Once decided kana sis example sa church mo like OLLP, if matagal pa naman preferred date, i-book muna ang church nyo. Then try mo na mag scout agad ng venues marami naman around the area.
The advantage ng early scouting is, makakahanap ka ng venue na available sa date and time ng wedding nyo. So first talaga church and venue, then the rest will follow na. =)

We booked sir Willie, and Casino Filipino ang Venue namin. Pero marami jan sa Thread 13 na L&J+Taalena bride and most of them positive ang feedback talaga.

sis eto yung package na kinuha ko:
-Prenup: 3 looks plus grooming for hubby
-Wedding day:Airbrush bride +2 pax traditional makeup and free grooming for hubby, false eye lashes and 2nd look for reception.

If si Kuya Willie caterer and OLLP church, usually sinusuggest niya sa Jardin de Padre Pio. Katabi lang ng church and affordable. As far as I know, meron na din dung rooms for preps.

Hi sis! Since umatake nanaman ang pagiging OC ko, i made an excel file to fully organize my scouting for suppliers. I divided it into MAJOR-MINOR-PERSONAL-EASY FIND according to our own preference and perspective, then with timeline and allotted budget din. So far, so good. Nasusunod naman namin ang timeline and budgeting 101 namin. HAHAHA! 

We already booked our Major Suppliers:
*Church - Caleruega
*Caterer - L&J Catering
*Venue - Casino Filipino Tagaytay
*P/V Team - Brilliant Bum Photography
*OTD Coordinator + Emcee - Absolutely Knot Events

Next on our timeline will be our Minor suppliers, then we'll start booking again maybe end of this year sis.

Photog din sya ng God's Grace production because sometimes my shots sya for GGP, but our contract is under Bbum.

Re oot fee, ours kase is customized P/V outputs for Pre-Wedding & Wedding Day since gusto namin ma-meet yung allotted budget namin for P/V and makuha namin yung gusto naming outputs as well. He customized the package according to our needs, and adjusted everything accdng to our budget then Viola!!! The oot fee is waived! Yay! Ganun sya ka accommodating, ka-flexible, and kabait. HAHA! Sobrang winner yung package na yun for us kaya sobrang love narin namin sya! We will just shoulder the Gas Fee for both locations (pre-wed & wedding day). They're Cavite based sis!

attended a wedding 2 weeks ago in Taal Vista Hotel. Tinaasan ko yata masyado expectation ko. Disappointed kami ni husband sa food. Ang tigas nung beef na dish. Tsaka natipiran kami sa serving. Tagal pa mandin namin pinaghintay. Almost 2 hours din so major gutom na talaga nung magstart sila programme.

Try mo food sa Villa Ibarra, masarap food nila sobra. Hindi ka magsisisi @avane.

mga sis! any L&J Bride here? Nag settle kasi ako ng DP last month pa kay sir willie. Kaso wala pa sya fino-forward na receipt sakin or any proof na nagbigay na kami for DP. Okay lang ba na mag ask ako ulit? I sent PM na kasi once, and nahiya nako mag approach ulit kasi baka busy. And sabi pa nya since next year wedding pa kami, yung contract daw next year narin kapag final na guestlist.

^sis mga ilang weeks bago mo na receive? hehe! Nahiya na kasi ako ulit mag message kasi baka busy, madami syang weddings na nagdaan as of his postings sa FB page. May concern din ako sis, i dunno if you feel the same way. Minsan kasi may time na ang haba ng message ko and jolly ako then ang reply lang ni Sir eh noted. Minsan tuloy parang na ddisappoint ako the way he replies. HAHA!

Anyways, i really admire his works, and after scouting sya na talaga yung may "this is it" samin for our simple wedding. Baka busy lang talaga. hehe! =)

Medyo ma-dilemma lang siguro ako kasi nga overseas kami and we're just trusting the reviews of the former couples aside from our "gut-feel and this is it pansit feeling" as well. =)
