April 2016 bride po ako. So far, booked na ang church, caterer, venue and p/v. Otd- soon. Still scouting for hmua and gowns and suits. Happy preps mga sis

Ibarra's Garden ba yun nasa Manila? I think my Tita got married there 10-11 years ago. I also attended a debut some 3 years ago. Okay naman. Pero parang maliit yung venue lalo kapag may program sa labas, tapos yun guests nasa loob. Walang nakikita.

Is this the one along Timog? I went there for ocular last Feb (I think). The place was big, with high ceiling. I was about to book them, but my sister advised me to look at other options before deciding. I found the package of Oasis Manila a bit more flexible for me. I also preferred the styling of their venue. Not naman to say that Ibarra's is bad. There's a thread here exclusively for them and there are many good reviews. Check mo na lang, sis.

I just got Orchard. Not really expecting a lot because it's mostly just my friends and family (and I'm very choosy, ahahaha. Snob lang.) H2b kasi is not local, so we're only expecting his immediate family.

Hindi pa kasi kami nakakapag-ocular visit sa Ibarra's Garden, sa GFT pa lang namin makikita this coming Apr30. Pero sabi maganda naman daw dun. 130-150 lang naman ang guests namin. Kaya feeling ko oks lang. Haha. Feel ko lang naman yun.

Sis LingMVL, panong mas flexible po sa Oasis compared sa Ibarra? Meron ka bang rates? Could you mail it to me? If oks lang.

Sa Oasis, I only have the hard copy of their rates. Actually, mas maraming freebies ang Ibarra's and their rates are pretty good, but I liked the fact that I have a choice of caterers with Oasis. I also liked the aesthetics of the place more, and that they have parking (kahit limited). The parking is very important, especially sa family ng h2b ko. Sa Ibarra's kasi (Timog), walang parking.

By the way, pogi02, are you a guytalker? Because I've been calling you sis...

Anyway, yes I already have the rates of Ibarra's and I also inquired to them sa fair and via phone. Magtataas na nga sila ng rates ngayong May 1 e. Medyo malaki itataas nila kaya nape-pressure ako na i-price lock na yung old rates.

I've attended 2 weddings in Oasis. Maganda nga yung place, accessible. But ang main concern ko sa mga halls nila, parang masikip masyado yung mga nakuhang halls ng mga friends ko. Have you booked them? And ano pa yung mga factors bakit si Oasis ang napili aside from aesthetics and choice of caterers?

In terms of foods naman, di ko pa na-taste yung kay Ibarra pero dami nagsasabi na panalo foods nila. I've tried Hizon's and RichGold. Hizon's is a no no and RichGold is thumbs up. (Talagang dito ako nagsabi ng comment, hahaha!)

Sis rienny25, April 29 kami  Ikaw sis, when in April kayo? Ang galing nyo naman. Minor details na lang in 1 year! Sana kami din para chillax chillax na lang. 

Hi sis khalee!  Muntik na tayo naging twin bride   April 30 yung wedding namin.  Naghabol kasi kame ng price lock-up last year kaya binook na mga major suppliers bago pa sila mag-increase.  Gusto din kasi ni h2b na prioritize and pagbili ng house this year kaya tinapos na namin last year lahat ng pwedeng tapusin.

^Sis B2B2016, usually pwede pa lang gawin yun 6 months before the wedding.  H2b and I are based overseas and umuwi kame last year pero hindi kame pinayagan mag-pre cana.  Yung canonical naman, after pa lang ma-submit ng mga requirements and 6 months validity din yung mga documents.  I would suggest you check it with your church kasi baka mas lenient and considerate sila.  Lamo naman minsan, depende sa mood ng secretary.  hehe!

We got Smart Shot from last themes & motifs bridal fair sis marsala2016. Choice ni h2b, gusto nya kasi may mga kasamang albums and stuffs na para daw wala na kaming asikasuhin after the wedding mukhang okay naman yung offer nila sa min. Maraming freebies. hehe
