^kristal08 - try mo sis airBnb may mga house for rent dun na affordable lang. kung sa hotel, 1 room accommodation lang pero dun whole house na  check mo din sis if may space for pictorials.

Sis roxy14, The Mahogany Place ako, but my caterer is not accredited by them. Although hindi sila accredited mas affordable pa din kahit I topped up with corkage fee. You can scout Queensland catering, and as per my AE at The Mahogany, may mga weddings na din sila before na catered by Queensland. She even commented na sumasabay na sila trend ng styling and set-up and she even complimented na ang dami daw nila magserve ng food. Yet I have to comment on the taste and quality kasi wala pa ako schedule ng FT.

Hi sis lyechee! Mahogany Place din ako, October 2016 bride to be. Nakakatuwa naman dumadami na tayo dito sa GT. Before kasi very few yun nababasa ko about our venue. Sis, would you mind sharing sino lights and sounds kinuha mo? OTD Coordinator and flower arrangements team? Overseas kasi ako. hihi TIA

Naisip ko tuloy kung mas okay na outside na lang ang cater. may kakilala kasi kami na caterer and stylist or halos parehas lang kung sa accredited nila. nagquote kasi ang town's ng 280k for 150pax kasama styling and the venue. until this feb lang ang reservation. pero if ever naman na hindi namin mahabol yung promo, baka taunin namin sila sa fair. balitaan mo ko sis sa FT mo happy preps!

^sis Roxy14 advise ko lang, wag ka magmadali sa decision sis. if feel mo na parang hindi ka satisfied magsearch ka pa until you feel yung "this is it" feeling. pero ang downside naman is baka kapag ready ka na eh booked na sila. sana makapagdecide ka na sis mai-price lock mo na ang package nila na kahit magtaas sila eh hindi ka na apektado. natutunan ko yan dito sa GT, some suppliers kasi nagtataas ng rates every year, yung iba naman quarterly kung magtaas.
Share ko lang ha, I like this particular supplier kaya naginquire ako ng rates niya. hindi ko muna siya binook since wala pa kaming final date ng wedding ni h2b last year. I wasn't aware na may price increase pala. kaya nung nag-inquire ako to book them sana, nagtaas na sila ng rates and sympre wala na ako magawa.

Sisses, question about L&J catering of kuya willie. I know sila yung budget option sa Tagaytay pero nakakatuwa basahin comments sa kanila kasi they seem to be such a passionate caterer.

Sino naka experience ng wedding na sila ang caterer? Masarap ba food? Other caterers I am eyeing are K by C, Passion Cooks, Purple Dish tsaka Queensland.

I am L&J Bride on Q4 this year sis. One of the reasons why I booked them is because we're relieved that we will be in good hands on our wedding dahil narin sa mga super good reviews from their former couple. Last year, I remembered L&J Brides here like sis Sakura and sis Jentot and they had nothing but praises for L&J. Masarap ang foods and umaapaw daw! Exceeded their expectations, and sobrang babait na tao.

Sisses, need advice. I decided to get a Tagaytay based florist/event stylist coz there are a lot of good ones din Naman. I need advice on which is better, Il Fiore or Tita Sonya? Tita Sonya is the in house stylist of Hillcreek and Splendido. On the other hand Il Fiore has really nice bouquets.

I just wanted to get everything in one place so it's easier to coordinate and make sure the look is cohesive.  Thanks in advance!

^ shopaholic - i say go with tita sonya sis, since nagustuhan mo ang style nya sa venue. and you can always give pictures of your desired bouquet design. for me mas madali ang paggawa ng bouquets kesa sa styling ng venue.

^ agree! If you have the budget naman, go for tita sonya na. Il fiore is cheaper but I think mas classy yung style ni tita sonya.

Concern ko pala na supplier ko NicePrint. I got them kasi sa expo and they gave super sulit na package but I read bad reviews here. Are there NicePrint brides here who can attest na okay naman sila?

Hi Mitch, I also looked into outdoor venues. My shortlist included, by order of preference:
1. Angelfields
2. Hillcreek
3. Two Gardens
4. Splendido

You can look into them. Let me know if you have questions.

A few points to consider though for an outdoor wedding, reasons why opted for an indoor but with an outdoor feel:
1. Tent - baka hindi ka mapakali if walang tent. Ang rates if normal tent mga 20-40k. Yung maganda na bakal tent mga 100k.
2. Weather - make sure na hindi rainy season kasi even a simple ambon can make it hassle for your guests
3. Other expenses not normally needed - generator set and iwata fans
4. Comfort room - proximity of comfort rooms (sorry OC lang haha)

But other than those, I would have loved an outdoor wedding. Those concerns naman can be remedied, added cost lang na I'm not willing to pay for.

tsaka baka 80 pax lang kami kaya pag indoor medyo mahirap din punuin ang venue!
