BIR Online Filing
« on: April 21, 2015, 10:28:04 am »
Anyone here who is also having problems with BIR's online filing regulation? I'm really very much frustrated on this. Until now hindi naman ma access yun BIR laging "not responding" then if tatawag ka naman sa BIR eh wala namang sumasagot both sa RDO ko and their customer service.

Same here!!!!! Grabe!! I was only able to register .

Pupunta pa ng RDO e db dapat direct bank since my payment. Tsk.

I was able to finish the ITR (1702RT) online filing and got it received sa SEC na rin for our business. Sa mga gagamit ng EFPS eto technique, do it AFTER office hours para hindi congested ang network, naging problema ko din to a week before the deadline so what I did was I accessed the EFPS around 6PM and mga 8PM tapos na ko, actually it can be done under an hour, tumagal lang ako sa formatting for printing kasi required yata ang A4 accdg to our accountant.

Prior to doing everything online, I used the OFFLINE application first at dun ako nag encode ng mga kelangan, tapos when I went online retype na lang ng details ginawa ko, medyo hassle kasi yung mga hindi available na info from our last year's ITR eh need na i-encode this time around so hagilap pa ko sa details. Lucky for me, we had those details ready.

The entire procedure is really, really complicated lalo na sa mga first time gagamit so understandable ang frustration that they're getting pero kahit papano very simple to process naman kasi more on fill-in the blanks na lang gagawin dahil auto-compute na ang ibang fields. Just make sure that all necessary info are available by the time you do it online kasi the system will kick you out if you've been idle for over 5 minutes yata so ulit ka na naman kaya hindi mo afford na mag backtrack ng matagal. Also for your payment dapat may naka-ready na rin kayo account for the online banking para dire-diretso.

Oh and don't bother calling up the RDO, malabo kausap mga yan (from my experience). Sure you can try calling them up PERO don't get your hopes up - trust me I've tried that myself.

I've been trying every day at ibat-ibang time of the day but still the same. Like yun 1601C which is due on the 10th. Ayaw, tanggapin yun manual filing then on the 10th at hindi pa umaga ng 10th biglang naglabas na pwede na pala muna mag manual file. So ayun balik na naman sa BIR to file. Yun sa ITR naman yun memo nila na extend ng June ang pag refile online is on the 15th din nilabas ang memo. Sabi mag file daw ahead of time eh papano nga eh paiba-iba sila.
Tapos yung system requirements eh dapat lawakan nila.

Pagkakaalala ko as early as 2009 "daw" sinimulan na yan pero ako mismo I've been doing the efps thingy for over a year now on a monthly basis kaya kahit papano napractice ko.

The best time to successfully access their website is from 12am to 5am. Their online system also works in IE10 browser, but better use IE9.

I have no business yet, but I am thinking of registering as self-employed/freelancer once I get a steady project. Ang pinaka-nakakagulo sa akin, and pinakamalaking hadlang, is the process of figuring out and paying taxes.

There's monthly filing (and paying if applicable). Then there's quarterly filing, right? Then in April dagsaan na ng mga taxpayers, tapos ang alam ko, you file electronically AND on paper, so online upload, AND submit a CD with your tax information, tama ba? Madugo daw.

1) For anyone who has experience in processing their freelance or business financials, how do/did you go about it?
2) How is/was it?
3) Meron ba kayong accountant to help you along?
4) What did/do you do to help make the process easier and faster?

Medyo familiar na and BIR ngayon sa term na freelancer (years ago nung nagtanong ako, no one at my RDO even knew what 'freelancer' meant.) Pero magulo pa din, because I was still asked to register as a business, eh ako lang. Ipinapafile ako ng business name etc. sa DTI -- but I'm not a business, I just write when I get the rare project.

I don't think I'm the only one having such anxiety about registration and especially tax processing, so I hope you guys can help with your experiences and advice. Thank you.

Hi Adrian! Best thing for your to do is go to the BIR office or the Revenue District Office (RDO) which depends on your business address kung walang office, yong address na gagamitin mo. After you are registered you can check your Certificate of Registration, andon nakalagay don yong required taxes mo.

After you register, message me, i can teach you so it would be easier for you to pay your taxes. :-)
