Hi sisses! Any recommendations for hair and make up artists? I'm helping my soon to be sis-in-law, june 2016 wedding nila. So far sa mga naattendan kong weddings lately ang personally na nakita kong talagang naimpress ako kasi napaganda talaga ang bride (in a good way ha) is  mariah santos and may mappala. any other up and coming na alam nyo? sino ba ok ngayon? thanks in advance! really appreciate all recommendations!

hi sisses! is anyone here booking shrine of st. therese in pasay? any feedback? im getting married late next year pa and the church is the only thing we have settled. i was a bit disturbed na kailangan church songs lang daw ang sa bridal march. any thoughts about it? or any truth behind it?

Contemplating over K by Cunanan and Juan Carlo.

I'm an overseas bride and next year pa ako makakauwi for our August wedding.

hi sis msdianne! i checked blue leaf filipinas din for our venue and am contemplating getting k by cunanan. im still waiting for a go signal from my fiance. anyway, they have good 2016 packages that already include a hotel stay, basic decor, etc. ang pinaka-plus for me is the valet parking.

am still choosing between blf, whitespace or one esplanade.

Hindi naman, I already attended my friend's wedding and the band sang Forevermore during the bridal march naman.

Hi newatdislyf, it depends on the Church you are booking. Some Churches are very strict while some aren't. Is this the policy of your chosen Church, have you booked na ba?

Hi sis, makikisagot lang,   Are your appetizers going to be served as starters?  If so, you may need to add more appetizers, especially since most of the time, post nups take quite some time, like an hour.  And most of the time, kahit 2 or 3 appetizers lang yan, madali syang maubus since sitdown luncheon kayo. Your guests will be expecting your mains to be served soon. Kaya baka matagal silang mag intay.  Especially kung may travel time pa yung post nup nyo.  Or better, add a prelunch snack.  Like the counterpart to cocktail hour, like what most sisters have mentioned here.  Para they wouldn't notice yung time na wala kayo.  Hope this helps sis. 

Thanks bonzaigirl! I've decided to have a few post-ceremony photos na lang of me and then-hubby at the church then join the guests at reception afterward. We'll just have a post-reception photoshoot (the makeup artist will be on standby naman so she can help correct any chaka that happens to my face while talking to my guests haha) - it's a morning wedding so we have the rest of the afternoon to do this

Hi Sis Kate. January 2016 wedding ko. Si Ms Onie AE ko. May mga nabasa kase ako dito sa thread na hindi sila nasarapan kay Josiah's pero based naman sa FT namen ok naman siya. And yung styling nila nagustuhan namen.

I saw the package for KByC 530K for venue/ catering (250 guests).

Gusto ko sana mag hotel Pero super pricey :p for my number of guests. Weekday wedding naman kami. Sanctuario De San Antonio is the church Pero we want sa Blue Leaf Filipinas than Mc Kinley

Hi mumtorney! Not sure what their rates are but my friends were transformed by CJ Jimenez and Mickey See. They're already very pretty to begin with but when we saw them come down the aisle, super whoa!! CJ has before-after photos on her website, you can really see the difference and they all look lovely!

hi sis shemee! same tayo january 2016! we also got Josiah's and satisfied din kami sa food tasting, even on other weddings we've attended before. dont be discouraged by negative reviews, iba iba lang talaga ng preferences. you'll encounter a lot of this as you go on with the preps, just trust your judgement and remind yourself why you booked them in the first place

hi sis shemee! same tayo january 2016! we also got Josiah's and satisfied din kami sa food tasting, even on other weddings we've attended before. dont be discouraged by negative reviews, iba iba lang talaga ng preferences. you'll encounter a lot of this as you go on with the preps, just trust your judgement and remind yourself why you booked them in the first place

sis bzbee! ako din josiah's, first choice ko sila..and so far happy ako sa foods nila and sa package and freebies na naibigay nila saken, super ok din kausap ae ko, para lang kameng magbarkada, hehe..sino ae mo sis? saka san wedding mo? april 2016 naman ako, mauuna kayo saken

sis i also booked ivory and white they gave me bridal fair rates as long as i booked on the week of their bridal fair. i told them kasi i'll be out of town during their bridal fair at rockwell (june 27-28). i didn't want to spend so much on a wedding dress kasi. we splurged on our caterer instead.

i'm booking my invitation supplier at the before i do bridal fair at megamall at the end of this month para may freebies and discounts. i checked out their website to get a list of their suppliers. so far pinakanagustuhan ko is print and company.

mkea: Ivory and White's  average price is about 34k. The bridal fair discount was 10% off =)
Add ons of Ivory and White are coverups for about 4k, or additional beads for around 4k also.
