Recommended affordable OB and HOSP!

Hi Mommies, I'm new here. 

I'm a first time mom. I'm about 8 weeks pregnant. I had my first pre-natal check-up at St. Lukes. I'm not sure kung check-up nga syang matatawag because, it was only an interview about my LMP and a little discussion about my EDD. Then, I was prescribed Folic Acid and was given a request for Blood Exams, Urinalysis and TVS. I am to go back to my Dr. after the tests are done.

I did my TVS when I was 6 weeks pregnant, so mahina pa ang heart beat ni baby kaya I need to do a repeat TVS after 2 weeks to check the heart beat.

I scanned a copy of the ultrasound result and sent to my Dr. via e-mail and asked about their maternity package. Sobrang mahal ng package nila. NSD - 85k-110k and CS - 115k-200k. Not sure kung kasama na lahat (PF, room,  etc) dun pati kay baby.

Hindi pa ako bumabalik ulit sa Dr ko dahil di pa complete yung mga labs ko. Gusto ko sanang lumipat ng Dr. pra di na ako lumipat pa. Yung tipong sa Dr and Hosp na un na ako mgsstick para di hassle magtransfer pa.

Can you please recommend a DR and HOSP na may AFFORDABLE maternity package both for NSD and CS? Yung Dr na mabait, magaling and madaling ma-reach pag may mga questions ka and concerns. and HOSP na malinis at OKEY ang FACILITIES and STAFFS. If you could please give me the package rates/cost (if PF or All-in) and name and info ng Dr and Hosp kung saan sya affiliated.

Check the threads about individual hospital costs here. SLMC QC. Normal around 110-120k. Wife gave birth last april at SLMC QC emergency CS 130k+ all in na yan. If you want good hospital and doctor nasa ganun price range talaga.

St lukes emergency CS we paid 50k. Worth every peso. Specially if nagka complications.

Hello po. St Lukes Global City po yung samin. Kung malapit lang sana ako sa QC walang problem kaso po makati ako based. Ang hirap maghanap ng affordable hospital yet very good service.

i have an obgyne kaso di ko feel affliated sia with maxicare , hospital nya pgh , trinity ,and medical city, ang price 20 k for normal ,painless 30-40k cs 60k , di ko alam if all in na un, ok naman sia kaso parang isng tanong isang sagot, pgh (payward naman) [textspeak!] inoofer nya kasi daw maleless din daw [textspeak!] maxicare dun. meron ba kayo alam na obgyne na affliated with maxicare here sa manila and kung may exp kayo sa pgh payward thank you!

If you want sis, pwede ka mag-apply sa HSP ng MMC. Discounted yung rates nila, same services din sa regular na MMC patients, though yung OB mo is a resident OB. Maayos naman service. usually kung sino yung OB na available yun ang magcheck up sayo, but there are cases na "aangkinin" ka na ng OB kung gusto niya. Maraming ganyan dito.

Im a product of MMC'sHSP Program, so far so good okay yung OB na nag-own saken super baet and maalaga.Try mo sis mag-apply sobrang malaki ang  masasave mo

Mine only amounted to 129k for elective CS.  I got a small private room, and all-in na yun.  My doctor is topnotch, I didn't feel pain even after the surgeries, even when I went home to recuperate.

If you want a more affordable alternative, you can check out MCU in caloocan.  They have a package wherein they will assign an ob, anaesthesiologist and pedia for you.  You will also be staying in a ward, pero 1300 yung private room naman.  25k lang yata hospital fees nila.

cousin ko gave birth at jose reyes beside doh. yeah we know its a government hospital but she availed the suite room. hindi nyo aakalain na nasa public hospital siya during the entire confinement. advantage is lesser ang expenses niya compared sa usual private hospital

Hi sis gemwin21! From where are you. My ob is from qc. She brings her patients sa delgado and i forgot the name of the hospital in marikina. Refer sya sakin nung friend ko. Madali kausap. Pati sa discount daw hehe. Kapag hindi talaga kaya ng budget mo, pwede sya humanap ng hospital for you and will make the referrals.

True ba na 17K less philhealth all-in na o may additional pa? I hope may mag share ng expenses nila dito..

45k - 55k = NSD (ward)
60k - 70k = NSD (semi private)
75k - 85k = NSD (private)

di na ko nakatanong ng discount kase nagulat ako.. sabi ko sa misis ko,hanap kami ng iba kaso makulit eh.. stick na raw kami don sa OB nya kase mabait naman tsaka maalaga. kaso ang mahal talaga eh.. ako ang duduguin sa gastos..hahahaha.. sa Feb 20,2016 ang duedate nya.

Sa mga taga Laguna, i recommend Unihealth Southwoods, bago facilities at affordable pa. May maternity package sila flat rate so kahit from ward mag upgrade ka to private same rate lang ang procedure at mga gagamitin. 900 ang ward 1300 small private 1500 large private 2500 suite. Madaming ob from 10am- 8pm. Ob ko is Dra Umbal tues thurs sat 6pm-8pm

I gave birth in Adventist Medical Center Manila last March. I paid less than 60k only for repeat CS, to think na nag excess pa ko sa package because I was given morphine. Included na newborn screening and less na yung Philhealth. Ward lang siya pero I have no complains because maayos and malinis. All of the staff were very nice and friendly. My OB Dra Belen Pantangco-Rakagukguk is also super bait. When I checked their web site nag increase na ang rates ng packages nila pero reasonable pa rin naman. Here's the link:

I'm 18 weeks pregnant now and I availed of Makati Med's HSP. Nagtaas na rin ang maternity packages nila. CS is now 47,700, 10,700 newborn package, less 11k+ for Philhealth. I'll have my first checkup on Nov23.

sis tulipninja and sis clariego, sino po ang OB nyo sa HSP? NSD or CS kayo? Can you describe din po ang itsura ng ward nila like how many patients inside, and pwede ba ang hubby magbantay ng overnight? Sorry marami tanong. Di pa kasi kame nakapagtour sa maternity ward nila. TIA!

Wow! May I know who your OB please?

My OB kasi practices sa Chinese Gen at St Lukes. Mas malapit sana sa house namin ang St Lukes pero ang quote nya sa akin ay 130k for NSD at 90K naman NSD nya sa Chinese Gen. Pero kung all in mo ay 130k at emergency CS pa, then ang mahal ng quote ng OB ko... I want to inquire sana sa OB at sana accredited cya ng MAxicare din. TIA!

^ang qoute ng OB ko sis for uncomplicated delivery pag NSD around 60k and pag CS mga 100k. Hindi ko lang natanong kung anong type of room yon.
