^Caliber had a shoot elsewhere during our wedding so we didn't have the chance to work with him. Sayang. Pat had Francis and Henry with him (may 1 photog pa ata na hindi ko na nakilala). Francis was the one shooting at my husband's room. I loved the photos he took of my husband and his family. Also had the chance to mingle a little with him before the ceremony. He was really nice.

I don't know how true this is, pero ang sabi sa akin ng assistant, when you get Pat then request Francis and/or Caliber, you have to pay extra for Francis and/or Caliber's services. Swerte daw kami that no one else was available so we also had Francis without paying extra. Hehe!

I noticed photographers these days are on their "standard rates" already. Our photog, Ruffa and Mike, is 95k package too which includes e-sesh, wedding photos, onsite photo slideshow and album.. Foreveryday is around that price na rin.. And I think Camzar is same rate din.. With those same rates, magkakatalo na lang sa style na preferred ng brides kung sino ang pipiliin
Then the top notch would be at least 150k-ish or even higher price na..

Foreveryday's  Packages :
*Package 1 : 85k
*Package 2 : 100k (prenup included)
*Package 3 : 110k (prenup included)
Service Only : 65k

Package 3 was 100k in 2014 when we booked their services. Some brides got this package at 85k because Gail had a promo last year. Sadly, i am not one of those lucky brides who availed this. So, it's not a 30k increase a year, only 10k.

Package 3 is so sulit coz it includes a blow up frame, 2 pcs parents album, prenup shoot 2-4 hrs within manila, prenup album, wedding album, service of Gail plus 2 photographers (we had 4 photographers during our wedding though), 150 pcs artist choice photos printed in 5R size with box, HD copy of all images in dvd, and a photo slideshow on the day.

I received our official wedding photos after 2 months, pero actually ready na in 1.5 months, they just have to send it overseas kaya natagalan. We had 1700+ photos taken. So I guess the money we paid is worth it.

^Ahhh OK...so Gail has a 15k price increase from last year for packages 1 and 2 =) and 10k increase for package 3 and service only.

^i checked my old rates just now chili, yeap it's definitely 15k for the first two packages and 10k for the rest.

Thanks sis caleeice! I think yung 80k na nasa list ko of JLR is yung 100k na nya ngayon. I made this list 2013 pa yata. lol So yeah, sobrang tagal ko nang nagpepreps! 

I can no longer remember why I chose Caliber over Francis  (that's accdg to my list) pero ang alam ko it's about the personality (?), parang mas magaan ang loob ko kay Caliber.

Siguro Notion in Motion ang scout ko. Bob Nicolas is over budget na lol. What happened to Mayad?!!!! I saw a recent video of theirs, grabe parang raw vids na pinagtagpi tagpi medyo may nginig factor pa. Naturn off ako.  pero sabagay SDE naman yon so factor yung time constraints and all, at hindi rin kasi sa Boracay yung video (walang touch ni King hehe). At siguro Team B,C,D,E etc pa yung kumuha. Sayang sila ang first choice ko.

I really really love Foreveryday Photography's photos and Gail is super nice but I got broken hearted when Gail told me that he's already booked on my wedding date I am willing to adjust our wedding date but we still have to check the availability of our venue. Haay.

I noticed that too sis mrscreamsoda I loved Mayad's work before but lately their work seems like done without passion. To think that their price is high but they're not producing great outputs like before. For me, Bob Nicolas is still the consistent one.

We've booked Ghe months ago, and everytime nag uupload sa vimeo or page, chinicheck ko talaga. Pero bakit ganun, hindi ako natotouch? Parang nag aantay ako ng "awww" moment, pero kahit 2times ko panuorin, wala I think, his forte is the Love-Story or mga Pre-wedding films, dun ako talaga na hoohook.

^sometimes sis, regardless of how good the film maker is, but walang cooperation ang couple, it'll be hard for them to create a story out of it. kasi kung ano lang ang nacacapture ng camera nila, like the emotions on that day, yun lang din mapapakita nila sa final output. hindi lang sa couple, pati kapag ang priest ay boring ang sermon. one thing i remember din, ghe told me na they won't ask the couple to do the usual cheesy scenarios. when you have a meeting with him, he will discuss all these things to you naman and will give you tips on how to come up with a great sde.

sis peanutbuttercups, I think it also depends on a lot of other factors such as the details of the wedding, the moment (because sometimes there are weddings na sadyang wala masyadong bonggang emotion especially pag boring ang homily), the couple's personality, etc.

I'm new here

We're getting married at Boracay on Feb 2017 and we're getting WEDOITFORLOVE for photo and MAYAD for video. Huhu ano yung nababasa kong nega about Mayad lately? Manila weddings ba yan kasi pag nagccheck ako ng Boracay wedding na SDE ok naman sila I booked Mayad kasi may Boracay based team na sila which Jay is the new director and so far yung bora wedding SDEs ay okay naman King ata is Manila based na.

What I liked about our P+V suppliers:

WEDOITFORLOVE - Rex is friendly and accommodating. He answers emails, fb messages and sms very quickly and he can give discounts as far as I know he worked for mangored for 4years before putting up his own photo services so matagal na sya sa industry. Sa photos, gusto ko siya and perfect for beach kasi parang fun yung colors and wala masyadong awkward poses yung shots nya so more on candid shots talaga sya and very particular on the wedding details. Tsaka yung pag post process nya ng photos, gusto ko yung ganung type, di sobrang mukang pang formal ichura so bagay sa beach weddings.

MAYAD BORACAY - I liked them because first may boracay based team na sila, no need to add additional cost for airfare and accomm. Usually if you're getting Manila based, plus 20k OOT plus accomm and airfare huhu that's beyond our budget 110k yung rate nila with aerial na yun. Basic package lang yan magtataas na ata sila by october this year, so pwede pa kayo humabol

Done na with our wedding two months ago ang dream videographer ko talaga before si bob nicolas kaso nung ikakasal na ako, naisip ko waaaay over the budget ang rates nya so naghanap talaga ako ng mura pero magaling sa kakareseach ko, i came across with this videographer, JR Soriano his rates are super affordable, abot kaya talaga! Watched some of his videos and infairness ang ganda talaga! So we booked him for our wedding we paid less than 50k for a package with sde, 10-15min cinematic video and aerial our sde was awesome!!! He delivered more than what i expected! Feeling ko kulang pa binayad namin hehe!! Here's our sde for u to see

^bubblemilk This is just me ha, but I've been to 2 Mayad weddings this year, 1 had a really good SDE, one was subpar. And if im not mistaken they hired naman the same team (the most expensive one at that) Us guests were talking nga na what happened, ganyan bakit super ganda nito tas yung isa ganun. The latter one had a different style kasi than usual, but perhaps it was the bride's request to do it that way. Medyo off lang pagka-edit kasi puro face nung bride na halos same angles and shots lang, kakaumay.. di naman kasi modeling video diba. And weird audio. Not familiar with the Boracay team but maybe you can specify nalang things you dont like to prevent output you dont like? Mayad is such a high caliber supplier i think they can address preferences naman esp since you pay so much..

sis bubblemilk, my first choice talaga for videography is Mayad. My hubby's cousin got Mayad for their wedding but I think they got Team B but okay naman. Maganda and malinis. They got Mayad yata too as their photographer. My hubby and I didn't like their style of post-processing their photos bec we found it too gloomy so I crossed them out. As you said, King is in Manila na. But before, almost if not all, Mayad Boracay vids were directed by King, highly recommended by Amanda Tirol, and super wow talaga. I once planned to have a Boracay wedding kaya medyo inalam ko siya. lol! But I suggest you meet with Jay para matanong mo how he operates. Nood ka rin ng videos directed by him. Don't be discouraged by the nega comments bec Mayad is a known supplier and they can deliver. It's just a matter of preference lang.

Regarding Team B, paano ko po malalaman if Team B or A ang mapupunta sa wedding ko? Sa manila lang ba yung may team A and B? Kasi tinanong ko si Jessica of Mayad kung si Jay ba magiging director ko and she said yes naman, pag ganun ba siya padin director pero pwedeng kasama nya is Team B? Naconfuse ako bigla hehe!
