ok na effect ng thanaka soap sa skin ko,,less oily ,then naglighten na dark spots ko,,,thanaka powder in thin application ,cools my skin,dried my 3 pomples due to hormonal imbalance,...sana magtuloy tuloy na effect .....

@jaiho dry ba iyong thanaka 10grams? iyong saakin kasi 110grams pero medyo basa,at hindi ko maintindihan ang sulat....

Dry sya sis powder talaga, then nilagyan ko lang ng water. Medyo nadamihan ko nga ng water kaya super labnaw kala ko di na magiging mask sa face ko pero nung natuyo ayun parang thin mask pa rin naman sya.

@jaiho ,,I need that dried  thanaka ,,as read na its good also face powder....
I use also Mkay thanaka soap for my face now....no sting ,redness on my face na,maybe nakapag adjust na skin ko sa thanaka,,kagabi sinubukan ko lang,I applied thanaka mask before sleep and leave overnight,,upon wake up ,parang naka face powder na ako,,I rinse it w/tap water and it truly lightens my dark spots....sana hindi mag cause ng pimples....

^yes sis i read pwede din sya as finishing powder and powder foundation na din. Kakapain ko pa kung pano sya as powder foundie. As finishing powder brush lang pwede na daw according to the seller.

last night I mix thanaka w/turmeric and leave over night again,,ganda ng effect smooth finish,,then I rinsed w/tap water,,

^ok naman packaging sis mariebiscuit may parang cover pa sya sa loob na medyo mahirap i-open para iwas tapon. Ganda effect sos nakaka brighten pero tinubuan ako maliit na maliit na pimps di ko alam kung dahil dun. Di ko rin alam kase if i'm doing it right. May mga skincare regimen din kasi ako di ko alam kung san ko isisingit. What i did was wash my face with glycolic soap then apply thanaka, leave for 10 mins then rinse. Tapos toner and yung chat 2% ko which has tret. Siguro mas ok if singit ko sya in the afternoon para walang kasabay na meds.

Nag order din ako sa kanya ng bihaku spot whitening serum. Once ko pa lang nagamit. Hehe same problem di ko rin alam kung pano ko isisingit. Sa chin ko sya muna nilagay since may mga dark pinp marks ako dun. The morning after wala naman breakouts kaya feeling ko ok naman.

@jaiho sis sa pagkakaalam ko magcause ng break outs thanaka if use w/chemicals,such as glycolic acid and retinoic acid,the two of that are exfoliants ,maiinit pa panahon ,ako kasi I use OS o gasa w/ thanaka soap para malinis mukha ko at hindi na me gumagamit ng toner (tamad kasi) then thanaka paste sa gabi,,sa am naman thanaka soap , then I use hydrating sunblock before applying thin thanaka to my face ,,gusto ko kasi malaman if hiyang talaga me sa thanaka , before I start kasi thanaka regimen ,I use hhn rosehip oil sa face,kaya paggamit ko nag redness and sting sa cheeks ko,,so now inalis ko rosehip oil muna,,no new pimples comming kahit pa I leave thanaka overnight....
once I get my package sa theoptions plan ko gawin face powder aftet my natural hydration sunblock,,mas madali na mag apply kasi dry thanaka powder...
if ok ang regimen mo,,and no breakouts or kuminis pa lalo ,I might try again add my rosehip oil sa face .....

^awww thanks for the info sis. Last night di na muna ko naglagay thanaka. Back to queen helene mint mask muna ko natakot ako sa breakouts hehe. Pero isisingit ko uli sya sa afternoon na lang. Try ko tomorrow.

last day I received my thanaka powder from theoptions,,after washing my face w/ thanaka soap,,followed w/ hydration sunblock,while still damp, I pat the thanaka powder using powder puff....then viola ,,instant pore minimizer and naurally matches my skin tone,,controls oily of my skin,,after hours it never darkens my face too,as other face powder do....
I transfer my thanaka powder to small powder container w/puff bought in landmark....

I didn't find any thanaka cream/paste sa HKG when I was there    I'll probably wait to buy on our next trip to Myanmar. Madami pa naman yung stock ko plus I only use it for my occasional breakouts.

^^sorry sis I don't have extra. Yung jar na nabili ko is puno pa naman. Next time talaga damihan ko na ang bili ko sa Myanmar. As to when is a good question. 

^sis I saw that but I prefer yung pure thanaka cream/paste. The Bio essence kasi is parang extract lang mixed with other ingredients. Feeling ko mas okay yung walang halo para you get the maximum efficacy ng thanaka bark.

I have to stop thanaka na. Nag breakout talaga ako although di ako ganun ka-sure if it's thanaka nga talaga or maybe sis mariebiscuit is right di ko sya pwede isabay with tret. I'm not ready to stop tret naman.

@jaiho....me naman I applied thinly  with turmeric @ night and leave overnight,,ok naman,kaso dahil sa 3 nights ,,ayun nagsilabasan mga mini pimples ,I only use mkay thanaka soap and thinly applied thanaka to my face.....last night lang ako naka apply ulit ng thanaka - turmeric paste,,dried pimples na lahat,,buti nalang if pure thanaka applied thily ,hindi ganun halata,,eto na yata ang purging stage na sinasabi.......
may nabasa me na thanaka and safflower oil or katsumi oil can be use to remove body hairs permanently....,

^sige sis research ko rin kung san ko pa sya pwede magamit para di sayang. Fault ko din naman hehe i thought it will work better for me  like queen helene mint mask. Kala ko pwede ko sya i-add sa routine ko. di ako nagresearch mabuti.

I tried thanaka as my deo....wow instant white and no smell talaga,,less sweat too....after shower while my skin was wet ,I applied thanaka pasta to my under arms thinly .....I read it somewhere that it also supress hair growth ....I will continue to use it as deo....
