Try nyo din sa mga wine depot, baka may mas mura sila than sa malls, and mas madami choices so pwedeng may special na wine for the head table and normal for the guests.

^ilang hours yung after-party nyo mga sis? 2 hours kasi samin. Sulit naman na ang mobile bar noh? hehe When I attended a wedding, super nagenjoy ako sa after party kahit 1 hour lang. Ang galing kasi ng band na tumugtog sa kanila plus the cocktail drinks taste great.

Wala nang after party sa akin e.. Mahaba kasi ang "dinner" portion ng chinese wedding so by the time natapos late na din..

^Sis baka 1-2 hours lang kasi 5hours lang yung sa venue namin. Tsaka my after after party pa kami the next day sa beach. hehe. Ang balak ko nga lang ay 2 wines per table then siguro mga 2 bottles of beer each guest. Hindi ako magmobile bar sis. hehe

Kami kasi, maaga yung ceremony. 2:30 hehe so early dinner din. mga 6:30 pm maseserve yung dinner so by 8 siguro done na yung program hehe

We dont really have an after party but we will be providing drinks and pica pica in case some choose to stay. For the sounds, taped music na lang from our L/S supplier.

My friend recommended Wines By Chris Urbano. He has an online shop and will offer up to 15% discount if you buy in bulk. He also does wine consultation and tasting so you can show him your menu and he will recommend which wine will suit each course.

My only issue with this is that his wines are on the expensive side. His cheapest is at 760 per bottle (retail). I had a look online and this is comparable to Australian prices (his wines are from AUS). The 760 wine retails at 699 in a liquor shop here so di na masama.

What wine varieties do they have in M&S?

I'm going to inquire with Chris if they have budget wines available. If they don't my plan is to just bring wine home from Sydney. You are allowed to bring in 2 bottles per person and I have a lot of family going back and forth. In 6 months I will have my 25 bottles!

I just checked with my venue, corkage is P850 per bottle. Is that the going rate?

@Lilafowler: it depends on the venue. When I inquired with some hotels (Shang, Penn etc), their corkage was about that much. and 1k++ for liquor.  Is the resort waiving any of the corkage? Maybe you can speak to them about (partially) waiving it. Hotels here waive 1 bottle of wine per table

Just finished negotiating with my venue.

10k consumable  beer, juice and softdrinks and they will waive corkage for 20 bottles.

Or 15k consumable beer, juice and softdinks and they will waive corkage for 30 bottles.

Is this an ok deal? How much did you guys spend on drinks (incl non-alcoholic drinks)?

We didnt get mobile bar kasi ayaw ni hubby yung gin na sineserve sa mobile. So we bought some whisky, tequila and wines sa SNR and duty free inabot din kami 18K pero we have 25 bottles na 1.5 of assorted tapos we paid pa mobile service from caterer para organize and they will have setup like mobile bar.
We asked kasi sa mobile bar if they will served yung  mga preferred namin abot din ng 35K.

Hi sis yes, in line padin with theme namin. they will design accordingly kaya narin ako nagavail from caterer. they charged us 2,5K for the bar service.We choose the design and since caterer din magdesign sa set up sa venue uniform lahat.

For the beer, is it better to serve canned beers or order beer kegs?
