Multi-National Company VS Homebased

Hi Girltalkers. I would just like to get your opinion regarding choosing the things you think it's right vs the things you are not sure if will really make you happy. I work in a multi-national company and nasa supervisory position na ko.  My husband has mostly been in-between jobs since hindi sya college graduate but he is now venturing into farm business. ( Planting tomatoes and sili ) I was thinking if I would give up my work now and just go into working home-based. ( My outdesk). I have a 5 yr old son who will be starting schooling next school year. My current job involves dealing with a lot of customer complaints and making sure that our department is meeting all service levels. I took this job half-heartedly because of high pay. But I was/am never happy with what I do. I came across with this homebased job and I think I can do the task needed. But I'm not really sure if it will pay the bills and it's worth exchanging the company where I work now . My head tells me I should not give up my job but my heart tells me it's worth a try. I would like to give this job a try as this will give me opportunity to earn money at the same time will get to spend more time w/ my son especially now that he will be starting his schooling. But I feel guilty in thinking in giving up my job to something that I'm not sure if it will cover all our expenses. I feel I'm being selfish. But honestly I'm no longer happy working for this company or to any other company as the time spent outside home is something I can never bring back specifically the time I don't see my son.

Happiness is subjective and is always a choice.
With a son to support and the husband's venture is just starting, I would go for the option that will provide financial security for my family. I'll make the switch ONLY if I'm sure the home-based job can fulfill our needs. Not sure? Only one way to find out? I'd rather not risk it.
