hi sis yannuh, 7ten5 din ako..pero 9k na bigay saken ni lowell, plus nagadd na din kame emcee and rsvp, so total of 13,500..sulit na din, pero sana super ok sila come wedding day natin..kelan mo sia binook sis? saka san and kelan wedding mo? 

^same here sis! Pero ako i inquired last April pa. Kaso hindi pumasok sa budget namin yung offer ni lowell eh. 16K kasama na OOT fee, so medyo naintindihan ko rin kasi malayo church namin tapos manila based naman sila. =)

Anyone had Ms Kutchie of Getting Married? Her full is 97-100K and OTD is 47-50K. Sabi kasi nila if you get her, malaki din discount sa ibang suppliers if siya mag coordinate.

May I asked you guys if better to take full coordination para stress free or OTD nalang? If at the end of the day decision parin ng couple.

Hi sis, opinion ko lang, if overseas ka then i think you should go with full coordination., if dito ka lang sa pinas, i strongly suggest to get otd lang. Ako kasi i dont have much time to prepare kasi busy sa work and business pero otd lang kinuha ko, luckily nman khit otd lang kinuha ko parang full naman and service nila. Thats the reason why i booked them, ganon din kasi comment ng ibang brides dito

^up to you sis. She's really matunog. Kung pasok sa budget mo, then go for her. You may want to create a list of "wants" and "needs" on your wedding. Consider some coords din na cheaper but the quality is still superb. Malaki surely ang discounts if she will coordinate kasi nag aarange siya ng bridal at wedding fairs. Nasa sa inyo rin ng htb mo kung full, partial, or on the day coordination. Kung isa sa inyo gusto hands on, you may want to choose partial or on the day. Consider mo din yung prep time ninyo. Kung you only have 2 months, malamang super rush ng mga preps, need mo nga full. Pero kung next year pa naman, we can help each other here..
Some of the sissies here got OTD lang since we want to see for ourselves some stuffs-church, venue, do some DIY, souvenirs, etc. andun kasi yung thrill when you haunt them. Saka once in a lifetime ka lang naman mag aasikaso nito, then feel the stress. hehe. IMO lang naman yun.

As for me, Better get OTD na lang. But kung hanap mo is super galing with better price, you have other options naman na kasing galing din ng Getting Married . Other options are  Kiss the Girl Events, Imbitado events, Isnaps Creatives or SMA Weddings. Its really up to your preference.

Share ko lang, my fiance and I initially wanted to get partial coodrination services (coz he doesn't want to see me getting stressed daw haha!) But when I spoke to the coordinator that we finally chose, she was the one who said na hindi namin yun kailangan na OTD lang pwede na. This is because none of us are based overseas, we've already booked almost all our major suppliers when we met, and she also said, they didn't want to take away from us "the joy and the pain" of wedding planning. It's was something to look back on daw as a couple. I agree with her. ☺

I'm a Kutchie bride. But this is purely a personal opinion. 
I think you would need partial to full coordination especially if you are an overseas bride. That goes without saying-- it doesn't even need to be someone the caliber of Kutchie pero syempre for peace of mind you must book someone credible.

As for getting Kutchie herself, I must say she is best to get for full coor if you are an all-out kind of bride planning an all-out kind of wedding. Say >2.5M and upwards na budget. Because a lot if not all of her favorite suppliers to recommend are the top of the line ones. Look at the weddings in her fb wall and you will get what I mean. Yung weddings nya waaaay more than 3M ang ginastos, maliit na bagay lang sa kanila na 100k yung coordinator unlike most of us here na nagbbudget. I have friends who got her and i can confirm this hehe. She is good and her team is successful partly because they always recommend the best suppliers out there who can deliver. I've also heard she loves to input on things that need to be improved-- which may necessitate setting aside a contingency budget (which i will do bec i feel she will recommend upgrades for my L&S). I get the feeling she is used to rich clients and that is her positioning as well given her price. I am 100% confident she will deliver, but as the couple, i think it's best we choose someone din we can best work with. If you plan to splurge on some and really scrimp on some items, maybe you can still get Kutchie pero OTD para you have the flexibility to book some cheapo suppliers for items you dont really care about.

Much better ba na full? Or you could do it by yourself naman and opt for partial with Kutchie instead. Kasi at the end of the day couple parin nagdedecide.

Kasi what I've heard if you get her full kaya niya Maka discount sa suppliers and all.

I agree with sparklingjewel. If your suppliers are mostly high end, or upper mid-range then go with a high-end supplier. Then go with a mid-range coordinator if you will hire mostly mid-range suppliers.

For instance, my coordinator is a bit high end. And if I went with all her suggestions my budget will really balloon. She wont force me too book high-end suppliers, and she does give mid-range alternatives, but not too many, since her couples book mostly high end ones. Of course, you can still always book whomever you choose, but it is still better to find a coordinator that meshes well with your suppliers.

Either way, get the best coordinator you can who has connections with the suppliers you are targeting. Remember that if your coordinator and the supplier have a  good and long history of working together, your supplier will definitely not want to screw up your wedding!!

^Hehe same case kasi tayo Chili1113... high-end coordinator pero the rest mid-range. I think the good thing about it is we are more confident that our coordinators will deliver bec of their reputation. That is mostly what we are paying for. And their expertise of course in knowing what and which suppliers will make a good wedding. But you're right in saying there needs to be some level of control unless we want to have a really bongga wedding with all the best suppliers at a sky-high cost.

Overall though better padin than the opposite scenario.. back when i was scouting I've met a low-end coordinator with super good reviews here and honestly I liked her so much too...she was so nice and sounded OC! but when she started recommending suppliers and activities for me nung initial meeting, they were so off from what i wanted my wedding to be it made me cringe. That was when i realized how impt it is that your coordinator really meshes well with the other suppliers you're getting and the wedding you envision. OC is not enough hehe. She was less than 30% of Kutchie's price but her recos wouldn't be useful to me at all.
