Kahit yung mga hindi sikat na wedding church around this area.

5. San Beda (not sure if allowed weddings)

Yes, Manila Wedding kami. Our reception will be held in Ibarra's Garden.

Actually nagse-search na rin ako sa net, at yan nga rin mga lumalabas.
Gusto talaga namin is Paco Church. Pero kinakabahan ako baka hindi namin ma-book sa preferred wedding date namin. Kaya eto, hanap mode on. Hehe.

Kami naman San Sebastian. It was the first thing we booked since yun naman yung importante. Try to reserve Paco Church since you both like it. I think Malate Church is the nearest one to Ibarra. Ito yung malapit sa Robinson's Ermita?

Manila Cathedral and San Agustin super ubusan talaga ata ng slots dun. You may also consider the one sa tabi ng MOA. Medyo malapit din ata yun.

I like San Sebastian din. Kaso nalalayuan na si h2b
Yung sa MOA, ayoko, malayo na rin talaga yun. Prefer kasi namin yung malapit lang talaga sa Ibarra's. Yes tama ka, near Rob Ermita nga ito.

Manila Cathedral no no since may history daw na naghihiwalay mga nagpapakasal don. Hahah! Just kidding. San Agustin naman, baka daw mapagastos kami ng bongga. Pero pasok naman sa budget.

Yung Paco Church kasi, next year pa nila i-open ang slots for 2017. BTW, Jan2017 pa pala kami. Hahah! Medyo excited lang.

Pwede ko ba malaman sis how much wedding rites sa San Sebastian?

i have a friend kakasal lang ang niceprint photo/video nila nakuha nya ng 65k all in na.. kase hindi pa daw sya nagpopropose nagdown na sya ng 5k sa niceprint hehe

mga kuya ko sa San Agustin church hahaha.. dagdag flowers kame every time kase hindi happy sa kasama sa church package .. just bring the flowers to the reception..

Yun nga, super drastic din talaga yung increase ng suppliers that's why maaga palang nagpapa-reserve na kami. Payo lang din ng mga friends para hindi ma-stress at maipit sa time.

Gusto ko sana sa San Agustin, kaso sabi rin ni sis rightback, punuan ang slots dun.
Tsaka ang high end na nung church. Ayoko naman kasi ng super bonggang wedding. Basta makasal lang sa lalaking mahal ko at maayos yung araw na yun, oks na ko dun! Hahaha!

San Sebastian, i'll be thinking about it.

sis pogi02 we paid 25k for San Sebastian. Pero kasama na dun yung mass, priest, red carpet, flowers, soloist and organist. Sa San Agustin parang bawat kilos mo may bayad. Yung pag open lang ng door for the bride's entrance 1000 na agad. Pero non-negotiable ni h2b ang San Sebastian. O diba siya ang may non-negotiable.

Cheaper and very nice ang Malate Church. I think its around 15k last I checked. The price will depend din if daytime or afternoon and if one of you is a parishoner or not. And ang dami sa area for photo ops after the wedding. Its across Manila Bay and you can have nice sunset portraits after...assuming na afternoon wedding kayo Its very near your reception pa. Baka around 5 mins lang ang distance without traffic.

But feel free to check San Agustin pa rin since 2017 pa kayo. Baka may free slots pa niyan. Natawa ako sa sabi mo about Manila Cathedral. Ang showbiz lang.

Sis rightback, binanggit ko kay h2b yung San Sebastian, sagot nya sakin, "Pwede!". Ohaaa. Hahah!
2 of my bestfriends had their weddings there. Kaya ilang beses na ko naka-rampa dun as MOH. Gamay ko na yung aisle. Chos! HAHA!
Pero check daw namin kung talagang di namin ma-book si Paco. But still, fingers crossed.

Grabe naman pala sa San Agustin. Nakakaloka yung bawat kilos may bayad? Wow ha. So no way! Hahah.
Manila Cathedral, yes ang showbiz nga. Half meant din joke ko since I have a friend na kinasal dun and ngayon separated na sila. Sad story. Kaya yoko rin don. Katakot. Baka may sumpa. Hahaha! Ang bad ko.

Hi sis pogi02! Sadly, our chosen church is the Manila Cathedral kasi ito lang ang fully airconditioned church sa Manila. I always wanted to get married in this church since college nung nakapunta ako dito during a field trip. Preferred din kasi namin ni H2B na fully airconditioned & not just air coolers ang gagamitin dahil our wedding falls on an afternoon in December 2016 at kahit December ito ay ayaw namin ipagsapalaran kung mainit ba o malamig yung araw ng kasal namin. Lahat nakaFormal wear tapos nahuhulas sa init so it's a big no-no. Also Manila Cathedral is our middle as I'm from Pasig & he's from Cavite. Ito na ba yung sinasabing sumpa ng Manila Cathedral o baka may iba pa? Napansin ko lang dito e they're super strict, some of my suppliers MUST attend their orientation & gumagawa din sila list ng suppliers na mga manloloko to help future B2Bs. They also ban certain suppliers na hindi sumunod sa alituntunin nila like one P/V (nakalimutan ko name). No custom vows, the songs to be played ay yung nasa approved list lang nila. BTW sis if gusto mo iPush ang Paco Church wedding nyo ni H2B, nag-accept na sila ng 2016 weddings. San Beda Church (Abbey of Our Lady of Montserrat) is no longer accepting weddings, kahit pa for those who graduated from San Beda.

Nakuuu. Sorry naman kung nasabi kong may sumpa yung Manila Cathedral. Eh joke lang naman. Pero kasi I have 2 friends talaga na ganun nangyare. Well, nasa sa inyo naman ni H2B yun e, nasa pagsasama nyo. Papa-affect ba kayo? Diba NO? Love love love lang.

With regards to their strict policy, grabe! Ang strict nga. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na ganun pala. Tapos yung list of songs to be played dapat galing sa kanila, no custom vows, i was like "whaaaat?". Too controlling! As for me lang naman yan. Pero yung sa mga suppliers, positive ako dun, na may orientation and may list of banned supp sila, okay yun. Makakatulong yun sa mga couples.

Sis, Jan2017 pa kami kaya di pa nag-aaccept si Paco Church. But I've talked to my coord, sya na daw bahala magpa-block ng date since may kakilala na sya dun. So fingers-crossed for me. Kasi yun talaga gusto naming church. Naghahanap lang ng other options just in case may mauna samin.

Don't worry sis djctapalla23    I have got 2 friends na kinasal sa Manila Cathedral and they have been happily married for about 5 years yung isa, yung isa naman about 7 years na.  hehe

The big churches in Manila area like Manila Cathedral, San Agustin and San Sebastian are strict indeed like sa attire, what you can do inside, misalletes etc. But its really hard not to fall in love with these old churches--ang ganda talaga outside and inside.

Sis rightback, with regards to pictorial at San Sebastian, yes they are giving enough time. Di naman kami minadali noon. Pero mahigpit sila when it comes to start time ng ceremony. Ni-remind kami before the wedding day na strict sila kung anong oras magsisimula yung, then I remembered talagang exact time kami nag-start.
With regards naman sa attire, parang hindi sila masyado mahigpit. Or di lang nabanggit sakin? Haha! Kasi yung gown ko dun sa isang wedding, super backless, as in kitang kita yung buong likod ko, from shoulder down to waistline.

as in di naman strict na within 1 hour pati photo tapos na? i think yung concern nila sa attire is more on sa harapan vs sa likod hehe. tinanong ako ano plano kong neckline ne wedding gown.

Ayy hindi naman saktong 1hr kelangan tapos na. Kasi di naman nila mamadaliin yung mass para lang sumakto sa 1hr kasama yung pictorial. Pagkakaalala ko pa nga, medyo mahaba yung homily nung priest kasi kilala sya ng bride. Kaya muka namang hindi strict sa ganun. Simce ang standard ceremony naman is naglalast ng 1hr. Mag-allot naman siguro sila ng ilang mins for pictorial.

Yung bridal gown ng bestfriend ko, v-neck tas medyo malalim yung neckline. That was more than a yr ago. Heheh.

sis pogi02, i met with my musicians yesterday sabi pag mga church daw sa manila medyo mabilis daw ang pangyayari..including San Sebastian and San Agustin. No feedback though on Paco church. Have to ask pa how that goes. Pero nabigyan naman daw ng enough time for pictorials.

My h2b is considering na rin San Sebastian. Baka pag nagkataon, pareho pa tayo ng Church.
Reason nya is maganda talaga yung church and complete package na yung sinabi mong 25k.
