Sis, you have no rest days?
Also, if you're renting a room, may iba ka bang kakilala sa ibang rooms?

Esp. pag girl. Sabon, shampoo, sanitary napkin, etc.

TS, realistically speaking, if you want to live one ride away from work (since your fare budget is only 16/day), then you must be willing to share a room with one or two others. Mahal ang rent esp pag within Makati.

What you can do, you can share a room or apartment with your friends.

be open to sharing an apartment and room with other people because rent will take up a big chunk of your budget. i lived for 5 years in makati sharing a 2-bedroom apartment with 7 other girls and my rent was around 3k, including utiliies. groceries will also be another big expense and this will be another 3k (including toiletries and food items). fare will depend on what kind of public transpo you'll take and should be for 20 days every month unless you work overtime on weekends like i did. when you're just starting out, it's a little bit harder to save but it will become easier over time. you can start small. if your company has an autosavings facility/cooperative, join it. this way you'll learn to live within your means because they deduct the savings from your takehome pay automatically.

C) Live with parents to save on rent? Of course magbigay ka sa food.

Hindi ba option ito?

back in 2008 eto rin scenario ko, kumasya naman. hehe. nagbedspace ako at 1500/month inc of electricity and water, malapit sa lrt-buendia kaya minimum fare lang din ako papunta ng ofis. may carinderia sa baba nung tinitirhan ko kaya 40pesos/meal is ok na. kahit lagi ako dun kumakain, i still go to the grocery once a month para sa toiletries at saka snacks na rin. kaso walang save-save noon kasi kailangan ko din naman ng funds for entertainment.

In addition to the above, baka puede ka pa mag take ng part time work tuwing weekends para i-augment income mo. Ideally yun puede mo gawin without so much of an extra expense for you - mga online part time work, or pag aahente ng real estate.

Best of luck!

Space Rent: 2000 or less
Fare: zero; why? because i'll live 20-30 min walking distance sa working area ko. Until now, I'm earning more than 10K, ganun pa din pinanggalingan ko 30-40 min walk pa din ang house dahil super traffic naman pag rush hour
Food: i'll invest on rice cooker para ulam nalang ang bibilhin ko. (pwede ka na din mag luto ng simple dish sa rich cooker or noodles pag tag ulan) so maybe makaka save ka ng p10 per meal. so 35 nalang ang cost mo per meal. 30 days x 3 x P35/ulam = P 3,150
Bigas: 45per kilo x 6 kilos (assuming 2 kilos per week lang ang naco-consume mo) = P270
Miscellaneous like load, sabon etc. (10% of income) = PHP 1,000

Actually I tried renting a room in Dian Makati before, Php3500 lang pero malungkot eh.

And yes, mahirap humanap ng solo room at 2.5k. Ako nga during my college days 3.5k a month sa u belt, that was the cheapest I could find na presentable pa din. That was way back in 2008. Cooking by yourself is more expensive kasi iisa ka lang eh mahirap naman magluto ng 1-3 servings at a time. And dapat may contingency fund ka din, kasama yun dapat sa budget mo every month para may mapagkukunan ka during emergency events
