Awww... sayang sis lourd3ss.  Backread ka lang sa OTD thread and you'll find feedbacks of previous brides.  That's where I found Sheena.  I was originally eyeing Imbitado but at the time I sent my inquiry, they haven't opened their 2016 calendar yet.  Communication wise, I'm satisfied with Sheena naman.

Gusto ko mag attend ng Wedding Expo Philippines 27th Edition on September 12 & 13, 2015 sa MOA. Kaso wala pa talaga kaming plans eh, research stage pa lang. Nasa stage 1 pa lang ng planning stage, as in wala pang final date. Lol! Pero target namen next year, prolly last quarter.

Civil wedding on a budget kame kaya todo na research powers ang kailangan ko!

Usually those who go to bridal fairs take the advantage of booking there for the perks such as discount or additional things they can offer you for free.They usually have finalized their suppliers and book them there for a good deal.Not necessarily kailangan mo ng magbook right away. I went to the Unveil bridal fair in Eda Shang and honestly didnt become productive kase I got a lot of flyers lang. I didnt have any idea kase what to get yet. Inquired sa mga giveaways pa. Didnt know what we want back then. hehe. You can get ideas though and thats where you realize what you need from what you want

Based on the suppliers I wanted getting married nga yung ok. Themes and motiffs was organized ok as well so i knew which aisles i wanted to go to. I forgot which bridal fair in PICC yung naguluhan ako and puro flyers  kaagan pagpasok pa lang.

i got flyers during the june 20-21 wedding expo at smx. then compared package offers per supplier. kahit tapos na ang wedding expo, tinawagan ko yung mga napili naming supplier and asked kung pwede pa rin ba maavail yung freebies and discount nila. most of them pumayag naman.

Hello mga sis, I just called San Agustin Church to check the availability of our wedding date. It's still available considering it'll be on Oct 2016, BUT I'm surprised na sobrang nagtaas na yun rate nila. I though it's only 29K as indicated sa website nila, now their rate is 33,500 na. Hay, nasa-sad ako kasi baka hindi na pumayag si h2b sa sobrang mahal.

^Ang mahal ng fee sis considering theres no aircon in San Agustin hehe. But sis if San Agustin is your dream church, go for it na. You might regret it later on.

Church wedding and baptismal fees are one of those expenses that I feel good about spending on. Because really, this is one of the few ways that the church/parish makes money to run and maintain the church, take care of the priests, and fund some of their charity work. So in a way your church fee is almost like a donation to the church and will be for a good cause too. =) Hehe not like when we pay other suppliers, yung supplier lang yung pinapa-yaman natin hehe. Yung church fees madami nakikinabang at natutulungan.

^sana naman worth it yung inincrease ng price nila kasi ang dami kong nababasang minamadali yung ceremony dun kasi sunod-sunod ang mga weddings eh, yung tipong di pa nakakalabas ng church yung bride and groom eh nakapila na yung ento ng susunod na wedding sa labas. I've also read sa blog na medyo unhappy yung bride kasi di sila nakapagpa family pic sa church dahil minamadali na sila dahil may kasunod pang wedding. And also sis, did you inquire kung included na dyan yung pag open ng door at yung top view na shot for photographers? alam ko kasi separate na bayad pa yun..

Sissy, you can try Themes and Motifs, every quarter they have a schedule at SMX. So far for me sila yung the best, organized and a lot of suppliers are there. Suggest to check prior going what to book na and who you are eyeing sa sobrang dami din ng suppliers.

Better din kapag andun yung gusto niyo para you can have a chance to discuss face to face and bargain for more discounts and freebies.

Very important is, register at Hizon's para may free lunch or dinner kayo haha.

Nag inquire pa lang ako sis ng availability ng preferred date and time namin. So far, maluwag pa yun sched nila and it's a Sunday wedding. IF ever matuloy kami dun, sana wala kumuha ng slot after our time. Haha. Sana included na dun yun ibang separate ng fee like pag open ng door. Like, hello. OA 1K for the effort. Hindi kaya masyado na over price na itong church..

Kwento lang about my cousin's wedding in San Agustin Church last year. Her mom made kwento last week that they were so annoyed during the wedding. There was a wedding right after hers so super konti ng pictures after the wedding. And they didn't have time to transfer the flower arrangements from the church to the reception. So ginamit ng wedding naka schedule after hers yung mga aisle flowers. Finally nung nalipat daw yung flower arragements hehe ang pangit na daw ng flowers! Kalbo na yung arrangements kasi guests of the wedding after hers plucked out most of the flowers.

Hehe I dunno kwento lang ng tita ko. Gideon Hermosa did her reception and it was really nice! So I am assuming he did also the church decor? Di kasi ako nag attend sa church hehe. Anyway if ever si Gideon yun... sabi ko swerte naman nung wedding after hers nakalibre ng Gideon Hermosa setup! Hehe

Ang mahal!! Gosh. And San Agustin yung church na bawat galaw mo may extra bayad pa right? I saw people talking before dito na pagbukas lang ng pinto may extra 1-2k bayad pa? Lech.

Personally im only willing to shell out more for a church if its really my dream church, it's aircon, and if its going to give me more than just an hour for ceremony (i hate churches na mamarch palang yung bride palabas andun na si next bride nakahanda at lahat ng guests nya nakakalat waiting for you to vacate).

Awesomecakes, san agustin is your dream church ba? If you really like it, try to negotiate with hubby. But then, consider mo din other things (esp the not so good feedbacks) about the church, nabasa ko nga before every move may bayad ultimo pag open ng door at strict nga daw sa sched. How about manila cathedral sis?
