hi sis djctapalla23, i looked at mariah santos, at oo nga nakakabakla nga hahahaha.... nag try din ako mag inquire pero hindi pa siya sumasagot... pero kung mas mahal nga siya kay CJ malamang hindi din namin yan afford. Gustong gusto ko na nga sana ibook si CJ kaso yung sister ko na nasa pinas, she was advising me to explore muna sa bridal fair sa june 20 sa smx. Overseas bride kasi ako kaya sa internet at blogs lang ako nagrerely. Now i dont know na... parang gusto ko na siya lalo ibook kasi baka maunahan pa ako sa slot! hehe... waaahhhh.... isip isip pa over the weekend!!!!

April 2016 bride here. Simpleng wedding lang naman ang aming target. Started booking suppliers. Enjoy din ang experience at the same time sakit sa ulo. Ha ha.

We booked L'Orchard Garden in Antipolo at St. Therese of the Child Jesus in Masinag

Any tips and feedback would be appreciated.

I booked na rin other suppliers - mobile bar, host, OTD coordinator Undecided pa caterer and photo and vid. Hopefuly maka-book for today's bridal fair sa PICC

Sharing the good news lang po. We finally have a date! Yeeee! I think madali din samin yung sched kasi the venue for our wedding ceremony and reception is the same.

So far, ito na yung mag naboobook namin:

Venue for Ceremony and Reception- Cipriano's Garden (sa kanila na din yung catering, flowers, table arrangements, and sound system… so yay for that! will discuss minor details na lang with them as our wedding date draws closer--mga 3-4 months before kasi that's the time we'll pay half the cost)
P/V Team - God's Grace Production (they're good friends of mine and really good colleagues when I was still working for TV prod. And super confident that they can deliver what we want, especially sa treatment ng videos.)

As of now, we're in the process of trimming our guest list (grabe super hirap into. any suggestions sis?) and looking for a good MUA.

^Hi sis pretty.is.me!  SMA is my OTD too   So far happy ako with Sheena.  OTD lang kinuha ko pero may time na siya nag-abono ng dp sa isang supplier kasi based kame overseas ni h2b.  Both family naman namin unavailable at that time kaya hindi sila makapag-deposit.  Sheena took the initiative na bayaran na yung dp.  hehe!

^Sis jhoni21, Mariah is my HMUA.  Buti na lang I booked him last year pa kaya locked in na yung price with his old rates.  I was surprised when I found out what his current package rates are.  You might want to check my prenup HMUA...  Her name is Arriane Salas So.  Her rates are affordable.

hello everyone! back to wedding planning again  took a little break since we both got caught up with work.
Updates: the other couple already decided to book ms. Nicolai.. we’re ok with that. Baka sila ang meant to be she also offered her team naman. lesson learned lang, we already ask suppliers clearly where we stand kapag nag-inquire kami. Ironically, almost the same thing happened with SMA. We're the couple naman na una nag-inquire, but due to conflicts with our schedules, nadelay meeting namin with Ms. Sheena.  I was about to request to have it rescheduled kaya lang she informed us that there is already a couple who are willing to book her na but she said she’s saving the date for us until we meet. Me and h2b decided to give it to the other couple na lang.  Start na lang ulit kami ngayon with OTD coord hunting

hi mga sis! been following this forum for a few months na pero posted lang today. feb 2016 bride here! feb 20 2016 to be exact. may twin bride ba ko dito? share ko lang suppliers that i've booked:

venue: glass garden
caterer: passion cooks (officially booking them tomorrow, initial food tasting na rin namin sa kanila bukas)
otd: sheena of sma weddings and beyond
emcee: darlene tan
hmua: ish sison
gowns: ivory and white bridal (no fittings yet but i told them i'll visit their bridal shop in june, yun din advise nila)
p/v: h&m photo cinema
flowers: considering mv balo

sis pretty.is.me and sis rienny25 parehas tayo kay sheena. OTD ko lang siya pero alagang-alaga ako. ang bilis niya magreply and she's so helpful. GT find siya and i'm so happy i booked her on the spot after we had our initial meeting. siya lang kasi ata yung coordinator na walang negative feedback dito? ang extensive din ng worksheet na binigay niya sakin. i'm very happy with her!

si ms darlene naman, laking tulong din. i go to her for advise din after ko magtanong kay sheena, parang second opinion. it's like i have 2 coordinators! she hasn't emailed me her workbook yet and hindi ko pa siya nireremind about it. feeling ko no rush?

yung passion cooks naman hindi accredited sa glass garden. kbyc first choice ko pero fully booked na sila on my date tried food tasting with juan carlo and josiah's but hubby and i were unimpressed. so according to good feedback dito sa GT kay passion cooks regarding food and styling, we're officially booking them tomorrow. we're currently pencil booked. sana lang talaga ok yung food! may pc bride din ba dito? would love some feedback!

yung h&m photo cinema naman, they just launched their company last year. husband and wife team who have been freelancing for mayad for some years now. ganda ng gawa nila! ang affordable din ng rates nila feeling ko you get mayad quality without paying mayad rates. ang bait din nila kausap.

for your music mga sis, did you get a string quartet? on top of a string quartet naghire din ba kayo ng dj to play upbeat songs and to play yung ibang songs like first dance, father-daughter dance? do you hire djs separately or provided na sila ng professional lights and sounds? wala pa kasi akong ganon eh...

hi sis barbeecue!! same tayo ng feeling kay ms darlene sis! she's like my 2nd coordinator and i always send my inquiries to both her and my OTD - ayie, pabilisan pa sila magreply, kahit holiday! super helpful talaga. you can ask darlene for a copy of the workbook, i also had to ask for this kasi nalimutan niya rin isend after we paid the dp. exciting mag fill-up ng workbook, na-feel kong totoo na talaga. lol

ask darlene for recommendation for lights and sounds suppliers. some of them have DJs and sila na bahala magplay if you'll bring your own playlist sa cd/usb for the music during the program. your strings/band can also play during the program, nasa paguusap na lang kung paano ang magiging arrangement, most of them kasi are paid based on the number of songs or per set. personally, i dont feel the need to hire a separate dj, i can also create my own playlist naman (spotify!) for upbeat songs para sa after party.
