constraints, responsibilities & no other options at the moment.
So, if you can't just yet move elsewhere -- make good use of your time.  Learn all that's useful while you are there. Hone your skills. Do not look at your hateful job as a deadend.  Then you can feasibly think of bailing out, or getting a promotion.

I can't say I really hate my life with my work right now pero think of it as not everyone is always happy din sa work. How can you tell you hate your job? Dahil sa working environment mo? Ako napakalayo ng trabaho ko sa pinag-aralan ko right now and iniisip ko na lang na bibihira lang ang taong blessed sa kinalalagyan ko ngayon. I mean nakaka-inggit talaga mga friends na nagpopost sa FB who get to travel and socialize a lot pero naisip ko palakihan na lang ng ipon lol. Pang-pagood vibes lang ba sa sarili. OFW here by the way.

Sis, sobrang nakakarelate ako sayo. Ang advice ko lang, habang maaga pa, ifigure out mo na kung ano ba talaga ang gusto mo. Kasi pag mejo may edad na, mejo mahirap na rin mag change ng career.

You should find your pacing, and you should know what you really want. Going through FB and instagram will just harbour discontent so I honestly avoid those things.

Thanks for this. It enlightened me about my job. While I am here, I guess I should take up my Master's Degree so I could get a promotion someday and get out of this job I have right now..

have you ever experienced that thing na you finished this four year course yet nerealize mo hindi pala yun [textspeak!] gusto mo na work? dilemma

In response to this.... I took my course because I'm not sure what I really wanted. After several trial and errors, I landed in the field that I love, and I know I am good at.  But even if you love what you do, there are challenges that comes along the way that makes you question if you really love your current job or did you miss something again. 

Blame it on social media or sugar coating of some people about their respective lives.  Siguro be realistic and earn your way to enjoying what you love.  Most like vacation naman yan among other things na gugustuhin mong gawin right?

yes I have, pero wala naman talga akong choice even from the beginning. suntok sa buwan yung gusto kong degree sa finacial na katayuan namin. Widowed mom who doesn't have any job, we only get by sa pension from my dad'd former work and sss. then, pagka graduate ko ayun, nagka wwork super stressed pero worth it yun nga lang yung salary. then endo na tunganga na ako, currently jobless, thinking of shifting careers as mukhang hindi para sa akin talaga ang IT? and its 2 months na. I hate it, I have no choice but to moved in the big city ulit kaso anduon ang work

^ Start looking for work na.  Obviously a lot of companies are hiring and are having problems with people too.  Maraming work available if you are not that choosy.
