Theme for a Boy & Girl Party.

Hello guys,

Can you pls. help me think of a good theme for my son(8th) and daughters(7th) birthday? Balak sana namin kasi ipagsabay na lang yung party nila. My daughter loves Frozen/Elsa/Princess and my son loves Cars/Lego/Spongebob/Baymax. Hindi ko alam kung alin dun ang maganda/paano icombine yung mga themes na gusto nila. Do you have any ideas na magandang theme for both boy & girl?

Also, with regards sa venue do you think Fun Ranch or Active Fun is still okay or anyone tried Kidzoona sa Galleria? Okay ba sa kanila magparty? Sulit? They want din kasi yung may play after the party.

I'm also thinking of what entertainment should I choose appropriate for their age? The last time na nagpaparry kasi kami for them was 1st bday pa nila. The past few yrs kasi they want a toy, school party or out of the country vacation lang. Ngayon they want a Party.

Hmmm.... usually sis pag ganyan para mas madali like what I will do sa sabay ng party for boy and girl. I did a backyard BBQ party or corboy/cowgirl themed party. Yung tipong generic theme para hindi magmukhang parang magkaibang party. Sa Fun Ranch ok chaka I think mag-eenjoy sila. Hassle free nadin. Bawian mo nalang sa gifts na magkaiba sila. hehe

ito rin probelem ko while prepping a month ago. just had a party last saturday for the 7th birthday of my eldest (boy) and baptism of my 2 mo girl. I chose the circus/carnival theme. naging mas madali. sa prizes at loot bags na lang lumabas yung frozen and avengers items. pero yung theme na-capture pa rin sa color ng balloons, cake, photobooth, cotton candy and face painting. may host/magician/ventriloquist/balloon twisting din for entertainment. all in all mabilis nakuha yung theme since generic naman. no need for costume din with kids - although pwede rin magcostume kung gusto. basta isa lang ang rule ko - no clowns. I find them creepy. hehe!

Same problem here. We initially decided to have mermaids and pirates but then my daughter recently got super hooked on Little Pony so she insisted to having that as a theme instead. We tried to neutralize it a bit by making it more of a "rainbow" theme party. Buti na lang blue si rainbow dash. This will be our daughter's 5th and out son's Christening.

We already decided to have Royal Party (Prince & Princess) as the theme for their party. October pa yung event pero we already booked One Cafe na for the venue. Haha.  Almost complete na nga ang suppliers for their bday and was able to DP na din with some of them. Hahahaha. Nakakatuwa kasing magorganize/plan. I'm really excited na sa party. Sana walang maging aberya lalo na sana walang tumapat na bagyo. ^_^

Ito rin ata magiging problema ko. My daughter will be 7 and my son will be 1 early next year pa naman pero ngayon pa lang parang napapaisip na ako ng theme nila at venue, since hate ng daughter ko mga mascot or clowns, so, definitely not a jollibee, mcdo party, or like party.

i think a space/galaxy theme would be nice both for boys and girls you can have spaceships, planets and aliens! I could also suggest a peter pan themed party where you could have the lost boys as well as fairies and pirates. The color scheme also plays a big role in making a party gender neutral. Cowboys and Indians is a cute idea where boys can wear cowboy hats and bandanas and girls can wear head pieces and bracelets with feather and face paint.

Suggested themes:

Personally, I prefer themes that are not novelty. I like yung mga unique but not weird. So when big na si baby hindi naman nya sabihin baduy laos na yun character na yan etc. hehe!
(Just my thinking lang naman)

For our boy the themes that I consider are:

-Vintage airplane (then the slogan will be 1st sky high adventure, for his first birthday)
-Space ship and astronaut
-Cowboy
-Construction party
Then maraming road signs na decorations
-Circus
-Woodland theme
-barnyard
- crayon - tapos maraming oversiZed crayons na decor
- shark party pag pool party
- dinosaur digging party
- pirate


Then if we have a girl ito naman..

- Alice in Wonderland
- ballerina
- shabby chic
- pastel floral party
- polkadot party (different colors)
- princess pink and gold ang colors
- dainty tea party

Generic parties pwede sa girl or boy
- camping party
- hot air balloon
- pizza party tapos magdedecorate sila ng pizza

I've attended parties where the celebrants were brother and sister, and the themes were:

1) Woody and Jessie (Toy Story)
2) Peppa and George (Peppa Pig)
3) Princess Amber and Prince James (Sofia the First)
4) Generic party themes: carnival, space and safari

TS seems that nakaisip ka na pala ng theme for the both of your kids. Kasi kung ako ang nasa lagay mo, pagsasabayin ko talaga pareho yung theme like Frozen and Cars since same naman silang Disney. Which is for me mas kaya pa ngang gawan ng paraan kasi lalo na sa lootbags hindi magiging mahirap yan dahil understood kung ano ang pang boys and girls. Yung mga hilig nila mas madali pang hanapan ng mga materials for birthday.

Sa case ko naman wala akong theme na ginawa kundi focusing on colors lang. Kaya sa giveaways puro generic rin. Baby pa naman kaya hindi ako nagdecide ng theme. Pero paglaki kung may preference siya saka ko susundin ito.
