^ i think iniisip din nila na dapat yung mananalo sa PGT can be marketed easily after the contest. Totoo naman na if you sing classical songs hindi ka bebenta sa Pinoy market.

I would like to think na nakabuti kay Gerphil ang nangyari sa kanya sa PGT. That was 5 (?) years ago. Perhaps yun ang naging inspiration nya to better her craft and prove PGT judges wrong. And IMO, laking improvement din ng looks ni Gerphil now compared sa dati. And she was much younger then. Baka at her age now, di na ganun ka-awkward na kumanta sya ng classical songs. Mas carry na nya kumbaga now.

^ speaking of Gerphil, her makeup artist is sooooo underrated and is not getting attention! I'm curious sino makeup artist niya..almost marian rivera na yung beauty niya when she was in red (half down hair, yung golden buzzer ata)..and final performance. akala ko super ganda siya..then i saw an interview sa GMA ata yun, di pala ako nagagandahan sa kanya.

Pgt and agt caters to different audience naman. Pgt usually mga nanunuod dyan eh mga middle class pababa, not saying upper class dont watch pero usually yun ang mga kina-cater na audience. So syempre when they choose who to put sa pgt, iniisip na din ng mga judges yung mga taong possible na magvovote sa kanila. If gerphil went thru to sabihin nating finals, would you think na mananalo sya? I think tama lang yung desisyon ng judges that time. She's a good singer pero mahirap imarket ang kanya genre. In agt, asian wide and audience dyan. Parang per country na din ang labanan dyan. Judges choose who impress them. Gerphils lucky davids one of the judges. For him, hindi mahihirapan imarket ang talent ni gerphil because david is internarional! I think mas may chance then dito sa pinas.

Yun na lang siguro ang consolation ni Gerphil. Had she won in PGT, she wouldn't had the chance to showcase her talent in AGT. I just hope David will really help her. And I hope Kris won't judge a talent show again

i agree with your sentiments. i was just appalled with what Kris suggested, that GerPhil should sing songs that Charice would sing (or to that effect). it's like telling a ballerina to dance hiphop instead

true. PGT and AGT obviously caters to different market audiences. while the 4 AGT judges are all talented in their fields, Kris, on the other hand, can't sing, can't dance, can't act and can't even host properly. oh wait... she's good at nasty criticisms. that's probably why she judges PGT

ang ganda nga ng makeUp nya. altho it made her look mature. she looks her age (24y/o) with minimal makeUp

I used to like AP esp nung bata pa sya kasi ang ganda nya and ang galing umarte. Pero oa na sya lalo pag naggeguest sya sa ggv. TO ako when she guested first and made fun of Shaina tapos yung last guesting nya, di na rin ako natuwa. Hope she tones down a little. Sana may mag advise sa kanya...
