OTD Wedding Coordinator (Part 4)

Hi annerea, I got married last March and my coordinator was Abby Basa of Kiss the Girl Events. I think they did a good job, very organized My wedding day went by smoothly and everything was on schedule, I was even surprised at how much time we had in between the church and reception. My husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding because we just let KTG take over on the day

We'll be meeting them on Tuesday. it will be our first meeting with an OTD coord din, the other four kasi i've inquired with were already booked on our date. any tips? if okay lang

^hi sis annerea, i dont think im the best person to give u tips re interviewing coordinators kasi i booked kiss the girl without ever meeting with them (or any of the other coordinators i considered). I crammed our wedding preps kasi haha I just started booking this january so i relied heavily on online reviews and feedback and it was just a matter of finding who was available for my date that was within my price range. And also I wanted a coordinator who also provided hosting services na because I did not want to search and book a separate emcee. Swerte lang din [textspeak!] na tama naman yung mga reviews na nabasa ko regarding ktg na maayos silang ka-trabaho kasi na experience ko rin yun first hand yung mga ibang girls dito sa forum ang daming magagandang tips na na mention how they evaluated and chose their coordinators so i think that will help you good luck with your wedding preps and in choosing your suppliers!

Hi mga sis

I met with Sir Lowell of 7ten5 last Saturday. He was very professional and was very transparent with his answers even the ones I asked about challenges, difficult moments and bad feedback. I liked his personality a lot and knowing that he was also a coordinator for one of my friends, I was more confident that choosing his team to be our coordinator would be the right decision.

I spoke with the fiance and he agreed to hire Sir Lowell I'm so excited to work with him and the team.

Hi sis annerea, my lead coordinator was abby, but arbee and cece (who was my emcee) were also there on my wedding, along with other girls (they were 6-7 in total). One of them acts as lead coordinator and that person is the one you will be dealing with. I'm not sure how they assign lead coordinator, but from the very start it was Abby who answered all my emails, texts and calls and she was the one I would have meetings with so it was never confusing for me. Hi mga sis! Pa-join. I booked Kiss The Girls yesterday after meeting Arbee. I like her a lot. Ni-refer din sya sakin nung photographer ko since naka work na daw nya sila a number of times and there was a lot of positive feedbacks. My wedding date is on October. Cramming galore na din ako sa pag book ng suppliers. I just started planning 2 weeks ago. haha. good luck sa atin

Hey, sis. I already booked my OTD 7ten5 but here are the results of my research based on reviews here on GT and my own interviews. Baka lang maka-tulong.

OTD's I did not get to meet:
Alpha Events (15k)[/b] - there have been some negative reviews but I have had no personal experience with them to speak of[/list][/list]

sis LingMVL and other sisses, it's a waste of money to book Alpha Events Management (not sure if change to EML Events and Marketing Services) anyway the owner is Marjurie Sayao. before we booked them in july 2014 ok naman mga reviews, then come dec. saw a very disappointed client on their fb page, we open this issue on our meeting in feb. they said ibang AE daw yung nagHandle kaya hindi sila makapagbigay ng details, we were also informed during the meeting that Marj would not be in the event the whole time and her sis Mirzi na kasama during the meeting will handle, but on the wedding day both of them are not present, may emergency daw and puro newbies ang andun, plus late sila on preps, then yung nakaAssign sa recep late din kasi tumambay pala sa church as informed ng AE nung venue namin kasi sya yung nagAsiikaso ng supposedly coord gagawa, my bride asst looks clueless of her duties, sinasabihan pa sya ng HMUA ko kung ano gagawin, we also got our photobooth with them for 4 hrs pero 2hrs lang pala kinuha nila dun sa nagService, kaya hindi ko binayaran yung balance, a few days after, the photobooth staff contacted us if we have other contact no. ni marj coz they didn't pay and their fb page is deactivated na.

I scheduled a meet up with events:simplified next week, though not sure kung sino sa kanila kausap ko. hehe. Nagustuhan ko OTD package nila dahil sa mga freebies and dahil din sa positive reviews dito sa GT pero parang di sila ganun ka approachable sumagot sa messages? though mabilis naman magresponse.. Anyways, baka feeling ko lang naman yun. Hopefully maging okay naman kalabasan ng meeting namin

I'm just lucky coz the rest of my suppliers were very helpful dun sa mga palpak ng coord, kaya kahit pano hindi napansin ng mga guests and maganda naman ang feedback nila overall, except lang dun sa photobooth dahil yung iba hindi na nakahabol including my fam.

well I'm happy to hear na eventhough naging sila ang glitch mo, eh your guests still didn't notice anything and everything still went great despite the setbacks.  Tama ka.  Buti hindi ka na lang nagpa apekto, despite the stressful events, and it was a good thing that your other suppliers were pretty helpful.  Congrats sis, now you can put everything behind you and focus on your family
