Hi sissies!  Nabuhay ako ulit hahahah, tapos na kasi yung term ko sa grad school.  Thesis na lang!  Yun nga lang kasabay ng wedding preps.  January 2016 bride here.

Has anyone attended a wedding at Blue Leaf McKinley - Jade Pavilion?  How does the place look?  We reserved the place kasi, sabi nila good for 150 pax seated.  Hindi ko lang maimagine yung layout at mukhang mapupuno namin yung 150.  Hindi ba masyadong masikip with the dance floor and stage and space for the musicians et al?

sis i haven't attended a wedding at Jade Pavillion but i saw this fully setup during one of our oculars at blue leaf. based on what i saw, parang sakto lang siya sa 100 guests, maybe 120 max. if you'll add pa a stage, dance floor masikip na talaga. if your target is 150 pax you might want to move to Silk. if you have time, maybe you can do an ocular as well, ask your AE if when may event dito so you can visit during ingress. hope this helps!

annerea, just in case nicolai will not be available on your wedding day, you can ask her for recommendations din. i'm sure she would be happy to recommend one of her friends. did you consider getting her hubby si toto villaruel? they have similar styles and parehong mabait and madali kausap.

i suggest unahin mo ang church at reception venue, kase dapat sila ang magmatch sa date mo, at syempre kung available pa or hindi na..

You have so many options for the other suppliers. Once that's secured siguro you can go for photo and video next. happy preps!

hi sis janabebe! welcome to GT! Jan or Feb is considered peak season for weddings and you might find that some well known suppliers are already booked by now, especially on weekends. time-wise, hindi pa naman bitin yan. but you have to get moving as soon as possible. as previously recommended, start with your church and venue, then p/v and coordinator. there are a lot of threads here that can help you with whatever you need. good luck sis and happy preps!

Hi sis kateguerzon   Muntik na din na ikaw ang maging twin bride ko.  Originally April 23 wedding namin.  Nagawa na nga contract ng Videogpraher namin then after a few days, sabi ni h2b April 30 na lang daw.  So I had to email our videographer to have our contract changed.  hehe!  Buti pa kayo anniv niyo yung wedding date.  Kame kasi hindi pwede dahil naging kame ng Christmas.  Baka wala kameng makuhang supplier kung Christmas day ang wedding namin.  Sa Fernbrook yung venue namin

I don't think it's late! We're also marrying on Feb 6, 2016, and now palang din talaga kami nagsstart to contact suppliers and everything else. Medyo we're kinda winging it nga, dahil hindi naman din isang bagsakan ang dating ng funds. Nausog na rin yun gusto namin wedding date dahil nagulat kami, puno na ang January sa venue na gusto namin!

Hi fellow brides! Late 2016 bride here.

We haven't reserved an actual venue yet but so far we've booked a full wedding coordination package (Amanda Tirol at Boracay Weddings) and photographer (Pat Dy). Hoping to finalize our videographer soon. The decision is between Mayad and Bob Nicolas. Any thoughts or opinions on them? Having a hard time deciding!

Since overseas ako inuna ko na coordinator para maaga siya mag start mag plan for us.

Agree sis! I think medyo masikip na nga ang Jade for 150 guests, For me kahit wala pang dance floor mukha na syang masikip. You may want to check out Silk or Banyan.

Sir marsala2016, my wedding's on Dec 2015. Kami din nahirapan sa photo/vid, not until we booked A&A! Haha. Dami talagang choices sa p/v. I stopped looking at other photog's portfolio.  I got Imbitado's otd, iba yung nakuha kong host

And joe san antonio for the gown.

Hay naku ang dami pang kulang. Now looking for souvenirs for PS, SS, musicians sa church & reception then a reception/event stylist kasi sobrang basic ng floral centerpieces na provided ng Ibarra's. Also, I've learned my lesson na hindi por que nasa bridal fair ay dapat book agad. Research, wag maging impulsive & wag padadala sa freebies na inoOffer. Lost a small amount to my previous P/V but I'll try na magamit pa our DP to maybe rent their props, basta wag lang talaga mauwi sa wala yung binayad namin. Happy preps sisses!
