regarding the monetary gifts. from the start ng reception inabot na sakin yung bag ko. medyo maliit pa nga bag ko kasi may mga cards na binigay samin eh malalaki yung cards. yung ibang kamaganak ko sa parents ko inabot kasi hindi naabot samin while picture taking per table. inabot nalang ng mom ko sakin. sa gifts naman nung nag handover coord namin, nakalist talaga sa papers kung kanino galing. hehe

my coordination group was great! kasama sa checklist nila sa last meeting the details as to sino iendorse and magkeep ng cash gifts the whole night; and my sister did a great job in securing it. Automatic inihand over sa kanya kada bigay ng angpao.

Most coordinators would not want to handle the monetary gifts. Besides majority of the guests who give envelopes prefer to hand it directly to the couple.
For us pinag assign nila kami ng point person both for the monetary (just in case may mag abot sa kanila) and non-monetary. Para hindi na kami ang guguluhin nila for the turn over. And yes, may checklist yun.  Kasi we have to write thank you notes after.

-sleep early the night before, and this will sound like a cliché but yes, let go and trust your coordinators.
-don't panic, keep smiling and be friendly and nice to everyone. being stressed is not an excuse to become rude with suppliers. these people, even if we paid them for good services are not working for the couple, they are working "with" the couple.
-keep a clear mind and thinking. I thought I lost my enveloped personal money. I had to excuse myself during my make up sesh and look for the envelope myself. good thing I found it quickly.
-learn to savour each moment. you'll keep on coming back to the day these things happened.
-it's important that you are comfortable with with your suppliers especially with the PV team. we have a total of 12 blokes from our PV team. 7 of them are inside my room directing me to pose in front of them. imagine how awkward that moment is. I'm happy to know that these men are respectable and real gentlemen..
-consider buying nipple covers if the gown doesn't require you to wear bra. at least you're not uncomfortable when you dress up in front of your couturier, or maid of honor.
-it's important to be hydrated but be sure to go to the toilet before you hop on the bridal car.

..more tips next time. :)

Haha medyo sanay ako sa silicone bra bilang flat chested ako and need ng support para maganda sa gown haha! First time ko nasubok yan when I tried Bride house's RTW gowns. Medyo uncomfy sa simula kasi sila ang nagbibihis sken at naglalagay nyan pero I got used to it na hihi! Nice tips sis belle!😢

I wasn't topless when the couturier's assistant dressed me up. I wore a robe which was very easy to remove. So I first covered the breast area before the assistant held the gown up in such a way that I can completely disrobe without anybody seeing my nipples. Hahaha. The only ones in the room were my HMUA, the assistant and my mum. All the photo and video team members went out because they were all guys! Hahaha

Hi 120515,
Only the nipples are covered sis, I think the ones you've got are the silicon bras that covers the full breast right? I think you can still use yours naman. :) I used only the nipple covers since the bridal gown has built in breast cups already. :)

Sis mdnextdoor,
Yes sis, topless hehe! :) Sir Manny's lady assistant helps me get changed all the time but during the wedding day, my coordinators and moh were also there. (At least there's still a small part of me that's covered hahaha)

Sir manny is so considerate too coz he turned around din when I was dressing up and he doesn't make me feel awkward.
