With new mobile phones popping out here and there how do we choose what best fits us?
Is it about quality? Price? Aesthetics?  Specifications? Brand? Device variety? Availability?
Considering last year’s top 5 brands globally shown below, what is the right mix for the Filipino customer?
1)   Apple
2)   Samsung
3)   Microsoft – Nokia
4)   TCL – Alcatel
5)   LG

It's more about the "wants" na lang talaga more than the "why" need of having one. I mean, who are we kidding di ba? nobody really cares about the features no more as long as gusto ng isang ordinaryong pinoy user ang isang specific na brand, basta na lang nila bibilhin yun so I guess aesthetics has something to do with it somehow, this holds true dun sa mga hindi marunong mag-compare. And price points don't really deter them either - as long as, yun nga, gusto at afford ni pinoy ang isang model ng phone, kahit gaano pa kamahal yan bibilhin na lang din yan kahit na wala naman sya idea on its features at syempre, bragging rights na rin.

My take about the branding, Apple STILL comes out to be the strongest of the bunch. As much as I hate to admit it, magaling masyado ang marketing ng Apple kasi despite the inherent flaws by its iOS and lack of "new" features of its successive models, people still buy them. Sobrang effective ng ginawa ng Apple for their iOS devices and it got to the point na even it's close competitor samsung end up copying nearly all physical aspects of the iphone 6 for their s6. I won't be surprised if others go down the same path as well.

FYI, TS, my personal brand pick isn't on your list - it's sony.
