Hello loves.. versailles ang venue namin.. ask ko lang if may nakapag-attend na sa inyo ng M catering and fine foods. Sa lahat ng food tasting na napuntahan ko sila un type ko talaga. Though first choice ko pa rin ang k by c. Any comments sa M Catering? Thanks dears

Hi sis fr_starshine, h2b and I attended M's food tasting last month and will have another one before the month ends. We really liked their food, especially the way they seasoned their meats. Malinamnam lalo na ang roast beef. Ang dami ring freebies sa package! Sis f878 recetly had her wedding catered by M, check M's facebook account ang ganda ng set-up! And sis f878 said,nagustuhan ng guests ang food. Nagandahan din siya sa set-up sa reception. Though kbyc is also my first choice, unfortunately, they turned us down kasi di raw nila kaya mag cater sa venue namin because of logistics problem. Oh well, ganun talaga. Not meant. 😊

Hello mga sis! Finally. Im subscribing to this thread. Tho no final dates yet pero we're thinking of having our wedding on my birthday month, Oct 2016. Dami kasi namin kailangan na i consider na expenses pero we're taking it slowly. Just this weekend we went to San agustin church since yun ang dream church ko. We also went to Adamson University (st vincent de paul parish) since dun kami galing pareho. Hndi pa kami decided sa church kasi magkaiba kami ng gusto. Hehe.

Hope mga sis may marecommend kayo na wedding venues near Intramuros or within manila na around 1300/head lang. That's our max na sana since medyo madami kami planned guests. Long term relationship kasi kami(8yrs) kaya mahirap for us ang planning of guests.

Ive checked most of their rates na. Theyre a bit pricey kasi venue halls lang sila and separate payment pa for the rent the place and for the catering service. Tho ito talaga prefer ko.


Mga sis, is La Castellana okay? Upon checking kasi medyo vintage yun place just like Ilustrado resto. Kaya ba ito gawin somehow modern depends sa gusto naming mood or theme?

^sis some of them have packages but depends which caterer. for example oasis and palacio de maynila has packages for other caterers like Hizon's but if you're getting K by C venue rental only yun. best to ask for their package rates as well then you can compare.

La Castellana looks nice but I haven't been there. Facade is classic with Spanish influences. Inside you might be able to pull it off. Try to do the occular na lang sis, minsan kasi iba yung labas pag nasa pictures lang.

Thanks for your reply sis. I already checked their package rate sa Pintados. But now nahihirapan ako which caterer to get, i only tried Juan Carlo. Dito kasi kame based sa SG ni H2B. Pagumuwi kame i'll try K by C. and hopefully makahanap na kame to close the venue.

@ece Sis! hahahaha I saw it at Myth and I have to set an appointment in their office sa condo in Greenbelt too. Theyre starting price is at Php100,000 not sure what comes with it. Im not really particular with gowns though never even had a wedding gown in mind pero I think Im not the type who'd wear the ruffled balloon type. My fiance doesnt ant it either. Sino pa kayang okay?

@awesomecakes Hi. Have you tried inquiring sa mga hotels or you like to stick lang to events places? Some hotels (it depends on the ae) are nice that theyre willing to extend rates for you. Like for example Manila Hotel, tell them your working budget and if you wedding falls usually on the weekday (since theyre not a lot of corporate events) they would extend it. The venue comes usually with the food at least it would save you renting the venue too. Hotels do mark up 70% of the food costs so they can usually adjust. hahaha!

sis fr_starshine, M catering really did a great job on our wedding. hindi namin priority ni hubby ang styling or setup basta importante masarap ang food kaya sabi namin sa kanila kahit yung pinakabasic lang ok na sa'men pero what they did on the day really exceeded our expectations. from the garden to the reception ang ganda ng ginawa nila. lalo na the flowers they used! really fresh at di ko na-feel na tinipid kame. lahat ata ng centerpieces na roses inuwi ng guests namin. hehe
as for the food, lahat ng tinanungan ko (and i asked a lot ha! haha!) nasarapan din sa pagkain. even our tito's & tita's na galing abroad ok sa kanila yung pagkain. hindi rin kame kinulang sa food kahit nakailang balik sa buffet yung ibang guests namin.

basta sis try ang lageng advice ko talaga is ft lang ng ft hangga't matagal pa ang wedding. para you can really compare and check kung ano'ng pro's and con's nila. kame we went through 12 ft's para lang makasigurado na we got the best caterer for us and nag-pay off naman talaga sya.

Hello sissies. Planning a Sept 2016 wedding. Wala pa kong nabu-book ni isa but I'm doing a lot of research. Super toxic but exciting din! Hehe. I have a big dilemma nga lang. Im from Bulacan (me and h2b) but lahat ng nagugustuhan kong suppliers ay manila based.  Aside sa ang konti talaga ng suppliers around our area. Mga ilang libong piso kaya ang mauubos nito sa budget? Im quite worried kasi sayang din naman yung matitipid.
