sis rightback, yeah try niyo passion cooks eventually parang gigil yung sarap ng food during our food tasting. i was wishing i had a bigger stomach so i could finish all the food, all the dishes served were scrumptious! no exaggerations. crossing all of our fingers na sana ganon din kagigil yung sarap ng food pag mass produced na siya on our wedding day. don't hesitate inquiring sa kanila sis, they have excellent customer service. everyone's so friendly and dilligent. i hope, hope, hope din may magustuhan ako sa ivory and white sis. ayoko na maghanap ng iba kasi ang lapit lang nila sakin. but if malasin and wala akong magustuhan, i might try looking sa white label kasi mukhang maganda din dun. mas mataas lang sila, 30-60k and i think they sell lang 1 design per dress kaya ikaw lang talaga may suot nun.

taz188, i'm considering indie hippie also for my prenup. he has the most affordable rates eh. kainggit naman you've booked most of your suppliers na. i dont have a florist yet, professional lights and sounds, projector, entourage hmua, and invitations.

sis Raserei, you might want to look into garden venues na may cover/ceiling para less worries for you come your wedding day. there are also venues that have both open and closed spaces para they can move the wedding indoors in case it rains. happy hunting!

get them! they are super affordable and Gerly is nice and accomodating din. hehe. naku sis. even before magpropose si h2b nakapagbook na ako ng church and reception. haha. ang strategy kasi namin ay nagset na kami ng target date at dapat makapgwed na kami by that time kaya even if it was not yet formal (as in wala pang proposal) nagbook na ako. hirap na kasi Jan is peak season din. may mga supplier heartbreaks na nga ako ng lagay na to because they were already booked on our date.  pero keri lang! haha

Sissies, there's a thread here dedicated solely to Hizon's. Search mo lang siya. Backread din sa Caterer thread. Marami nang reviews about them.

I myself have attended FT with Hizon's and saw them cater for my niece's debut. They're food is okay naman. They're styling is okay too, di lang siya masyadong personalised but they have a lot of styles you can choose from. Ang pinaka-positive review I have about them is that when I talked to them, they were flexible with their choice of food, marami rin silang offer na freebies, and marami silang food - as in maraming leftovers, so you better pick food that you'd want to take home I saw this personally sa debut ng pamangkin ko.

We have the same take on style so really waited to meet with her. She was the last designer I met with. Others where Mel Orlina (we don't have the same taste,) Pablo Cabahug (very friendly but was my second choice,) Jun Escario (met with me for less than 30 minutes, late in the meeting for more than that.)

florist and event styling: serge igonia
Met with Michael Ruiz before since he's the in-house stylist of highlands but we didn't mesh well. I was actually also waiting for other florists to get back to me but stuck with Serge after I waited for three months just to get a quote from the others. He's also super nice.

I know I still have nine months to go but I've been to busy with work that I don't have to the time to book the other suppliers, much less meet with them. Do you have any suggestions for the entourage gowns? Thanks!

sis rightback yes parang not as cheap yung ivory and white for customized dresses. nagpa-quote ako dun ng mothers dress and may pagka-mahal. not as cheap as i'd want it to be hehe. pero classy kasi sila gumawa, yun din gusto ko. either way, on the lookout pa rin ako for cheaper mananahi for my entourage in qc din. binabantayan ko rin yung thread dito regarding that. if may marerecommend ka sis, that'd be great

taz188 i know what you mean, nagka-heartbreak narin ako nung nalaman ko booked na isa sa mga suppliers na gusto ko. sobrang peak season month mo sis. get your suppliers na agad. sarap magpakasal ng ganyang month kasi ang lamig pa ng panahon

hi pearl_buendia, i've attended a PM wedding at gazebo royale and maganda naman siya pag evening na. during the day kasi parang bare pa siya tignan and too open pero at night di mo na mapapansin, mas lalo na if magpalagay ka ng professional lights. but the wedding i attended regular lights lang kanila and maganda pa rin naman. malamig din kasi may malalaking fans sila so hindi maiinitan guests mo.

sis barbeecue the only designer I talked to in QC area is JM Rosario. He's pretty new but I'm not sure about his rates for entourage. For my entourage kasi we'll get a mananahi from our province since about half of our entourage is based there and the other half naman are either my siblings or abroad. Roxy Bagano sana ok din kaso she's in Pasay area.

Any suggestions po sa P/V? I'm eyeing to book Bliss and Berries (sister company ng Blacktie Project), meron po ba dito sila din kinuha?  kaso looking for ibang option na less expensive, medyo mahal din kasi packages ng Bliss and Berries

I asked her to submit quotation just for the comparison, but after 3 days I decided to book her after realizing na sya din ang emcee sa dati kong kawork, according to him, Ms. Joy Catubig is really nice and cheerful at hindi ka magsisisi na ibook sya..so no more second thought.

Hi mga sis! June 2016 Bride here and I hope you guys can help me sa planning ko. Super wala kasi akong idea ano ba mga dapat gawin or mga pwedeng gawin ganun, so sana masagot niyo mga tanong ko. Salamat!

1. Regarding sa designers, kasi nababasa ko na nagpapaquote kayo ng peg niyo, so okay lang na pag nag email ako mag attach na ako ng pic na gusto ko? Tapos pag di ko afford, ano sasabihin ko? Pwede bang di ko nalang sya replyan? haha tsaka what if nakipag meet ako sakanila tapos di ko sya feel pala, ok lang ba yun? Hindi ba sila ma offend?

2. Regarding venue and caterer, kasi nababasa ko andami niyong nakukuha na freebie, paano yun? haha as in tatanungin ko lang ba sila kung may freebie? kasi nahihiya ako sa mga ganun eh.

Actually, yan lang pala ngayon mga tanong ko. Sa totoo lang hindi ko alam kasi paano makipag interact sa kanila aside from asking for packages and quote.

Here are my suggestions:

1. Okay lang mag e-mail sa kanila, pwede mo din attach agad yung pic ng peg mo with descriptions kung may gusto ka i change sa pic, so far nag bibigay lang sila ng estimated na cost para sa peg mo. Nagrereply pa din ako ng "Thank you, we will discuss this and will get back to you once a decision has been made" kahit medyo natataasan ako sa rate na binigay. Yung iba naman na feel mo pwede pang bumaba ang rate kung papabawas ka ng embroidery or ibabahin yung tela, I suggest have a meeting with them. Kung di talaga kayo mag click ni designer, say Thank you pa din for accommodating you and you need time to decide.

2.For venue and caterer, ask kung anong included sa package, usually naman sinasabi nila sayo upon meeting pag may freebies. If meron ka gusto na hindi included, that's the time na itatanong mo sa kanila yun. Kung medyo chummy chummy kayo, maybe you can ask to give those to you as a freebie na lang mga ganun.

So far yan ang mga naexperience ko, better talaga if you set up a meeting with them kesa e-mail kasi mas madali mag haggle in person.

Kaya mo yan sis!!! Aja! Aja!! Happy preps!

Mas marami pang dapat pagkagastusan than the wedding proper. Save a lot, take much efforts and search for quality but cheap suppliers.
